What an odd tea. I liked it when I first tasted it, but after a few sips, I felt it was too sweet..almost like dessert wine. It's thick, loaded with flavor.. It's not a bad flavor..but I guess I'm a black tea girl. I'll have it again I think, but probably when I want something sweet and different from my ordinary tea.
This is a magnificent tea, though as with most fruit associated teas it smells stronger than it tastes. Re-steeps well, comfortingly cozy and earthy but light enough to stand on its own without sugar or milk.
I was hesitant to get this tea, as I tried the pu erh pearls, and they were not to my liking. Then I saw the ingredients... and yes, I ordered, and I do not regret it, at all. This is one of the fruitest, most earthy teas I have ever brewed. It has a great aroma, too! If you like bold teas, and you like them fruity, this is the perfect tea for you.
Not for me. It seems like tea for someone who doesn't like tea. Nutty flavors overwhelm the natural puerh flavor.
I found that the hazelnut in this tea really overpowered the subtle fruity notes, but overall this was a good drinkable tea.

Wow, I can't even begin to describe how great this tea is. When the package was first opened, this delicious aroma filled the air. That smell maintained through the brewing, and the taste... incredible. Instant favorite!
I was really excited about the new pu-erh tea and especially about this one because I have enjoyed another berry pu-erh from another tea distributer. I have tried making my own blends of pu-erh using adagio's blend section. I was amazed to find this actually tastes exactly like a blend I had already created. Just with that blend I made I wish the pu-erh was a little stronger but it is still an excellent tea.
Be careful not to let it steep over the advised time. It left a nice, sweet aftertaste in my mouth. I loved the smell and the color of it.
This is now one of my favorite teas! It was a real treat. It was very smooth with absolutely no acidity. Deep in flavor of hazel and creme. I didn't taste much of the strawberry flavor, just the right hint of it on the back end. It was sweet even without sugar and very aromatic!I did add one tsp of sugar to enhance the sweetness and bring out the flavors and man was it good. I wish this smell was in some kind of air freshener, it was just wonderful. I got 2 steepings out of the leaves, no problem. My husband and I both had 2 big cups back to back, it was so good! He didn't put sugar in his. We kept remarking to each other that it made us think of french toast, maple syrup and butter. This is a very creamy tea. Don't be shy, give this one a try! You will be pleasantly surprised!
Not a fan of the pu erh, but this is my first experience drinking pu erh. I didn't even know of its existence.
I really wish I could rate this higher. Hands down one of the best teas I've ever had. It's rich, creamy and smooth-- the hazelnut, berry and chocolate flavors combine well to create a dessert-like flavor, and it has a wonderful earthy finish.

This tea is yummy! I am really loving the flavored pu erhs, strangely enough, since I didn't care for the pu erh dante on its own... Maybe I should give it another try? Anyway, the nutty hazelnut works really well against the earthy pu erh. The only thing is that the berry flavor was not really there at all... Otherwise, very good!

I'm not the biggest fan of berry or Pu Erh tea. The woody flavor of the pu erh seemed an odd mix with the tart berry flavor. Although I didn't like it, my friend loved this tea.
This is probably my new favorite flavored puerh! Hazelnut is more dominate than the berry but it makes it a little richer. The berry kind of lends a note of sweetness.
This is my first Pu Erh tea that I've tried, and it is a new experience for sure. The smell of the un-steeped leaves is strong, and not my favorite thing in the world. However, once brewed this tea is pretty tasty! The aged-ness of the pu ehr is evident, and the 'hazelberry' is an interesting flavor too. I am not a fan of hazelnut, but don't be discouraged if you're like me, as this is a totally different flavor.
With cream and sugar this is several magnitudes better than I expected, especially for something I added as a free sample afterthought.

Earthy, fruity, woodsy... The aroma smelled like blueberries, which I thought was odd. It was totally satisfying. This one was definitely a surprise. A great surprise. Going to get more than the sampler next time.

