Favorite pu erh tea so far. The earthiness of the pu erh goes really well with the tang of berry. Second brewing was better than the first.
I think it tasted a little soapy. I'm going to give it a while, in case it was something I was using to make the tea and I'd like to have a refreshed and cleansed palate before I try it again. Not sure if its the flavor combo or not. I want to like it, it smells amazing. I found this was a weaker tea and I had to use a lot to get of body/colour in my cup.

Different than I was expecting, but very good. The scent of the leaves is very strong, but didn't brew up as... startlingly strawberry-ish. As usual, I needed more than 1tsp of tea per cup of water to get the strength I wanted.
This tea smells kind of like Captain Crunch crunch berries. As far as tasting like it that's another story. I really love how it smells but the taste is odd. The combo of the pu erh tea and the flavoring clash a bit. I find that I like the second steep better because the flavor is not so overwhelming. The first cup is very earthy and over powering.

I rated 'ok' because I wasn't all too thrilled with the flavor. My wife liked it, so it's more of a personal preference.
This tea is without a doubt a dessert tea. it's very much a nutty tea with that nice hint of cocoa and berry. I'm usually one to prefer fruitier teas, but this one was really nice. The hazelnut flavor is just a delight.
This tea is just OK for me. I really prefer the plain hazelnut without the added flavors.
Like most pu erhs I've tried, the scent of this tea is woodsy and leathery, but this hazelberry-flavored variety has a lot of nuttiness and strawberry-ness too. I found the smell to be a tad more enticing than the flavor, which seemed too sweet, somehow, or at least a bit more artificially-enhanced than other hazlenut-strawberry flavor combos I've tried -- in herbal or black tea form, this flavor combo seems to entice me more than in this pu erh form, which I feel is a bit weighed down by the sharp berry flavor. (If I'd never tried other varietals with the same flavor profile, I might not feel that way!) For me, I think pu erh may be best on its own, or with more of a citrus/tropical bent.
Has an incredibly smooth creamy quality. The strawberry, cream, and hazelnut notes all blend together very well. Has an almost oat note to it probably from the cream and pu erh fermentation process. Admittedly tastes a little like milk left over from a bowl of fruity cereal, but somehow in a more sophisticated way.
The pu erh hazelberry is the perfect blend of tea that has a bold and rich flavor. It can be brewed extra strong or long without any bitterness. Cream or almond milk can be added to make it so rich.

This was my first time trying a pu erh tea, and although I really enjoyed the overall earthy flavor of the tea, I can't say I was too crazy for the chocolate/strawberry-like flavor that overpowered it a little. It smells absolutely amazing, like strawberry shortcake, but the taste mixed with the tea just wasn't as much of a homerun for me as some of Adagio's other teas. That being said, I will definitely be drinking the rest of my sample, and plan on trying the orange pu erh blend that I've heard many good things about. Not giving up on pu erh yet!
I originally got this as part of a pu erh sampler set. I thought to myself, 'well, this will probably be okay.'
And then I considered ordering an entire pound of it. It's ~that~ good. The scent and taste of pu erh -- which I can only describe as damp, but a delicious damp -- forms a strong base, with the strawberry and hazelnut notes lightening it and rounding it out. This is a super-tasty tea, perfect for spring and summer, and I will definitely be keeping it stocked.
My initial review of this was just 'good', as I was hoping for more hazelnut flavor...but it really grew on me over time and became a favorite for its earthy nuttiness and I just reordered some!
The cherry in this was a nice surprise! I adore pu erh and this is a nice change to the basic.
It's so delicious. Smooth, nutty taste with subtle hints of berries. I am not familiar with pu'erh tea but I think I will be buying more. It is much less intense and bitter than black tea.
Was a little hesitant to try this tea because berry teas aren't my favorite. But the strawberry flavors are pretty subtle, and the tea is quite earthy and woodsy from the hazelnut flavor (without tasting like dirt. yay!). This is the only kind of pu erh tea I've tried, and so far I'm enjoying it.

