I fell in love with this immediately. both the aroma and flavor hit right. slightly earthy but in a comforting way. I'm not a fan of traditional rooibos but this is it.
This natural sweetness and low tannin content ensure a smooth, never bitter brew that requires little if any, sweetener. Like red rooibos, it is also naturally caffeine-free and great plain or flavored, hot or iced for anytime enjoyment.

If you want a light flavored tea - this is the one for you. It is a nice flavor without being overwhelming.
Very pleasant fruity bright and fun without flavors. Tastes natural and clean and nice. Unique and interesting
This tea will go great for my birthday Italian tea cake.
Very smooth, always loved this kind of tea before bedtime.
I’m a big fan of rooibos and loved having this on hand
Delectable rooibos tea with hint of green tea flare. When you’re ready to change it up, this choice should be at the top of the list!
I really love green rooibos! It's so light and mellow, and a little earthy. Easy to brew and impossible to oversteep.
I liked the green rooibos. I had a hard time pinning this flavor down. It definitely still has that distinct rooibos flavor, but to say the green is milder is definitely understating it. It kind of reminded me of maybe toasted grains a little bit. I would recommend this to anyone that kind of liked red, but wished it was not so strong. I am not sure how this would do in blends as I really feel many flavors would completely cover the green rooibos subtle flavor. 212° 5 min
I love green rooibos! Such a good base for tea blends. I found it on its own to have a sweet honey, and almost nutty taste. Delightful
A pretty orange in the glass, it is an ok tea. Not offensive. Not amazing. An acceptable sip. 212F for five minutes.
A light sip, green but not grassy or too vegetative in taste. I am reminded of the warm sweet aroma of cut grass piles curing in the sun, almost hay like. I'm pretty sure I would love this with Cranberry cream blended in. I could see mixing it with fruit teas and it's tasting far superior to the bottled offerings in stores .
Slightly sweet and green tea ish, plain green rooibos brewed to clear orange color. I didn't expect to enjoy it on its own, but I do. A relaxing cup with no fuss, impossible to over seep.
As a stand alone drink this one did nothing for me, I’m sure it’s good in blends though.
I prefer this rooibos much more than the red. It is much milder and less bitter. I think it would be a good tea to mix with others.
Satisfying but I did use it as a base with a few syrups
Green Rooibos is quite good in blends. I blended the Adagio 'Paradisio' Green Rooibos blend, some Chamomile & today's CT Packet to make a lovely evening cuppa sippage.
A simple, subtle rooibos tea that is not red, but green and tastes like white! A little bit of honey goes a long way in making this a delightful cup of (caffeine-free) tea!
rooibos is typically a meh for me, but this green is a nice subtle nearing green tea flavor profile more to my liking. a hint of sweetness, thanks to rock sugar crystals, really pulls it together, highlighting the bright tones
This has been one of the best teas I’ve tried - oh how I love you green rooibos! I tried it plain and then added some lemon and a slight hint of honey and I almost finished it all while it was still hot. But I resisted the urge and I’m so glad, because it was even better chilled! (But I prefer cold beverages, so there’s that.)
I’m not very good with words, but I can say it took everything I love about green teas and added even more. Smooth and citrusy are probably a good way to describe it since the lemon and touch of honey enhanced its natural flavors. And no caffeine means I and others sensitive to it can rejoice!
A subtle fresh sweet aroma and a mellow taste. I can see why this is a great base for teas I love.
There is so much green rooibos in every communitea box! Or maybe it just seems that way to me. I usually give these away.
I have liked teas w green Rooibos as an ingredient. But this to me tastes like hot water w a hint of rubber tire.
CommuniTEA sample: 5 min @ 212 F. I like the flavor of red rooibos. But I see why people like green rooibos as well! It has a very similar flavor, but a lot of the notes people complain about often are toned down. It's not quite as tart and earthy, and it doesn't have some of the medicinal tastes, instead of having a slight bit of grassiness. It's also slightly sweet, and has a lot of the flavor that you would expect from an unflavored, mild black tea, without any of the caffeine. It's nice for a lighter, simple tea!
I definitely prefer green rooibos to regular rooibos but personally I am not a rooibos girly. This is ok.
