Im amazed at how good this is. Im not a fan of spice teas, but this has a sweet spice that the boldness of the pu erh compliments. Theres no burning clove spiciness, only sweet.

I love the smooth texture of this tea. I don't love that it tastes a lot like chai since that's not really my thing but this almost feels less harsh than chai so it's not so jarring for me. Smells lovely too!

Only slightly spicy flavor to me. I like my spicy teas to be very spicy so this fell a little short for me.would be good for someone who likes spice, but not too much.

Spice adds some nice top end falvor to the Pu Erh base. Ginger is particularly present, which adds a pleasant dryness. Still taste the Pu Erh, good autumn blend

It is different from any other tea, but once you get used to it, it is one of the best tea. It is easy to make perfect tea when you have velociTEA.

Love this tea. I lean more towards spice teas and this one is perfect <3

★★★★★

You can taste the spice! This tea has a wonderful aroma and enough caffeine to get you through the day.

★★★★★

This is one of my favorite morning teas. I don't have to add anything to it and it tastes wonderful.

I found it better to use extra leaves and steep for about 20 seconds then throw that water out, and steep for 3 minutes. Event then it just tasted like Christmas decorations smell. It's not horrible but I feel like there's a lot better chai like spice teas out there. This is the only pu erh I've tried though so that might play into my review.

Excellent Pu-Erh tea with a very good blend of spices that compliment it well. In fact, the spices were a bit too prominent for me. However, this was easily remedied by using half this tea and half Pu-Erh Dante.

now this may be because I apparently am not the biggest fan of Pu-Erh blends it seems, it did have chai like flavors but Pu-Erh was a bit strong for my personal tastes...if you like Pu-Erh and Chai though.. .you would probably like this.

Earthy and a little bit bitter, fermentation just not right for me.

It's like a orangey chai, this could definitely be a part of my regular tea rotaion.

★★★★☆

very nice smooth tea with the good hint of the spices to add to the depth of the tea. Found you only need a quick steep time

I'm in love with this tea! It tastes a lot like chai, but with the amazing pu-erh base as opposed to the usual black tea... It was divine! I'd say I actually like this better than a standard chai. I usually make a 16 oz drink with 5g of tea, sweetened with stevia, and add two tbsp of half-and-half for the creamy chai latte taste without having to make a concentrate. Will be repurchasing!

Classic spiced flavor, great for fall or winter. Honestly though, I drink this even in the spring/summer when I am having a bad day, because it reminds me of the holidays! :) Tea itself is good quality and the spice flavor is strong without being too much.

★★★★☆

The earthy pureh dominates the flavor of the tea. A little too strong for me.

Almost a light chai. I used this to make iced tea and enjoyed it a lot that way.

Great intro to pu-erh teas! Taste is super-rich and not too much!

Ordered this for my licorice obsessed dad who is supposed to start drinking tea for health reasons. He loves it, there weren't even jokes about tasting like tree bark or grass the first time he had it!

Loved this tea, not too strong nor to weak in flavor.

★★★★★

Reminds me of a spice chai tea. Good flavor. First time I have ever tried pu erh tea. This has become one of my favorite teas.

★★★★★

I really liked this tea! I drink a lot of chai, and I like a nice pu-erh as well, so I decided to try this. Doesn't really taste like a chai. The spice is noticeable but not overpowering, and balances the earthyness of the pu-erh beautifully. It's a very smooth tea. The second infusion is still strong, with more flavor of the pu-erh coming in front of the spice. Great option if you're new to pu-erh!

Decent amount of herbal spiciness without going overboard. Cuts through the earthy brothy tea flavor well.

I liked this tea to make spice tea lattes instead of the chai mix by the main chain brand. My husband says the cinnamon flavor is a little too strong for him, but i disagree. Mild & less spicy version of a chai, in my opinion.

I really love this one!! It mixes traditional Puerh with warm spices!!! Yes yes yes

Not a huge fan, as the spice really seemed to overwhelm the Pu-erh. However, if you really enjoy the spices in this tea, then you would probably really like it.

★★★★★

I love black tea but this one has to be my favorite! Nothing needs to be added

My first experience with this kind of tea. I'm usually hesitant with teas that are flavored with ginger and cinnamon because it's usually over-spiced. This is actually THE perfect balance of earthy tea flavor and spicy cinnamon and anise. Not quite my favorite tea out there that is like this, but I will definitely be buying it again!

This one was strange for me. I didn t really get a lot of pu-erh signature taste, but I still really liked it! It didn t have any cloves, which I was actually grateful for, and the licorice-like flavor of the aniseed wasn t overpowering and mixed well with the cinnamon and orange. Definitely sweet and not stringent in the slightest.

This is my first time ever to taste a pu-erh tea. This Pu-Erh Spice is very nice. Get it? Spice is Nice. :D Seriously though, the spices are not overpowering and there is a good balance to them. The flavors dance around on your palate after your sip. The pu-erh seems to be more delicate than other black teas I've tried, and the hint of anise makes this an enjoyable winter warmer. Next time I will brew a stronger cup.

A very good tea, the spice can be slightly overwhelming but overall a great tea for fans of Pu-Erh

★★★★☆

This was very earthy, which is my favorite tea flavor. It didn't really have any 'spice' that I could taste, though.

★★★★☆

This was definitely a delightful and spicy cup of tea and it was fairly strong, which I like but the anise was a bit much for me. Not saying it wasn't good, I'm just not a huge fan of this particular flavor. This is my first Pu-Erh so I'm not familiar with that flavor profile. I will try another one, for sure. Nice and warming on a cool day.

Sometimes I like spice, especially in winter, by a fire. Opening the bag I was overpowered, sort of smelled like curry. But I m brave about tea so I figured I d brew some. I tried at least 3 cups in different ways, without milk (but with sugar) and vice versa, plain, made in cup, made in teapot...
It s just a miss for me.
