The way I swoon over this tea every time I make a cup - it's perfectly spiced, the almond isn't too powerful but rather uplifts the cardamom, and it's soothing especially for rainy day type of situations. I went in fully blind on this one hoping it'd turn out great, but it turned out even better for sure!

This tea was okay, but I wouldn't buy it again. It had a strange aftertaste that was a little bitter. It might be better sweetened.
I've purchased this a few times, and it still makes an excellent cup. Walks the fine balance of sweet but not too sweet. My favorite desert tea from Adagio.
UPDATE: killer dessert tea with such a yummy flavor, but still subtle enough not to overwhelm. Highly recommended for sweet desert tea lovers!
This is a fantastic dessert tea! Goes very nicely with a dash of cream and is very much sugar optional. The first thing that stands out to me while drinking is a very nice blend of rooibos and cardamom, then on the backend there's a pop of almond. If you got a little sweet tooth before bed time, this is one is perfect!
This is a bold, cardamom and almond flavor! So good. if you want bold flavor this is the tea for you!

This does not smell good nor taste good. I will try again. I put honey in it I think the Red roiboos ruined it for me. I taste no Almond nor Cardamom.
When I first found this tea in my advent calendar, I was a little wary, as I usually don't enjoy almond flavored things, but this tea completely turned my expectations around! The almond flavor isn't overpowering, and the tea overall has a very smooth and pleasant taste.
A wonderful evening cup of tea! To like dessert in a cup. I always have it with honey and milk or half and half. If it's allowed to steep for too long, the roibos can become a bit strong, but I do like my tea strong so that's not always a bad thing
Not a strong almond flavor. Wish there was a version of this in black tea. The rooibos is a strange combination.
I really like rooibos tea for both its flavor and lack of caffeine. This tea improves on the standard rooibos by adding cardomom to the mix and is delicious.
The almond smells amazing but I don't love the taste of rooibos and it tasted somewhat metallic to me.
I really like the unique flavor of this tea. Think roasted almonds, cardamom, & a touch of cinnamon. While it's naturally sweet on its own, I usually add about half of a teaspoon of stevia and that really wakes up the aforementioned flavors. This goes great with a slice of apple pie!
The almond cardamom cake tea is a wonderful change of pace. It has a delightful dessert like quality with the amaretto and cardamom flavors front and center with some creamy notes at the end. Such a yummy treat!

EDITED REVIEW-- my previous negative review was due to me unknowingly having a disease that messed with my stomach/sense of taste. Now that I'm trying this again later, it is really good, and did not cause any stomach upset!
This tea surprised me. I enjoyed it and liked it best sweetened. The aroma of the dry tea was very woody with a hint of almond and cinnamon scent. The tea when brewed was dark orange in color and had much the same aroma as the dry tea with a flavor following suit. A sweetener add of agave made all the difference. Sweetening softened the woody taste and brought more of the almond and chocolate flavors forward. The cinnamon and cardamom spices were mild and more background flavors adding a pleasant tangy boost to the cocoa nibs and nutty taste.
The resteep was very good with the woody taste much milder and the almond and chocolate flavors taking center stage. I found this caffeine free sip to be a nice experience and would enjoy it occasionally. For true rooibos fans, though, this is a good one to try if you like an earthy chocolate almond flavor with a touch of spice.
My CT packet had 3 grams of tea with all ingredients including just one cardamom pod and a few cinnamon bits so not too spicy. Brewed 10 oz. at 212*F for 5 min. and resteeped 6 oz. for 7 min.
CommuniTEA Sample: Not normally a Rooibos fan, but this is a very good one. The cinnamon and almond make this a rich, decadent dessert tea.

Wow this really tastes like cake somehow not just like almond and cardamom. Helping me get through Yom Kippur fast-ish (yes I do coffee and tea and even a little honey in this one). Really good.
This tea has an amazing group of ingredients. There are two cardamom pods that plumb up after steeping. The tea is so full bodied and rich, like biting into heavy bread. The red rooibos makes a good base for all the spices. Adding ¼ teaspoon of sweetener helps turn this into a taste like a delicious cake dessert. Best part is this is caffeine free. (5 mins @ 212ªF + sweetener).
Yes, it's rooibos... but I dont even mind! The almond and cardamom seem to balance out the tea into a well rounded dessert flavor that is fun and tasty!
This is a tasty, unique, caffeine free tea that I added a little sourwood honey to. It brings out the flavors nicely and as it cools, you can really enjoy the wonderful blend of almond and cardamom. I really love the taste of cardamom, so I use 2 spoons to break each pod open before steeping. Delicious! I steeped at 212 degrees for almost 10 minutes
Brilliantly delicious. Love this blend of flavors. Comforting, yet with some spark to it too. And a bargain, price-wise! Mixed mine with milk.
If you like cardamom this is the tea for you. It stands up on its own unsweetened, but it a real treat with maple syrup and cream. I love the versatility and am happy to see sonething other than cinnamon in a spiced tea.
I ordered it because I was curious about the toasted almond flavor, but cardamom is too strong for me.
But that doesn't mean this product isn't good. It's just not familiar to me because I living in a culture that doesn't consume cardamom.

Very spicy and indulgent tea that pairs excellently with a carrot cake. The flavor hits you hard and its a perfect pick me up in the afternoon.

There's just not much to this? It tastes like cardamom, certainly, and maybe a little bit of almond flavor, but I'm not sure it works as a blend.
I don't know what happened, but I LOVED the sample of this stuff that I received in the summer, so I ordered a full bag. The bag tastes and smells like artificial almond extract. Not nearly as good as the sample. Did the formula change?
I love this tea! Rooibos almond is one of my favorites, and I wondered if this flavor might be too similar, but it's really not. The cardamom, cocoa, and cinnamon really blend well with the almond flavor and it tastes remarkably cake-like.
There's an odd tartness in this tea that I find less appealing. The cardamom and almond flavors aren't as strong as I expected. It's more or less pleasurable to drink but I won't be ordering again.

If you love almond and cardamom, this is your cake. The cardamom is forward, but doesn't overpower the almond and the smell is quite possible the best thing ever. I made one cup of this and immediately bought more. This is my favorite comfort tea and feels like a warm blanket. I find most 'cozy' teas too blah and am not a fan of vanilla and a jumble of spices, so I was looking for something that was a little more specific and this was perfect. The cinnamon and cocoa nibs aren't really noticeable, but help round out the flavor.