I was honestly very surprised by this tea. I got it as a free sample because I wasn't sure if I wanted to spend money on it, but I think I might! In my experience pu erh has tasted too muh like dirt to really appeal to me, and was worried that that would be the strongest flavor in this tea but it wasn't! The strawberry was the real spotlight here, with hazelnut blending smoothly with it while the pu erh simply gave a nice warm, earthy undertone that wasn't too overpowering.
This is a sweet, rich, earthy tea. The Pu'Erh aspect is very approachable and would be great for someone who hasn't really acquired a taste for it yet. The berry flavor pairs seamlessly with the hazelnut for a flavor that's hard to describe. It's like a fruity chestnut almost.
Typing my thoughts on this tea while brewing and drinking this one, the Pu Erh Hazelberry. I prepared it using a Breville One Touch Tea Maker and added a few bits of German rock sugar. The deep amber tea in the pot gave off a distinctively nutty aroma and was very palatable - smooth and creamy. The hazelnut really stood out in the first brew. To my surprise, when I read the label, parts of it read 'playful strawberry' - I was not able to discern this one. This is actually a good thing, I have had too much berry flavored tea from another tea chain.
Delightfully warm and smooth, the taste doesn't fully develop until the liquid is no longer on your tongue. Very pleasant fruity taste.
I'm pretty enamored on Pu Erh teas generally, and this one is divine. The hazelnut and strawberry play really well with the tea and I drink it straight without adding anything.

I haven't liked the straight pu erh teas, but the flavors in this blend match perfectly and it is really good. I strongly recommend this tea--even if you are hesitant at first.
Honest to god I can NOT stop imagining this tea being offered to me by Ents. It is gloriously earthy and smooth and sweet, and it might be my favorite tea that I've EVER had from Adagio. If I could rate this as SIX stars, I would in an instant!
This tea is everything I never knew I wanted! Really, it is *so* good. My latest order from adagio just arrived about half an hour ago, and I gleefully started with this one. The scent in the bag is divine, and while brewed it doesn't smell quite as strongly, it's still great. This blend smells dark and velvety, a mix of those strawberry and rich chocolate notes with a nutty and smoky, earthy layer from the hazelnut and pu erh. I brewed this pretty strong, at the recommended temperature and length (five mins at 212). I found this tea to be quite lovely when enjoyed black, with the predominant flavor being berry with undertones of chocolate and that earthiness. I also enjoyed it sweetened with just a touch of cream and sugar, definitely less than I would normally take--you don't want to overly sweeten this tea as it's already got naturally sweet elements. As soon as I run out of the sample of this tea, a larger size is going right back in my cart.
I am not a fan of coffee, at all, which is why I was skeptical of this tea. It has an aroma similar to coffee. So, why did I rate this tea as 'good'? Well, it has a very unique flavor, and it doesn't really TASTE like coffee. I was pleasantly surprised.

I love this tea so much! It smells and tastes delicious. The berry is not overpowering so it is not too sweet. This tea is one of my favorites.
I am not a fan of this tea. Maybe I have unrealistic expectations, but in my opinion the added flavors covered up all the subtleties I expect in a good tea.
I opened this tea and immediately took a large breath in to smell the tea, like I do with all teas. This tea, to me, smells like warm blueberry pancakes and the best quality maple syrup. It is so very nutty and a perfect level of sweetness, without adding any sweetener. I had a glass with a slice of pie left over from Thanksgiving and it was beautiful. This will definitely be a tea I buy often. It will make a great tea to have with breakfast.
Fantastic! I was apprehensive about pu erh since I'd heard some negative things, but the hazelberry made the intro nice and sweet. The best is that you can brew it over and over and it's just as good.

This is a smoky tea with a wonderful chocolatey flavor. A great winter tea.
I find this tea to be just ok. Earthy, with a hint of fruitiness. My friend just loves this stuff, my husband wrinkles his nose and refuses even a sip of it after his first try, I am somewhere in between these two. I tend to like it best in mid day, when I need a bit of a pick me up without the big jolt I crave in the morning. I will definitely use up what I have but it won't be a repurchase for me.

I was skeptical of a flavored puehr, but the cream and berry flavors blend perfectly with this earthy tea. It does not need any sweetener. This is one of my favorite teas!
Ugh this tea, it's so good, the earthy darkness and hint of berries. It's perfect as a morning brew and I can't get enough of it.
One of my favorite of the new pu ehrs (though pu ehr spice will always have my heart!). Absolutely delicious blend that reminds me of chocolate-coated strawberries. The cream gives it a particularly rounded finish and prevents the sweetness from becoming too cloying. Perfect for black tea lovers and for those who are usually put off by the bitterness of black tea. try not to overbrew, though. I've found that 3-5 minutes is optimal.
