I love Pu Erh, and Adagio does a very good one. The spice undertones make this a little more unique.

★★★★★

I absolutely adore spice tea and this one is incredible lightly sweetened and with milk.

★★★★★

Reminds me of two of my favorite storebought teas ever... only so much better. Has chai spices and just enough warmth to it that it's good both hot and after you forgot you made it an hour ago and went to take a sip. I'm going to try to pour it over ice and do iced tea for real.

★★★★★

I really like this spice blend, you can taste a strong cinnamon flavor with a back round note of the ginger, the orange goes through the whole pallet and is a nice after food drink

A really enjoyable robust tea with great texture. A good first cup of the day.

I drink this everyday. I prefer to drink 16 oz with 2 tsp of honey every morning, after lunch and in the afternoon when I get off work. I prefer this over the Pu Erh Chorange. This makes me feel so relaxed.

Great tea in my opinion. Love the earthy but just enough spice to make it work. Also not much you can do to mess it up, meaning you can steep a long time or a short time depends on your preference.

I love this tea! Can't stop drinking it. Highly recommend.

★★★★★

Oh my goodness! Perfect! Just perfect! I LOVE this Pu erh tea. It smells so yummy and spicy within the bag, and brewed, the spice settles down just a 'tad' if not at all. I added vanilla almond milk and sugar to see if it really would taste like a Chai tea...and it tastes BETTER than the Chai latte you get at Starbucks! Wow, now I can just stay at home and have my Chai tea, without even having Chai tea. :>

The 2nd Pu Erh tea that I've tried (after hazelberry) It is tasty. I love the aged taste of the pu erh, and the spice isn't overbearing. With a bit of sugar this tea comes together very nicely, and I could imagine drinking it at nearly any time of day.

Very happy to have experienced this pu erh flavour. My first introduction to pu erh was the hazelberry flavour. And this one does not disappoint. Was worried that the cinnamon flavour was going to be overpowering, neither were any of the other (unfamiliar to me) spices and flaours. It is SO SMOOTH!! Oh! And let me not forget to mention that this tea was brewed for 5 minutes in 212 degrees but was forgotten int eh tea pot for over 36 hours (with the tea still sitting the the brew). Decided not to waste it a day a 1/2 later when I wanted some tea and just reheated it. there was no bitterness/astringency, nothing negative. it was perfect just as if it was just brewed for only the recommended time. Could not believe it! I take my tea with no sugar/milk/etc. and yet I though of chai while enjoying this beauty.

This is excellent, especially after a meal or on a cold/rainy day. I brewed as directed on package. I have switched from coffee to tea but don't care for herbal teas. This true tea with spice is a perfect way to stop and enjoy the good things in life.

'Spice' is the key word to remember. By its self its tangy, and has a full taste. But I like mixing it to other teas that I think are dull.

★★★★★

I got this because I love all the ingredients and it does not disappoint. It is a balanced blend and no component is overpowering.

★★★★★

I was thinking that this was gonna be another chai type blend but it really isn't. The spice is more Christmas like and not the peppery kick that chais have. So this was a nice, pleasant surprise. Very soft and smooth with lots of flavor. Good with or without sweetener depending on your mood. I would order again.

This is my second pu erh, and while I liked the spices in it, I thought it had an unusual afyertaste that I didn't much care for. Other than that it reminded me of the Adagio Christmas tea

★★★★★

During my recent cold I had a lot of this and Pu Erh Chorange. When I was coughing, this tea was amazingly soothing. It is very earthy and has quite a great, spicy taste.

Usually not a fan of pu erh teas but I decided to sample this one. Smells like something you would set on the table to make the room smell like the holidays. Overall flavor is good, isn't as stong as some of the other pu erh teas but worth trying.

★★★★★

Very fragrant, with ginger and spice. Would be a perfect fall or holiday drink. I chose March but was still great .)

This quickly becoming one of my favorite teas. It is a real pick-me-up in the morning. It smells and great as it tastes.

★★★★☆

A good tasting tea that isn't terribly strong. It reminds me of the winter season.

★★★★★

Amazing black tea. Nice mellow earthy flavor with a nice but not over-powering spice flavor and hints of mellow citrus. Very forgiving to make. Not bitter at all. Just the type of thing I've come to expect from pu erh. If you like flavorful black tea then don't hesitate. As is usually the case with black tea, I take mine with sugar and milk.

