Great citrusy tea! each flavor blends really well and none of them over power one another. I was worried about the lemon being too strong but it was rather subtle among the orange.

I wasn't expecting to like this tea as I generally don't enjoy rooibos. I guess I must have never tried green rooibos before. This tea had a strong orange flavor, but with a slightly orange rind taste. It was naturally sweet, so I didn't add any sugar.

This one smelled strongly of clean citrus once I opened my CommuniTEA packet. The flavor was a tad weaker than it smelled, but it tastes very bright. The orange is most noticeable, but it's brightened a bit by the lemon. With sugar added, it reminded me of Froot Loops cereal. Resteeping for 10 minutes with half the water resulted in a very weak cup that was just barely enjoyable. I would drink this one again, but I'll need to remember to steep with more tea for a stronger flavor.

What a wonderful tea blend! I love this blend and the quality. After tasting this in the CommuniTEA packet today I quickly added it to last nights order, luckily it had not been shipped yet. I am drinking this tea iced today. I dissolved a pinch of Adagio rock sugar crystals in while it was still hot. I might try it hot when I get the larger bag in the mail. I don't know how it could be better hot, but I will at least try it next time. In my opinion, this was a perfect tea to have iced. It was light, fruity and naturally sweet.

The ingredients yummy except I have yet to develop a taste for rooibos, hopefully some day.

The smell of this tea oddly reminds me of fruity pebbles or froot loops. When you inhale after you take a sip, the silky fruity flavor really shines through, and it plays really well with sugar and honey. A great tea for someone who happens to like fruity cereals.

This tea has a primarily orange and lemon flavors but not in the manner of a bright-tart citrust flavor, more of a sweet and mellow fruitiness that coats the mouth. The flavor reminds me of orange Jello. It is so fruit-forward that I felt I was drinking a warm fruit drink rather than a tea.

Meh. The smell on opening took me immediately back to childhood chores and the scent of lemon pledge. That’s a pretty difficult smell to get past, and it ends up tasting like a mediocre lemongrass tea—I assume the grassiness of the rooibos is lifting the citrus to lemongrass.

For people without the lemon pledge connection, like my Aussie husband, this was a mediocre lemongrass tea that wasn’t worth writing home about.

Wow citrus. Opening the Communitea packet released an orchard of lemons and oranges. The actual tea had a citrus twang but it was lighter in flavor than expected. Not something I would have everyday but enjoyable.

The smell from the packet was pleasant with a strong orange peel aroma. I brewed it as directed 212 for 5 minutes. Drinking it hot, it had a lovely citrus taste with lemon in the forefront. This would make a great iced drink but only drank it hot. I am adding this to my wishlist.

Really enjoyed this blend today. It’s delicious. Has a nice smooth base with lots of citrus flavor and aroma. But isn’t harsh at all.

I’m normally not a fan of green rooibos tea, but this one surprised me! The gently sweet flavor of green rooibos just worked with the light lemony citrus flavors. I did a long steep at 212F and kept it plain with no sugar.

5 min at 212 degrees. Some hay flavor that reminds me of chamomile, but must be the green rooibos base. Definite citrus taste with some brightness, but also each sip was different — some delicious, some meh. My mom, who is not much of a tea drinker, reviews it as: “It tastes like drinking a tangerine ... and also the tangerine leaves!” Torn on whether or not I would repurchase. I didn’t add lemon juice, but many other reviewers did, and that could tip this tea over toward repurchasing.

I found this to be a wonderful summery sip with a very refreshing citrus flavor. There are many citrus teas I’ve tried but I love how the green rooibos in this blend adds a gentle wet hay-like taste to the apricot, orange, and lemon palette. This woodsy flavor is just a whisper, though, and very gentle. It’s a welcome taste addition for me and compliments the citrus tang nicely with its soft natural sweetness.

After brewing 12 oz. at 208F for 5 min, I tasted the golden orangey liquor, then sweetened it with honey and poured a mini cup of it to chill. The hot tea had a very gentle scent compared to that of the 3 g/ 2 tsp of loose tea from the CT packet today. The main scent of apricot and orange in the packet was so enticing. There was a smattering of marigold stems, green rooibos and one small mango piece? I wasn’t sure so I added one orange peel to the tea before steeping for good measure. I enjoyed an 8 oz. resteep too but had to wait 10 minutes to try to duplicate the beautiful orangy color of the first steep. No bitterness or astringency was detected which is always a plus when brewing rooibos tea.

