I did not at all expect to enjoy this tea as much as I did. Most black or oolong teas I have to take at least a little dairy with, but this pu erh hazelberry is so smooth I did not miss my milk one bit. The strawberry is definitely subtle, but it rounds out the flavor, offsetting the nutty, almost bread-like top notes of the pu erh.
This tea has a great buttery finish. I didn't expect to like it, but it is one of my favorites.
The other reviewers don't lie, this tea is amazing! I'm off to order a bigger amount now <3
***Update, reading on pu erh, you are not supposed to steep it long, I only steep for about 30 seconds, still has a lot of flavor and I get a lot more steeps...as you are supposed to with pu erh.
This tea has a good note of sweet berries to it. It blends in smoothly with the pu erh.
I didn't know what to expect with this one, this being the first pu erh tea I've had, but this was a beautiful soft tea. It smells a bit like fruit loops cereal, but its taste is sweet and mild with just a hint of fruit, and it does not get bitter after leaving it to steep.
I Looove this pu erh! It has a wonderful earthy, nutty taste. You can definitely taste the hazelnut but, not so much that it completely drowns out the pu erh. The strawberry compliments this blend very well. I will order more of this tea.
Fantastic way to start your morning. I like it a lot with about a half a spoonful of raw sugar.
I had never tried pu erh teas. I didn't know what to expect. I ordered my samples based on the reviews of the most popular teas. Hazelberry is really fantastic. If you haven't tried this tea I highly recommend you try it. I intend on ordering a large supply to keep on hand.
Amazing flavor, this has become one of my go-to teas. The 'earthy' flavor along with the hint of nuts and strawberry is an amazing combination and picks me up in the morning before I have to get on with my day. Additionally, the aroma of the unbrewed and brewed tea is simply amazing. I'd recommend this tea to anyone who enjoys the flavors that compose it.
Hazelberry overwhelms the puerh, and sometimes that's what you're looking for, but it kind of confuses me. I was hoping for a lighter berry flavor and for the puerh to come through more. If you're looking for something fruity, though, and aren't too hot on the idea of the puerh flavor, go right ahead.
It was ok. Probably would not buy again. Many others I prefer.
Delicious! Aside from being the best smelling tea ever, it makes you feel great inside, relaxed and energized. It even seems to relieve some pain after a workout. And no sweeteners are needed.
If I were to fill a bathtub full of tea to soak in, I think it would be this tea. The aroma alone is intoxicating. Rich and mellow. the cocoa is the strongest of the flavors for me.
I was looking forward to the deep earthy pu erh with a hazelnut accent, but this tea was a disappointment. I didn't taste the hazelnut at all. It just ended up tasting like a mild strawberry water. Tried several different time and temperature combinations to no avail.

This is absolutely wonderful. There is a very strong hazelnut note. I don't even like hazelnut! But in a tea, it's a very smooth experience. Add fruity colors, and it's wonderful.
This is my first pu erh, so I had no idea what to expect. I'll do my best to describe the taste differences. It's definitely fuller than a black tea. There's a very hearty aftertaste that I really liked. It's kind of earthy. The hazelnut taste is very strong. I can hardly taste the berries at all, to be honest.
I got a sample of this, and I think there's a very good chance I'll end up buying more of it later! It smells SO GOOD in the bag, and it tastes quite similar to that smell. Oddly, I feel like it didn't smell quite as good once I brewed it, but that is of course not a big problem since it still tasted delicious!

