I have learned from experience I need a touch of milk or cream with cinnamon as an ingredient, so I went into this with 212F for 5 min loose. It’s a nice blend, nothing too prominent, though I do have a head cold so I could be missing subtleties.

I love all of the 'spiced' tea entries. They remind me of Constant Comment, but better. Although, I do appreciate the spiced green more.

As I opened the packet the orange is what I smelled first, as I started to sip, the cinnamon took over, could also detect the anise but no ginger to speak of. Overall a delicious hot cup of tea.

I am not yet a pu-erh fan. This was the first time I detected the ‘fishy’ element in the brewed tea smell, and I love spice but the cinnamon and ginger didn’t cover the oddness of the flavor. Pouring it out and having Raja oolong chai instead.

A really lovely spice tea! Not as powerfully spicy as a chai, but with good depth of sweet cinnamon and other mingled flavors. Very fall, very Christmas. If you're looking for a spice-forward tea that's lower intensity than a chai but still has a very present spice flavor, this one's for you.

A great fall/winter blend, spice heavy but not overwhelming.

This is a lovely complex blend. It has a smooth and earthy base of pu-erh enhanced with a touch of warmth and sweetness from the cinnamon, anise, ginger, and orange. These spices complement the pu-erh tea well, creating a balanced and harmonious cup. The tea also has a hint of chocolate, which adds some richness and decadence. This tea is perfect for a chilly day, or anytime you need a cozy and comforting drink. (5 min @ 200°F)

I can smell the pu erh and spice. I added sugar, but not sure it change anything. I think a splash of orange juice would be nice in it.

A smooth spiced pu-erh, no bitterness. Fan of pu-erh teas. Spice not overpowering. Delicious!

I think this might become my favorite spice tea. The splces are nicely blended with none overpowering the rest and topped off with a touch of orange. This is now on my wishlist.

I’ve sampled this tea through my community tea membership and it’s just not for me. Personally I don’t prefer most pu-erh tea. It’s just not my cup of tea.

PuErh's are such a fav go-to for me. Earthyness of PuErh with Spice, is real nice. Mighty fine as a stand alone tea or is a blend..😋..& I like to add a little creamer to the P-Spice. 🍵🥛♨️

A mighty fine pu-erh of cinnamon and ginger. The spices blanket the earthiness of the tea, and mellow it out at the same time. I like using it in blends, but it's definitely delicious on its own.

It's a very good chai, with many flavors blending together; I just wish the pu-erh flavor were a little stronger.

A nice pu-erh! I ordered this after having the pu-erh sampler box. What surprises me is how it still has spice flavor on the resteeps.

This tea is perfect in every way! It's smooth and has the most delicious pumpkin spice flavor. I love having this in addition to the Pumpkin Spice Black tea all year round.

A very 'must try' tea that is great for fall. Earthy and comforting mellow spice without bitterness. Enjoy!

I loved the aroma of this tea. It smelled like warm spice cake just out of the oven. The taste of it was just moderately spicy of cinnamon and ginger and a hint of orange. This was an enjoyable pu-erh and it made my upset belly feel good too.

This tea was alright. More of a spice-flavor for me than the Decaf Chai, but was missing something and I'm not sure exactly what. Maybe a level of underlying sweetness? Anyways - it was fine, but nothing special for me and I don't think I'll order again.

★★★★☆

This is a nice tea. Extremely smooth. I could get orange off the nose but the flavor is dominated by clove. It's not extremely over powering, but if you love clove, you'll love this tea.

This tea is wonderfully warm with spices that comfort and soothe the soul. It's especially welcome to receive on an unseasonably cool day.

This is Adagio's standard pu-erh tea with a very strong cinnamon-spice flavor added. The spice aroma is exactly that potpourri scent which permeates craft stores. I kind of like it, but it's also a little off-putting because of how 'industrial-strength' it is, and I'm also not sure that it really works with the earthiness of the pu-erh.

I love this flavored tea. The spices go so well with the Pu-erh tea and really compliment it into a great cup that still holds it's flavor with multiple steeps.