The chilled version of this blend was so revitalizing and citrus forward. As an iced tea, it would be terrific and I think it has just the right taste to make tasty popsicles too, decorated with thin slices of orange and mint leaves. Oh boy, I look forward to having more of this as the weather warms and enjoying new popsicles with a novel citron twist.

Outside of the packet, it smelled like lemon Pledge cleaner. Brewing it smelled like Fruity Pebbles. I usually have a stink about red rooibos, but green isn't half bad.

I opened up CommuniTEA today, saw, 'Rooibos' in the tea's name, and had a big ol' sad. My inner toddler started doing the tantrum dance: 'Rooibos agaaaaiiiinnnn?!'

Then again, Adagio has a pretty great track record with citrusy teas, and my favorite rooibos teas have been citrusy ones. And I do like green teas. So maybe I should give this citrusy green rooibos a chance.

And you know what? I'm glad I did. I tried it iced at the recommendations of a couple of CommuniTEA members, and I think that was a solid decision. It's light and summery, sweet and bright; it's begging to be a cold beverage. As many others have stated, it tastes a bit like Trix or Fruity Pebbles--any of the vaguely citrusy fruity kids' cereals.

And by the way, because green teas tend to be a bit astringent, I'm not a fan of steeping them at the recommended temp. I chose to steep it at 180 for 5 minutes and that was perfect for me: not astringent at all, but still packed with flavor. Also, I didn't get any of the chemically taste I usually get from rooibos teas, so I'm not sure if that's a product of the cooler steep or the fact that it's a green rooibos or what, but I was pleasantly surprised.

All in all, this is a pretty nice tea. I still think I prefer some of Adagio's other citrusy teas (I'm looking at you, Lemon Meringue Green), but I still enjoyed this experience.

But maaaaaan, now I'm craving Trix...

The second after opening my tea pouch I was hit with this citrus parade of scents. I kept smelling the bag and made sure I made everyone else's smell it too! Yum! I brewed at 212 for 5 mins and it's absolutely perfect! The citrus notes come out so well, orangy lemony, limey goodness, a little honey really brought out the sweetness of the orangyness. Huge fan, will be adding to my wishlist!! Can't wait to have a 2nd cup iced. This is going to be a summer staple!

Love the aroma of this one, too bad it’s not as strong on the flavor. Once brewed this tea has a fruity smell that’s reminiscent of fruity childhood cereal. The taste is pretty mild but still a pleasant tea. I enjoyed it hot but I’m sure a strong first steep over ice or overnight cold brew would be great too. Nice to find a rooibos I can drink.

Oooo how lemony! The citrus in this cup is really bright and refreshing. I’ve had some troubling experiences with metallic-tasting rooibos, but none of that here! Both scintillating and relaxing; I highly recommend this tea.

This is a nice tea if you like citrus. I'm not a huge fan of it, but since I received a trial week of CommuniTea, I wanted to try it. Probably not something I would buy for myself, but it's not bad. Most others have too much artificial flavoring in them.

This was a very nice tea. The citrus shows up leaning more toward the orange than lemon or lime. It was refreshing and very spring-like an enjoyable afternoon cup.

I'm glad I received this as a CommuniTEA sample, because this isn't one that I would have tried on my own. I'm very picky when it comes to strong citrus flavors, but had been very curious about this one, so was happy to have the excuse to experience it.

The initial scent upon opening the bag put me off because it reminded me very distinctly of dissolving vitamin C tablets that I used to have to suck on as a child, but after letting it air out for a couple of minutes, it had a much more depthier citrus smell. The actual tea had a similar effect to me, but in reverse. At the beginning of the cup, I was surprised at the balanced and pleasant array of citrus flavors. Lively but easy to drink, with enough interest to keep me engaged. As it began to cool off however, the vitamin C taste quickly returned and I couldn't taste much around it.

All in all, a better citrus experience than I'd been expecting, but still not a tea that I would purchase for myself.

If you like citrus tea, particularly orange - THIS IS THE TEA FOR YOU. Sadly, I'm not that girl. The citrus is very present on both the nose and palate. Unfortunately, for me, this came off as a cross between tang and that watery orange juice you get in the juice boxes at school that have always just been defrosted and are a little icy.