This tea surprised me. As per normal practice, I initially tried this 'black' tea without sugar before deciding on how much sugar to add. What I discovered is that the tea is so mild and flavorful without sugar that it wasn't necessary. Adding a smidge of sugar, however, does bring out 'berry' out of the hazelberry. Smell in bag and after steeping is a combination of earthy aroma and sweet hazelnut scent. If this is what I can come to expect from pu erh tea, I might use it as a great alternative to traditional black teas.
Good but I couldn't taste the strawberry at all which was pretty disappointing.
Bought for me, ended up my wife loved it so much she stole it from me! Taste great, and very soothing.
Hazelberry tea... BEST TEA EVER!!! My husband even loves it, who isn't a tea drinker... YOU WON'T REGRET THIS FLAVOR! By the way I NEVER leave reviews... That's how good this is!
This is a very rich and velvety blend. The sweet nuttiness of the hazelnut is subtle, yet not overlooked. The creamy strawberry adds a touch of sweetness to lighten the very dark, earthy pu erh base to form one very well balanced blend.
It's got just enough flavor, and it is a nice, soothing, yet strong tea. I love it!
I'm not a huge fan of pu erh's, more of a green tea drinker, myself, but my wife thinks this one is okay.
I didn't know what to really expect for the pu erh hazelberry. I have had other pu erh teas before, but not one with another flavor added. I really enjoyed it so I added it to one of my fandom blends.
This tea was fantastic! I got it as a sample and then quickly had to order more, it smells like just a hint of gandpa's pipe tobacco and has a wonderful rich flavor.
The berry and hazelnut are very distinct here, which is nice! It sets the flavor apart from a typical fruity blend. There is a bit of a sweetness to it as well which worked nicely. I highly recommend this to people who like fruity teas, but this one happens to not rock my world a ton, even though it seems like it should.
Oohhh this tea is wonderful! It's the first pu erh I've tried and I'm so impressed. The cocoa is really smooth but then there's also these lovely strawberry undertones and mmm just so good...
A wonderful, nutty tea. It's absolutely delicious. I put some almond milk in mine, and it was fabulous, though a little thin. I steeped it longer, and all was well.
Tea great, I finish my sample in two days. I love Pu erh the earthiness. The hazelnut add for perfect taste. Wonderful tea. Tea tea a wonderful drink. The more one drinks the more you wants. Drink and drink enjoy best of teas.
One of the best teas you can put in your mouth, I like it sweetened but it really doesn't need that, and since it's pu erh, it can't get bitter. It's AMAZING.
A little too much like 'flavored latte' for my tastes. Quite a sweet blend. Would be good with cream.

I wasn't at all sure what to expect when I brewed this tea up. I'd liked the name of it, for some unknown reason, though I'm not an avid Pu Erh drinker. And so I added the sample to an order, thinking 'What the hell?' My sense of smell is, at the moment, compromised, so even brewing it I was worried of what to expect, as many of the reviews talked about it smelling great even just opening the bag, and I couldn't smell it. But when I began to sip it, I was in love with the strawberry taste, just strong enough to carry over all other tastes. I'm in love!
I have never had pu erh tea before and took a chance on getting a sample size of this tea. It has a strong earthy/nutty smell when you open the bag. The taste of the tea is not bad by any means. I am not a huge fan of earthy tasting teas but this tea is a strong earthy smell when brewed but tastes of a nutty/hazelberry going in and then a fruity/sweet strawberry after taste. I'm glad I took a chance out of my comfort zone with this one.
This is probably my favorite of the pu erhs that've just come out and that is a hard one to choose because they're all really good. If you want a creamy cup of delicious, though, this is probably one of my favorite teas ever.
Fruity, tangy, nutty and smooth. Never bitter. The Pu-erh tastes like the Pu-erh Poe blend.
This tea is interesting. I've never tried pu erh before so I wasn't sure what to expect, but Ilove hazelnut and the great reviews here persuaded me to order a sample. The smell upon opening the bag is absolutely marvelous and convinced me I needed to try this tea first. After brewing, I was fairly disappointed that both the scent and flavor were weaker than I'd been anticipating. I wasn't that into it so I added some sugar. Better, but still not that into it. And yet I've drank the whole cup now. I do like it after getting used to it. I can see it being an easy replacement for coffee. There's a lot going on with this tea and I definitely think it's worth trying and deciding for your self whether it works or not. For me, it seems like it's going to take several cups to know for sure.
It took a while to get the right time and temp for this one, but once I did, it was so sweet and mellow with a little sugar. I'll probably get more.
I don't think there's anything wrong with the tea, it just wasn't for me. I've given it to a friend who insists it's delicious.
More hazelnut than berry. A light and nutty flavor. I found I like the original hazelnut tea better.
Excellent tea, smooth and creamy. My only complaint is that I didn't notice much strawberry flavor, it was kind of overpowered by the chocolate and hazelnut
this is pretty tasty! i added a tsp of sugar and drank it hot, it totally hit the spot! had a light, nutty taste while satisfying my sweet tooth!
This tea is AMAZING. I was a little skeptical at first, but it's really delicious. It has a slight coffee taste without the acidity. Really good with a little bit of milk.
This is my first time trying a pu-erh tea. I initially wasn't sure how much I would like it when I first opened the sample bag and smelled it, but after brewing it at the suggested time/temp, I'm enjoying it quite a lot so far. It's definitely the earthiest and darkest tea I've ever had at this point, and I think the newness of the taste of this type of tea is getting in the way of me being able to taste the individual flavors (like the strawberry). Overall I'm looking forward to more cups of this. :)
This tea has a really nice nutty aroma and flavor, good to try if you're not a huge fan of the earthiness of the regular pu erh. I don't really get much of the berry flavor, but it's still a good tea overall.
This tea is exactly as promises. The smell when opening the bag is very strongly of strawberry. The nut came though more strongly than the fruit, but the fruit is definitely there on the aftertastes. This is a strong-flavored and delicious tea.
