Kinda werid blend for me. Like a tropical chai--I liked it enough to get again, but it's just shy of being overly artificial.
Juicy papaya fruit flavor, liveliness rose hips, and soft coconut touch with pu erh for an exotic delight.

Kinda werid blend for me. Like a tropical chai--I liked it enough to get again, but it's just shy of being overly artificial.
The fruit really overpowers the tea flavor itself, which defeats the purpose for me. Probably a great tea for kids, though--there's a natural sweetness from the fruit, and it brews quickly. I think I may try the rest of my sample as iced tea and see if it fares better.
I like adagio's pu erh teas. I think I love their chorange best, but this one is interesting and delicious. It's sweet and nutty.
Probably one of the tastiest teas I've had so far from Adagio. The earthy tones of the pu-erh combine really well with the tropical undertones. Keep in mind the pu-erh taste does overpower the tropical flavors so if you don't like the traditional taste of pu-erh you might want to skip this one. Overall quite happy with this and would definitely take another cup!
Such an earthy tea...I highly recommend this one to anyone looking for a deep, rich and earthy taste...it's my go-to tea on the regular basis now.
I like this tea when I want something a bit fruity, but not sweet. It is mild, but still tasty.
This tea is flavored well and has an assertive taste. It's a bit exotic without being overwhelming.
Coconut and other fruit flavors pair wonderfully with the pu erh tea. We drank this bag so quickly! It was even better with milk and honey.
Very interesting blend and I have iced this for summer. With the coconut and papaya sweetness, I find it is a refreshing tea. Not bitter.
The flavor is nice, but not spectacular. It can have a bit of a bitter nuance if not timed perfectly.
I just can't seem to figure out how to brew the perfect cup of pu erh. Although I enjoy the coconut and tropical notes, the tea itself is a little too 'muddy' tasting until the third brewing or so.
I was a little disappointed with the lack of coconut flavor. Overall this is a pretty good tea, just don't expect a ton of the tropical flavors.
A good alternative for tea drinkers, it has a distinctive flavor all of its own. Better yet, no caffeine if you are looking for a late night drink. It is also good as a cold drink.
Works really well with the earthy pu erh. Makes this tolerable and an enjoyable experience.
I love the coconut flavor. This tea has great health benefits, so it taste good and does your body good all at once!
I never had heard of pu erh, but I love this blend. Pu erh is definitely an acquired taste compared to other teas but I love this blend!
Didn't quite got the idea of this tea, however I am not disappointed we've tried.
This had a great taste. Much better hot than cooled and refrigerated.
Not my favorite pu erh, but this is definately an improvement to the 'pina colada' trope. Mango is much better than pineapple would have been.
This tea was excellent. Totally enjoyed the coconut flavor in this
This is an interesting tea unlike any I've had before. It's the first of the pu erhs I have tried. It has a very natural flavor to it with a hint of a smokiness that piques my taste buds. It is great hot or even after you've forgotten about it for two hours and cold. And with optimal temp being boiling, it is easy to steep appropriately even without a variable temperature kettle.
In short, I would tell people to try this.
This has a really tropical taste that I don't really enjoy in tea, but if you're looking for a lot of fruity flavor, this won't disappoint you. The coconut flavor in this is the most noticeable.
Still trying to find a pu erh I like - this wasn't it - however, pu erh lovers would probably find it just right for them. I'm sticking with rooibos/oolong/green teas - and Adagio offers so many delicious varieties that I won't miss the pu erh.
This tea had a great tropical taste. The notes of coconut were perfectly balanced with the papaya.
Tangy black tea that goes well as an after-dinner drink. The aroma is pleasant and invites relaxation.
This a good tea. I prefer the pu erh hazzleberry.
I tried this tea black, and it smells/taste like medicine and stinky feet.lol With milk and sweetner, it smells and taste incredible. The creamy coconut stand out with the pu erh , but the mango, papaya are more in the background.
This is the first time I've try Pu Erh tea and it won't be the last. I'm not sure what it it is about this tea, but I love it!
I like to drink this during the cold, winter months and pretend I'm somewhere warm. makes a good iced tea in the summer, too, though.
Tea was ok, didn't blow my mind... Has an artificial aftertaste that I didn't like.
Made me feel like I was on the island. The flavors just take you away.
This tea was... a bit underwhelming personally. It smelled BEAUTIFUL when I opened the bag and while steeping, but I think it could have been more flavourful. I did enjoy it and will drink it again, but I was a little let down and am not sure if I'd order this again.
This was a very nice tasting tea with a coco-nut taste. I liked it a lot!!
Although I didn't enjoy the tropical flavors as much as the hazelberry (as others have mentioned, I don't think the combination blended as well), it was nice enough. I'm glad I could still get a hint of the earthiness I've come to love from pu erhs. Probably won't purchase again, but I'm glad I tried it!
I really do like this tea, but it is a very intense flavor, so I can't do it as often as some of my other favorites. I think I will try it as an iced tea, it might be great like that!
Sold! After buying the sample size I am definitely reordering this on a monthly basis. I can't get enough of the awesome island flavors in this tea.
The tropical flavor doesn't blend as well with the pu erh tea as I'd hoped. It's still a great tea, but it has the tea flavor and the fruity flavor that just seem to separate a bit in a way that is off.
Pu-erh Tahiti was great. I love the island flavors.
A pleasant black tea that takes you to the islands.. Nice flavor..
Not bad, but not what I was expecting. Much brighter and fruitier in flavor than the other flavored pu erh teas. There was no discernible flavor from the pu erh which was disappointing, as I really enjoy the earthy flavor of this tea. More of an herbal tea than a black tea.
I love this one. Smells and tastes amazing. I think it's the coconut flavor that got me :)
No taste and very dry flavor. tastes nothing like coconut like it said it would. the description they give for it don't even match.
Lovely flavor. Very refreshing, would order again and will.
Chose this on a whim! It's one of our new favorites! Love the hint of coconut.
I loved the floral notes of this tea. A great start to a gray morning.
This tea did not taste like I would have thought. It did not have much of a taste at all but the hint of the taste that was there was not very delightful. I might try again with another tea added like coconut or almond
First off, let me say that I LOVE coconut. I like it iced and it is a perfect treat if I am craving something sweet. It tastes like a Bahama Buck's blue coconut shaved ice! (Just 10x less sugar...) I can see how the flavors become too overpowering so it has become my snack tea to fight the afternoon sugar cravings. Plus, the caffeine level is a nice pick-me-up.
Not for me. The coconut flavor was too strong and I felt like I had taken a swig of tanning lotion. If you realllly love coconut that would be a great tea for you
has nice subtle tropical flavors. I still like the chorange better though.
Opening the container starts the wonderful experience, then the taste is out of this world.