This is my favorite so far! This blend is very well balanced and has a pleasant body. It is sweet, but not sickeningly so. The earthiness of the pu erh is still present but it is not SO evident that you wonder if perhaps there is dirt in your tea. So far I have only had this hot, but perhaps it is good iced as well?
I really enjoy Adagio's flavored pu'erhs. Hazelberry has that delicious strawberry taste mixed with a sweet hazelnut/chocolate flavor, but keeps the intensely earthy pu'erh base. I like Adagio's basic pu'erh, but the flavored ones just add a little variety when I want it.
Reading the reviews, it seems that different people get a different dominant flavor. For me, the cocoa and hazelnut is very subtle while the strawberry is more of an aftertaste. I like it.
Kind of indescribable.. A tasty mix of nuttiness and frutiness. Kind of smoky strawberry flavor if that makes sense. Very tasty. I added a little of my cream tea to soften it for a blend.
Love this puerh blend! Excellent and delicious for a dessert like strawberries and cream taste with mellow and earthy puerh. Awesome with a little added sweetener too!
Very smooth with a light strawberry taste. I'm not noticing the hazelnut, but it may just subtly be blending in with the pu erh's earthiness.
Awesome smooth, creamy taste. Taste like captain crunch berries cereal. I use with approximately 3/4 tbsp of stevia per 8 oz.
Didn't love this. I asked my colleague to smell it and she said, 'smells like farm-y frankenberries. I definitely liked the spice better. Not a big pu erh fan yet so my review may not be helpful if you already like pu erh.
If you are new to pu erh tea, this is a good starting choice. It is relatively easy to steep compared to other blends and has a mild (but satisfying) flavor.
exceptionally smooth. very earthy. light notes of berry as stated, and leaves a nice aftertaste (although slightly gritty)
tip: don't let this tea's first impression affect your opinion: steep the leaves twice! The second steep is definitely more enjoyable in my opinion. In the future, I will probably not even drink the first steep. The second steep still retains the body of the tea without the harsh bitter foretaste. I also don't steep it quite at boiling point.
Enjoyable as a late afternoon tea in my opinion.
As the name says, hazelberry! If you like the namesake you will love it. Not to nutty and just right!
Delicious tea. I didn't think I would like the pu erh teas, but I do love the deep musty taste and the hazelberry flavor lightens it just enough to make it thoroughly enjoyable.

This is a very unique tea! Really not like any other tea I've had before. The hazelnut is a distinct flavor (but not too strong) but you can absolutely taste the berries as well. It's very pleasant, strong but not too strong, and great for cold winter days (like we're having here!). Delicious!
I've tried plain pu erh before and was unimpressed. I was immediately in love with the smell of the hazelberry when I opened the bag. Somehow reminiscent of fruit loops. The taste is more subtle, but blends well. Nice gentle chocolate and strawberry flavors. After this, I just might try the plain pu erh again.
This stuff smells like Cap'n Crunch Berries haha, but it's not overly sweet. It's a nice tea when you want a touch of fruity mixed with hazelnut.

An interesting mix of strawberries, cream, and nutty flavors. For my tastes, it was a bit too far on the nutty side. If you're a fan of Belgian ales, you'll like it because it is similar to the yeasty flavors found there. If you drink this for the strawberry/cream flavor, don't steep these leaves more than twice. The flavors don't stick around too long. Overall, a good tea. Not amongst my favorites though.
This tea is wonderful. I cannot even begin to explain how much I love this tea. I feel like this is what Amortentia would smell like to me. This is great as it is, but it becomes a decadent dessert drink with cream. I can drink cup after cup of this stuff.

This is my first experience with pu erh tea and, oh my goodness, sooooo good. It as the most lovely, coziest aroma and tastes as good as it smells.

One of my favorite teas now! It smells like fruity pebbles in the bag but isn't as strong once it's brewed. This one is a must try. I can get 2 brews out of one batch.

This is a lovely dessert tea. A wonderful very low calorie treat. I no longer use any sugar in my teas since I found Adagio but this tastes sweet all on its own.