Got this because I just wanted to try it solo. I've had scented versions, and blends with this as an ingredient. I loooove regular red rooibos, and it was fun to try the green. A more mellow version, woody, very pleasant just plain. Can't wait to try iced.
This is a Caffein free staple in our home. A bright flavor hinting at citrus and green. Delightful cold in the summer or warm in the winter. Perfect before bed!
Green Rooibos is a great alternative to green tea if you can't have the caffeine. Green Rooibos is a very healing tea.
Nice combination that’s between rooibos and honeybush.
I found out that I prefer green rooibos to red rooibos. The flavor is milder and really hits the spot as an after dinner relaxing treat.
I love rooibos. Green is so interesting, softer and more tropical
I love green rooibos, not as a stand alone tea but as an addition to flavored herbals or rooibos teas that are too sweet or too bitter. It is a nice neutralizer.
I've tried Green Rooibos sold by other online retailers, and this one from Adagio is my favorite. It tastes clean and fresh. I often add cinnamon bark and vanilla extract to the cup after brewing, and if it's after dinner, I may add a little milk as well.
I was a little disappointed that this tea didn't have more flavor. I found that I had to use 1 1/2 teaspoons with 8 oz water to achieve the flavor I wanted.
I was hoping to like this better than green tea, and... nah. I'm not convinced. Might try it iced. For what it's worth, I don't like green tea. Green tea enthusiasts who don't want the caffeine hit will probably like this.
This has a lovely light flavor - a little green, a bit earthy or mineral tasting, with a natural sweetness. It actually reminded me a bit of the Ali Shan I tasted the day before, which was very surprising until I realized I used the same cup for both. 😂 But it has similar qualities. Toward the bottom of the cup, I started to taste a bit of the wet-woodiness of red rooibos, just a hint. This is wonderful for blends and good on its own, too.
I wasn’t a super fan of this tea. It was too earthy.
A Very mild green rooibos tea. I agree with many that my preference is to the green rooibos tea. I enjoyed this mild tea today. I added a little honey.
I see why most people prefer the green rooibos to the red. It has a sweet woodsy taste that also makes a nice cup for nighttime no caffeine times.
This is ok. I think I'd prefer it in blends, but i am drinking it solo for the review. I didn't add my customary creamer, but I did add a bit of sweetener. To me it almost mimics a black tea which surprised me in a good way. However it still has that woody taste - which if you like woody black teas this might be right up your alley!
A pleasant caffeine free option; light and grassy notes. I had it as an iced tea with a little honey. I sampled this tea as part of the CommuniTEA May 2021 box.
My favorite kind of rooibos, red has that certain flavor alot of people don't enjoy. If you don't like red rooibos try green for a lighter more pleasant flavor.
I tried this as a CommuniTEA sample. It is grassy but not unpleasantly so. It is very plain but could be an excellent base to build other flavors. Fun Fact: despite it's name, it brews to a nice caramel color!
Nice light sweet aroma, reminds me of a sweetened seaweed dessert. 5+ min @ 212. Pleasant light flavor maybe some toasted sweet grain. I think this is great for a straight forward hot beverage or a base for blending. I added a few licorice root pieces on the resteep and boosted the sweetness.
As someone who really doesn't like red rooibos, I was curious about this one. While still not a fan, I much prefer the green. It's much lighter. As others have noted, a woodsy or straw-ish flavor, smooth, and no aftertaste. I think this would work extremely well in blends.
Mr. Ed on a liquid diet. No Sir, I don't like it.
This tea is very soothing. I've never tried green rooibus unflavored before, bit it is very flavorful. It has much of the same flavor as red rooibus, but without the tannins. It is also a bit more greenish flavor without the grassiness. This is a really great blending tea.
I normally ordered mint green. But this time I wanna try new one.
This makes a very pleasant tasting cup of plain tea. It is mildly sweet on its own but I preferred it with a touch of honey added.
It has a woodsy-earthy smell coming from the packet. Once brewed, it’s a light brighter, fresher taste than the red rooibos. The flavor is woody and earthy with a grassy tone and a little sweetness to it. I like this one alone, but I like it blended too.
Earthy with an underlying sweetness. Second steep tasted better with a stick of cinnamon swirled in it to add some zing.
I really like the earthy flavors of roobios tea. The green roobios makes it slightly less 'thick' in texture. This, regular/red roobios and honey bush are my favorites.