I was surprised by this one. Not too earthy but very aromatic. I'll get this again.

I nice smooth alternative to other spicy teas. The pu erh blends never disappoint IMHO - leaves a nice, mellow aftertaste. :)

★★★★☆

A different style from what I normally take, but good. The spice takes a little getting used to. Goes well with a splash of milk.

★★★★☆

Not as strong as a chai, but a nice change of pace.

★★☆☆☆

In my quest to try every tea Adagio has to offer I came across this. I immediately don't like the scent. I hate black licorice and as a result I hate anise so I am already turned off to this tea. The smell carries over into the taste, especially with sugar. This is by far mt least favorite tea because of the anise. If you like black licorice though, I would highly recommend this tea.

As with most spiced teas, this one is heavy on the clove. Not a bad thing until you reach a limit with just how much clove and cinnamon you can stand in your tea. The earthen overtones of the 'pu erh' tea mask the clove just enough to give the impression that the amount of clove has been reduced at the time of it's blending. However, I am of the mind set that the flavor of the 'pu erh' tea is simply counter balancing that of the clove. This is a nice tea and will appeal to those who love this type of spice in their tea. A little sugar, a little cream and you got yourself a great winters tummy warmer. Speaking of spiced tummy warmers! A nice hot spiced wine sounds great right about now too. Steve.

This is a hearty blend of spice and earthy tones. It it really good for those times when: 'Oh my god, I am SOOO DONE!' It is well balanced, yummy with sugar or without. And it is most definitely a tea worth trying!

Love the spicy scent of this tea. It has a lovely spiced citrus taste, not too strong and not to mild.

Great on a cold day! I love this tea - very nicely spiced. A new favorite I will buy again and again.

★★★★☆

This is the best pu erh tea that I have tried. The spice flavor makes it taste pretty good.

★★★★★

I love the flavor in this one. Nice way to warm you up and comfort you in a harsh winter.

★★★★★

Great flavor, and different from anything I have tried before. I haven't tried pu erh before, and so , I thought
since I am a chai fan, that It would make since with spice.
I am truly a new pu erh fanatic, will be purchasing in the future.

★★★★★

Ever since I went to a local tea house, I've fallen in love with Pu'erh tea. This one by far is my favorite! I could drink it all day and be happy! It's such a full earthy flavor with just the right amount of spice! Well done Adagio!!

★★★★★

This tea is best described as being similar to constant comment tea but with far more depth and complexity of flavor. The tea is also far earthier than constant comment.

The scent is absolutely INCREDIBLE and while the spice is not particularly strong it's still very much noticeable in the flavor. Unfortunately there's an almost metallic taste to the tea when hot that I didn't really care for but that faded and became a little naturally sweet when it got cold so it'd make an excellent refrigerated tea.

Lovely substitute if you don't feel up to chai. Definitely suggest a touch of sugar!

★★★★☆

An interesting chai blend whose spices seem to marry well with its base puerh. A subtle note of unoffensive earthiness is apparent in each sip. Likely to be a regular staple in my cupboard.

The smell in the bag is enchanting, but unfortunately the flavor isn't as strong. This tea is pleasantly smooth and sweet, but I wished for more spice. It could be stronger without overwhelming the pu erh.

I particularly enjoyed this when I added a spoonful of honeybush orange to it.

A very smooth, yet invigorating tea. This tea has all the earthy mellowness of pu erh, combined with cinnamon and ginger. If you want a cup that is both relaxing and invigorating (maybe you need to de-stress yet keep working), then this is the tea for you. Great for when you're at work.

★★★★★

This is a great pu erh for people who don't really like pu erh. You get the smooth richness of pu erh, but the spice flavors mellow out the earthiness and make it a very delectable cuppa.

I'd never had a pu erh before, so I didn't really know what to expect.
In the bag, it smells much more earthy (almost musty, actually) than I had thought it would.
In the cup however, it smelled like heaven.
Pure deliciousness.
The taste didn't live up to the smell.
Still, a pretty decent tea all things considered.

You know that weird taste in your mouth after leaving a floral shop in december? Kinda a musty eau du Santa? That's what this tea tastes like.