This is my first pu-erh tea and it has an awesome sweet and spiced aroma right out of the bag. Flavor is good and is not at all fishy or temperamental to make

I absolutely adore this tea! I'm a fan of both pu-erh and spice teas and to bring them together is fantastic. The earthy cinnamon/ginger with subtle anise is perfection either plain or with cream and sweetener. A very versatile tea

This is the first pu-erh tea I've actually used in my gaiwan, so my steeping instructions will be different from most folks. I got over six steeps from a very small amount- maybe half a teaspoon?- in my half-cup gaiwan, all at sub-boiling (approx 180-200 F), and drunk quickly. The spice is strongest in the second and third steeps, and mellows considerably after the fourth. Overall, I was very happy with this tea and cannot wait to try the other pu-erhs!

A little too much spice for me. I generally like a plain or lightly spiced tea -- so if you're seeking something with a bolder flavor, this might work for you.

I did decide that I love Pu-Erh teas but the spice is definitely front and center on this one. Please bear this in mind.

My favorite fall tea. Spicy and creamy but no one spice overwhelms. I love it with or without sweetness. I haven't tried it with creamer, but the flavors seem like they'd become dessert like with a dash of milk. Sometimes I do 3 minutes, sometimes I do 5 and you can't oversteep this

This tea had an amazing aroma when brewed. The cinnamon and ginger were front and center. The taste was pleasant - not overpowered by any spice. A nice warm cup on a cooler morning.

I wasn’t sure about this one at first. The first sip was surprisingly orangey when I was really expecting a spicy bite. The spices blended into the orange as the tea cooled. This was well balanced and a lovely morning sipper

The timing of this Communitea should be perfect as mid October is usually chilly and what is better than a spiced tea on a fall day? Instead, the day is mid 70s which I won't complain about and the tea is still lovely, even if I don't need it to chase away a chill. The earthiness of the pu-erh blends well with the mild spice flavors for a happy cuppa.

I'm no fan of pu'erh by itself; this is a wonderful blend which to me seems quite peppery in flavor. I'm enjoying it!

Normally I don’t like pu-erh because the fermentation can taste a bit fishy to me. This one tastes lovely, like a nice chai!

★★★★★

Wow, this is so smooth! No astringency here: just a mellow, warming cup of spicy goodness. While my nose notes the cinnamon the most, the orange and ginger really shine through. It has a very full-bodied mouthful with a woodsy, almost jammy aftertaste. This is good on its own, but a spoonful of honey works very nicely with the spiced fruit flavors!

This tea has a mellow spice blend against a background of earthy pu-erh with a hint of orange. The spices listed in the ingredients are all discernible, and they are in balance and not overpowering. I expected to love this tea because it's full of flavors I usually enjoy, but the spice and, orange don't go well with the pu-erh for me, so I found it just ok. With sugar I enjoyed it a bit more. 5 min @ 212

So this was delicious. Just the right amount of earthiness and wonderful spice - I think I like it better than most chais, and that's saying something.

CommuniTEA 10/10/22: A good tea to introduce people to puerh if they have never tried it before. The Musty-log-cabin-in-the-woods flavor is subtle underneath the multitude of spices. It tastes mainly of cinnamon, orange, and clove (which isn't later as an ingredients, but may be present in the spice flavoring?). I added stevia which brought the orange forward. Overall, a comforting drink for chilly afternoons or golden hour.
210°F for 5 minutes, stevia

Loved this tea, nice and spicy. Held up well for a second brew too.

Note - I don't like 99% of pu'erh teas. No matter how I have prepared them, they always have this oily, fishy [after]taste to me. If you like pu'erh, this review likely won't be of worth to you.
Otherwise, this is a blend that is drinkable [to fellow pu'erh dislikers who are willing to try it] if you dress it up with some honey and a drop of dark agave. It helps to tone down the natural sour, earthy taste and bring out the lovely blend of spices in this blend. Nice, zesty tones of cinnamon and ginger especially.

I'm not typically a pu-erh fan, but this one really hit the spot! There was plenty of spice to go around, and it was all well balanced - it's easy to get too much cinnamon in these kinds of blends, but pu-erh spice didn't disappoint. There was a pleasant earthiness to this tea, but it didn't have the distinct funk that sometimes make pu-erhs undrinkable for me. I'd happily have another cup of this one!
