My all time favorite pu erh adagio offers. Really like the coconut
LOVED IT!!!
Enjoying my first pu erh, have only brewed hot,,will try cold when it warms up
Wow. This tea is a delight. Close your eyes while you sip on a cup of this and you will instantly be taken to a white sandy beach with the warm sun on your body while you listen to the crashing waves. Instant Vacay!
This was my first pu erh. It smelled really buttery and tasted just as buttery. I couldn't finish it at breakfast. I may try a cup at lunch, once I'm completely awake.
I got this as a sample and will definitely buy some more. For those who don't care for the earthy-ness of Dante, or the stable smells of Poe should love this one! I LOVE the tropical taste - fruity. A wee bit of honey or stevia and you'll have a wonderful treat. I prefer to steep mine a little longer for a richer cup of tea. I can't wait to try more of the flavored pu erh!
UPDATE: This is quickly becoming a big favorite. I'm not usually into flavored teas, but Tahiti is FAB! I actually mix it with some Pu Erh Poe or Dante for a super rich cu of tea. LOVE!
I love the earthy flavor and the fruitiness but the coconut flavor can get a little overpowering.
Big fan of this tea. Ohh the tea refreshes the mind. Perfect for afternoon tea!
Odd spice combo ... I've tried it twice and passed it on to friends to try.
While trying this tea I learned I DO NOT like pu erh teas. They remind me of vomit, so if you have never had a pu erh before, try the sample first! I am glad I did, because it turned out I had to give away the sample, nobody in my house liked.
Unexplainably, one of the best tastes in tea I've tried so far. I've tried it with some Mango Green and Foxtrot, both were succesful, but the pu erh gets the spotlight. It has a unique taste profile, very rich, very soothing, very bold start, clean finish. I like it.
I was rather disappointed in this tea. The coconut or something in this give is a plastic or off putting flavor. I couldn't finish the one cup I brewed.
I started out with pu erh hazelberry, so I thought I'd try this version. Every bit as good as the first, which I loved.
This was good for those who like to add fruitiness to their teas. I don't normally do that but this one was good.
This tea was just ok. It taste like any average tea but had an aftertaste
A little stronger than I usually like but that just makes it even more amazing!
This tea was very interesting. Definitely not a tea that I have tasted before.
This is my favorite pu erh currently, I just love the taste. It is exactly what you expect from a tea referencing tahiti and it just hits the spot. I would definitely say try this with some coconut macaroons, if you like coconut.
This is amazing. Normally, I shy away from the 'exotic, tropical' teas because they tend to have 'flavor' added rather than the actual plant piece itself. I was slightly skeptical about the 'natural coconut flavor' but this is a nicely balanced tea that can be mildly sweetened or left unsweetened. The center of the flavor wheel is sweet, juicy apple. the mango, papaya and coconut are the spokes. It's almost a bit hibiscus-like, too. Highly recommend.
This tea was really smooth and mellow. I really liked it!
I really enjoy this. The pu erh is great and the coconut adds nice aroma.
Not too strong of a flavor, a bit bland but tastes great
Smooth but tasty. Wasn't sure if I was going like but I really did!
Pu with a tropical flair. Who would have thought? It works though, and works well. The coconut and tropical fruit notes bring out the ripe Pu flavors.
I was unsure of what to expect but loved this tea!
I totally love Pu Erh tea but I wasn't a big fan of this one at first. I thought it was sort of weak compared to the others in the sample pack (Hazelberry, Chorange and Spice) but after continuing to drink it, I have grown to love it a lot! It has a little less kick than the others but sometimes that is just what I am in the mood for!
This tea is so smooth and pleasant, it almost makes me not want to try any other tea.
This might be my new favorite! I haven't ordered in a while and was excited to see new flavors and this one is great!
Nice earthy coconut flavor. Like the black sands in hawaii. This will take you on vacation!
