I mixed this with Black ceylon, and it was good, strong combo. Next I'll try it with coconut.
Juicy papaya fruit flavor, liveliness rose hips, and soft coconut touch with pu erh for an exotic delight.

I mixed this with Black ceylon, and it was good, strong combo. Next I'll try it with coconut.
Not my favorite, was a little disappointed in the taste, will have to try again.
If you like tropically blended flavors, this is a must-try.
This has an absolutely vile, acidic, bile-like smell. Which is really unfortunately since we usually enjoy the fragrance of tea first. The flavor of the tea is not nearly as bad as the smell, but it is not a tea I'm going to be purchasing in future. Puerh is one of my favorite teas. It has a naturally earthy kind of flavor that pairs well with florals. I'd never had it as a blend with fruit flavors, and now I know why.
Of all of adagio's pu erh teas, this one is my least favorite. A little too much fruity flavor for me.
I like this tea - the coconut gives the earthiness of the Pu Erh a nice, refreshing edge. There's a slightly sweet edge to the flavor that might come from the apple or mango pieces, but mostly it's Pu Erh earthiness and coconut. I described it to my dad as what a Mounds bar might taste like if it weren't filled to the brim with sugar.
I originally tried this via the Pu Erh sampler. I liked it, but not quite as much as the Pu Erh Hazelberry, so I made the Hazelberry my Pu Erh staple. While reordering some teas, I decided to get more of Pu Erh Tahiti and remembered why I didn't like it quite as much as the Hazelberry: it doesn't brew quite as dark, and it doesn't rebrew as well. Second infusions are noticeably weaker (but still worth drinking), whereas the first and second infusion of the Hazelberry are so dark I can't see the bottom of my mug.
Still, this is a very nice flavored Pu Erh, and I'm glad I got more. It's good to be able to alternate between this and the Hazelberry from time to time.
I did not care for the coconut taste. Reminded me of malibu rum.
Good tea! A lot of flavor to it. Make sure to follow directions.
one of my favorites in the morning and afternoon time
Very good! Very good! Very good! Very good! Very good! Very good! Very good! Very good! Very good!
This wasn't the tea for me. It had too much coconut and it made my mouth taste like it was numb.
This was my first pu erh tea and I LOVED it! So fruity and smooth
I didn't know what to expect with this type of tea never having it before, and not being a fan of darker teas in general, but this is very different, and not like black tea at all. Unfortunately, I'm sensitive to it.
I really like the fruit flavor with the earthy flavor that pu erh already has.
I purchased this for my mother along with a few other pu erh teas. She loves it and it is now one of her favorite teas.
Good tropical flavor, though the smell is a little too sweet for my taste.
Has a different taste than what I was expecting. Really enjoyed it, though
So I discovered that I really dislike pu erh tea. I think it must be a very acquired taste, and I just can't. I didn't like the way it smelled once it was steeped and the flavor was worse than the smell. I'm sure if you like this type of tea, there's no reason you wouldn't like this blend. But it's definitely not for me!
Was an okay tea. Didn't hate it, didn't love it. Drinkable.
This tea description sounds excellent, however it was just the opposite. The smell was terrible, the closest thing I can relate it to is the scent of crayon. And the flavor isn't any better. I imagined this being a topical escape and it failed. Thank goodness I only bought a sample!
Good tea. You can almost taste the island of Tahiti.
not bad! I just wanted to try this but I think I'll stick with my green teas
I drink this daily in the morning and again after lunch love love the tropical flavor if this tea!
I loved the hazelberry and spice blends. This had a bland, barely there taste.
The combination of flavors makes for a refreshing early morning tea. Not only does it wake me up, but it does so deliciously. The tropical odor profile is really lovely both in smelling it out of the tin and in smelling it brewed. It really cheers me up! I would most certainly recommend this tea, but because it is black tea, I always add a pinch of licorice root to sweeten it up.
Upon opening the package, I was greeted by a bouquet reminiscent of a tropical paradise. This is my first experience with pu erh, and it most certainly will not be my last. I am an earl grey lover and this is a delightful change of pace with subtle sweet notes in a deep and complex black tea.
First of all, because this is a Pu Erh, I was a little skeptical of the steeping times suggested. I steeped mine for two minutes and it came out a lovely dark golden brown with plenty of flavor. I guess I'll try steeping it longer some other time just to see if that makes it 'too strong' for me. It's a great tea, and I can definitely taste the Pu Erh even through the super-strong fruit flavor (I'm not sure if it's mango or papaya that I'm tasting, because they're both in there). Update: Yeah, this is one of my favorite teas now.
I was really excited to try this one. I Love tropical coconutty things. I was kind of dissapointed with this one. When I first received it, it smelled weird to me. I figured after I steep it and add stuff to it, it would taste better. Also other reviewers had mentioned that was the case. Well, I steeped it and added milk and honey like suggested and it just wasn't my cup of tea. While nothing is wrong with this tea, i simply am not a fan. It definitely has an earthy flavor almost smoky. Not quite sure what part of it I didn't like. This is my first time trying pu erh tea so not sure if that was it or if it was one of the flavors.
I wanted to love it but the coconut tastes like soap to me
I brewed this twice. Once for 5 minutes @ 212 degrees and the other time, I boiled it for 15 minutes. I preferred the latter method as it too away the earthiness but I'm afraid I still do not like this tea.
A GOOD TEA BUT A LITTLE TOO MUCH COCONUT FLAVOR IN IT.
The flavoring is almost like plumeria flowers, and would probably be even better iced!
One of my favorite teas, I love the coconut and other tropical flavors.
Not quite as smoky and savory as I would have liked. I added a little more plain pu erh to the mix, and it was great.
I think I'm not a huge fan of fruity teas, but I do like this tea anyway. It has the smoothness of pu erh that I really love.
Good tea as all of your teas are. Always a pleasure.
One of my favorite teas! Great flavor and smells phenomenal!
This is the first pu-erh I've actually liked. It's nice and fruity, balanced by a creamy/coconutty note.
this is not my cup of tea i don't know what flavor was off but i will not be getting this again.
Not a fan, but then I seem to prefer the black teas so I will stick with those. You may like this. I didnt.
Enjoyed this tea and the light tropical flavor. I will order again.
I love the way the coconut and fruity notes blend with the richness of the pu erh.
This tea is delicious! It's smooth yet a bold flavor. A new favorite!
Update: This continues to be a favorite in my house and every time I have served it to guests, they love it!
I loved the smell, like tropical earth, and the taste was just a nice.
Yuck , these favors do not pair week together, it smells awesome but is deceiving.
This is my least favorite of the three flavored pu erhs. It's sort of strange going down. The major flavor for me is the coconut, but there's other things going on in the background that are much less pleasant. And after you drink it, a strong coconut flavor lingers in your mouth for a long time.
nice flavor but a little too earthy for my taste.
I LOVE this tea. The pu erh's are like the malbecs of teas. It's incredible. There's a substance to it and when you add a little bit of honey, my goodness, it's almost a buttery richness that I cannot stop eating. I have stocked up on the large bags of this one, that's for sure!
Good tea, unique flavor. Nothing too astringent or bitter. I genuinely enjoy this tea and reorder it each time I place an order. It's not my favorite tea, but it's a nice 'something different'.
TAHITI is a magical place (and this is a magical tea) .)
