This is the first pu erh tea that I've tried, and I am happy to say that it's an easy-drinking tea. Not bitter and just the right amount of spice.
Perky spices and mellow pu erh in a soul-soothing blend.

This is the first pu erh tea that I've tried, and I am happy to say that it's an easy-drinking tea. Not bitter and just the right amount of spice.
Very calm, flavorful tea. One of the best new teas i have experienced recently.
I really enjoy this tea. Pu erh is a favored of mine anyway but to have a little kick of space is delightful. A little sweetener really accompany's the flavors well.
This tea was not what I expected. It tasted weak even though I tried adjusting the steep times. I couldn't quite strike a balance of strength versus bitterness.
This was one tea I bought just on a whim. I felt the need to vary my current tea selection. At first smell, it seems really powerful. It does lose some of that power after you steep it but it is still a fantastic tea. I drink this one in the morning or any time I need to stay awake.
This is an excellent puerh tea with a nice holiday blend of spices added in. There is a strong clove and citrus smell, and none of the strong vegetal taste you can get with some low quality puerh teas. Very easy to steep like most puerhs, use boiling water and there's no danger of oversteeping.
This tea reminds me off fall. The spices mix perfectly with the pu erh tea. For me it was a reminiscent cup. the pu erh tea with notes of a musty antique store combined with spices that reminded me of spice cookies I have eaten in the fall and at Christmas time. It took me to the end of the sample to figure out the one elusive spice that I couldn't name...the anise seed. A wonderful cup of tea!
Having never tried a pu erh tea before, I was a little alarmed when I first smelled the tea in the bag. There was a definite musky odor which didn't seem appealing at all. After steeping, it still had a funny smell, but the muskinest was blended with a nice hint of spices. I gave it a sip, and then another. I was surprised it didn't taste like dirty laundry. The spice notes come through and make this tea somewhat pleasant. Also, it feels really smooth and velvety in the mouth.
I think there is a time and a place for this specific flavor of tea, and at this time, I'm not sure what that is.
The spice overpowers a not very flavorful pu erh. I usually like Adagio's pu erhs, but this one is not very tasty.
This tea is amazing. I love the spice blend. It is quickly becoming my favorite tea.
Good but I would like a milder tea, it was alittle harsh
Great flavor! I really enjoyed this blend! I usually add honey and milk to all of my teas but that was unnecessary with this blend.
I've tried several pu erh teas and this is by far my favorite. Light smokey taste laced with just the right amount of spice.
Light earthy flavor. Nothing special to write about.
Great tea. You can drink it cold or hot. Add honey when you brew your tea, it's just great.
I was hoping for a little more spice, but this tea is still nice. I added a little ginger after the first few sips. It's dark in color and very smooth to sip.
I'm personally not fond of this tea. It was my first pu erh though so take this review with a grain of salt. It tasted weak to me using the recommended instructions.
The spices in this do help with the foot taste of pu erh. Not bad at all. Best pu erh I have! My other one, a sunny citrus flavor from Lupicia, tastes like sour feet.. this one is spicy feet! Better.
Love the fragrance, and getting multiple infusions from one teaspoon.
Not bad at all, but my favorite is still the chorange
Spicy and dark, but not much caffeine. I can really taste the cinnamon!
This is a great earthy tea that is perfect for autumn and is capable of multiple infusions. It's my first pu erh tea I've ever tried, and now I'm sure I'll be looking around at more flavors.
this has become my favorite! the spices make this especially flavorful. I love the smell as I open the bag! it gets me ready for a warm cup of hugs!
This is one of my favorite teas. I brew it just below boiling for about 5 minutes with a dash a stevia and it is great in the morning.
- Aftertaste continuous for some time.
- Tea flavor disguised by spice.
- Spice camouflages the taste instead of complimenting it
The spice complements the beautiful 'musty' flavour of the pu erh tea, and makes it an almost sweet cup without any sweetener. My favourite of the sampler pack - I reordered and will reorder again! I love this tea to bring to school in a tea thermos. I can keep the leaves in the thermos' tea basket and re-steep them all day. I love pu erh almost as much as I love my cat.
This tea is full of flavor and warms you to your toes
The best one yet! This is like fall in a bag. Smell is amazing and it tastes just like it smells.
A zesty and spicy blend. Great when adding fresh fruit, such as oranges or lemons.
Amazing taste! Spicy and sweet. No need for added sugar. Will definitely be a tea to have stocked this fall/winter.
Bought this for my boss, who is a fan of spicy teas. It got his seal of approval, and that's good enough for me!
The spice blends perfectly with the earthiness of the Pu Erh and is never bitter or overpowering. I will have to get a big bag of this when it comes back. Wonderfully elegant and earthy, just perfect!
Great flavors and just the right amount of spice. I am really loving pu erh teas!
Wow this was a great tea and I'm glad I have some left! This would make a great winter/holiday tea. the spices are aromatic and delightful to taste.
update:I am now unfortunately reminded of fish every time I try this tea. And I hate seafood.
It tastes flat otherwise. My only other frame of reference for pu'erh is the hazelberry tea and this one is not as sweet as that one. Also, there is a faint (but pleasant) smokey aftertaste.
This tea has a lot of spice, which you can probably tell from the name. It's a tea that seems to warm you from the inside and I often think it smells a lot like Christmas and the holidays. A good winter tea.
Great earthy flavor, the spice is nice and light. A go-to tea.
We love most pu erhs, but this isn't as full bodied taste-wise as the others.
This is delicious for breakfast...especially with milk and honey
This one is good of you like the spicy flavor. It isn't my favorite, but I do like it.
Im new to pu erh and this tea was delicious and like nothing I had ever tasted before.
I've enjoyed the Spice, Chorange and Tahiti blends of this pu erh. Very tasty and fragrant, but not an every day tea for me.
This tea has a delicate taste which is not overpowering. Great for a relaxing evening with a good book beside a roaring fire.
Pu Erh Spice is good. Not exactly what I expected. I think too much ginger for me, not enough other spices. Still very drinkable, but I probably wont order again though.
An excellent pu erh with just a hint of spice that makes it distinct and delicious. I have enjoyed this tea both Western-styled and Gong-fu styled with multiple resteepings. It is delicious either way!
The pu erh teas are my new favorite. They have such a rich flavor and are very easy to fix. This one has the perfect hint of spice.
Just ok for me but my wife is obsessed with it. Think chocolate orange but in a good way
I guess this is just not my cup of tea. Enjoyed, but not something I would buy again
A nice and robust spiced tea, good with a bit of milk and sweetener. I like the subtle orange flavor it has.
Very different from what I expected but tasty. Will order again