This was a welcomed new one to try! Everyone at the office loved this one! We like trying new teas and it's fun to see what others think!
This wasn't my favorite by a long shot. The smell in the bag reminded me of the hangover after a rough night of Blue Hawaiians. It smelled plastic-y after brewing. As you can imagine I had reservations about actually tasting it. I give it a solid OK. While the smell leaves much to be desired, the initial taste is a creamy coconut. I could have handled that on its own but there's also a bit of mango and papaya at the finish that takes you right back to Blue Hawaiian night. This isn't something I would keep in my tea stash though could very well be enjoyed by those that like tropical fruit.
As a fan of tropical stuff and pu erh tea, I fell in love at first sip.
I'm new to pu erh, and I think I'm hooked. On this one at least. Really smooth finish, very interesting smell. Give a shot if you're on the fence on pu erh blends.
Good to blend with other teas, has a wonderful scent.
I bought this tea for my boyfriend, because he really likes pu erh teas. He really likes it because it has a light coconut/tropical smell and taste to it. He also likes it because since it's aged, if you steep it too long it doesn't taste oversteeped like a typical black tea. If you're experienced with pu erh teas, I'm not sure how helpful this review was. If you're new to pu erhs like we are, I think it's my favorite type of pu erh, and it's worth trying out.
This is a nice tea, perfectly serviceable. That said, it's not my favorite of the pu erh teas, just because I don't think the flavors blend as well as they do in the hazelberry or the chorange.
One of my favorites. I will always make sure I have some in my cupboard.
I'm new to pu-erh teas and have to say that I'm becoming addicted! Bought the sample pack, the Chorange is absolutely my favorite with hazelberry coming in a close 2nd. Funny thing is that the 1st time I tried the tahiti blend, I was a little unsure thinking perhaps this would be the one I really didn't prefer. although, after a few weeks I decided to try and finish the sample of the tahiti, I then had 3 cups back to back, couldn't seem to get enough, perhaps my tastebuds have become so used to the pu-erh that I can now appreciate the other flavors. I'm back to buy a 3oz size bag! This has a wonderful flavor, nice when you want something a little different. Have to say this was a hit for me!
Smooth flavor profile, nice aroma coconutty like flavor lingering in background of ripe fruit. I can drink this a few times a day and not get tired.
It has a peculiar flavor I can't pinpoint. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't for me.
Unique and tasty. I had never tried this variety before but I really enjoyed it.
But as far as this pu erh fusion goes, it was whatever. Tasted like a washed down coconut.
Eh, this is nothing special. I much prefer the chocorange pu erh personally
I don't particularly care for this tea, it's not bad, but as far as tea with coconut in them this is my least favorite.
A good tropical tea, but not my favorite blends with flavors of the South Pacific.
I tried (and loved) pu erh hazelberry, so I knew I wanted to try another pu erh tea. This one was definitely not bad, but I had such high expectations from the hazelberry that it fell short just a bit. It's still a really good tea, I just (possibly unfairly) compared it to another, which is why I didn't enjoy it quite as much as I had hoped. If you're interested in this one I do suggest it though.
I really did not enjoy this tea the first time I brewed it, (it tasted like slightly dirty water...not much flavor and what flavor there was was not enjoyable) but I figured I had to give it a second chance. I steeped it a little longer the second time and it was not as bad, still, I felt like the flavors were just not in balance at all. The tastes that shine through most are lemongrass, white pepper, and spicy cinnamon. If you like a really really light, spicy lemongrass tea then you might enjoy this but I for one did not.
New to pu-erh's, and gotta say I loved this! Got it as a sampler with my order and I will order again!
I wish the coconut flavor was slightly stronger. Otherwise it is good but the flavors overall don't quite make me think of thahiti the way I thought they would.
I like a strong black tea for mornings, but this would be great for relaxing with a book or an afternoon tea. It reminds me of an Oolong tea. Good flavor, medium body. I would recommend.