I’m not a huge fan of citrus teas, but this one isn’t too bad. Drinking hot, there’s an almost peppery hint, and a pleasant green tea taste. The citrus kind of hides, but tries desperately to sneak out. A touch of honey blends the flavors together, and makes for a pleasant sip. I don’t think I would care for this one iced.

I'm not a rooibos fan. I normally skip them. I question the thought of a caffeine free tea on a Monday in the Communitea. But I thought what the heck. Give it a shot. Boy am I glad I did. The scent out of the package was everything wonderful about citrus. The taste was excellent too. The only think I would want, is caffeine. LOL

The rooibos flavor wasn't overpowering - not gross like red rooibos. But unfortunately, the orange flavor was a little artificial to me. Not awful, but not something is be interested in having again.

212 degrees for 5 minutes. I didn't spot any fruit pieces in my communiTea packet today, but I did see pretty marigold petals along with an abundance of green rooibos tea. The scent was pleasantly citrus. The brewed tea was lightly tangy with orange and lemon notes on a smooth base. I bet this would make a great afternoon ice tea if you didn't want caffeine.

I am not generally an herbal tea fan, but I love this.

When I opened the packet, I was overwhelmed with lemon aroma. I love lemon, so this was good for me. After inhaling a bit more, I notice the grassy smell of the herbal tea.

The tea is deliciously lemony. But I don't get any of the other fruit that is supposed to be in this blend. I added a teaspoon of sugar-free mango syrup as sweetener, to try to highlight the other fruit flavors. It mellowed the lemon, but I didn't find any other fruit. Even still, with the mango syrup, I could drink this tea every day.

Okay is a good word to describe it. The tea leaves smelled like Trix cereal with certain flavors eliminated from the cereal (early 1980s Trix cereal at best), but the liquid tasted like a watered down orange flavored tea. I would probably prefer Citron Green, Green Rooibos Key West, or Green Rooibos Bonita over this. I will finish today's Communitea as I've always liked orange.

Oh, I like this tea! It reminds me of an Arnold Palmer, but better. The lemon comes through beautifully. It was fine without sweetening and absolutely delicious with. I would drink this one again! (5 mins @ 212 F, 2 drops EZ-Sweetz)

This has a lovely citrus aroma and a very good citrus/fruity pebbles flavor. I didn’t notice any of the usual rooibos wet cardboard/wood tastes. It would probably make an awesome iced tea. 200 F for 5 minutes. Added a couple of rock sugar crystals.

The smell of this tea was a zinger with bright fresh citrus notes. It brewed up to a pretty light reddish gold color. The scent was much more subdued once brewed.

This tea was pleasant and mild with subtle orange and lemon flavors. I think it would make a great refreshing cold tea. (212 degrees for 5 minutes)

The major flavors were rooibos and lemon. It almost tasted medicinal, like something you'd have to ease a sore throat. Tastes good with honey and ginger

This was fine. There were no fruit bits in my packet, so I added some orange peels and freeze dried mango from the pantry. Even with the additions, the tea was mostly just lemony, and smelled and tasted like froot loops. While there was nothing bad or wrong, it just didn't wow me. Sipping along with the CommuniTEA today: Lots of lemon powder and lemon oil scent wafting from the dry ingredients and packet. Once steeped for 5 mins at 212°F, I notice a lemon oil and slightly medicinal rooibos fragrance on the nose. When I take a sip, I detect strong lemon/lemon oil flavors with a hint of mango and rich rooibos tea to round out the pucker worthy notes. Finally a Rooibos and lemon oil lingering finish.

Dry tea smelled strongly of citrus, and some orange pieces and other fruits were noted. Once brewed, the resulting cup is a bright orange brown that still has the citrus smell. I know from my experience that green rooibos tends to be very mild in flavor, and this tea is no exception. When hot, the zesty citrus is in the forefront. When warm, the citrus continues, but is still very mild. Adding a bit of sweetener helps to brighten the flavors, and I start to get the 'fruit loops' taste from the tea, with some of the apricot and mango flavors coming through. The sweetness carries into the finish, wheresome of the green rooibos sweet notes come through. It is a nice mildly sweet tea with the mild green rooibos as the base. The tea also tastes like it would do well iced, although it would probably need a higher tea to water ratio for a stronger taste. Brewed at 212 for 5 minutes.
