★★★★★

Brilliant combinations of flavor. The hazelnut is perfectly complimented by the berry while the pu erh provides a strong earthy base. I occasionally add a splash of milk if I want it to be more of a dessert tea.

★★★★★

It's fruity, flowery, and not overpowering. The black tea was subtle in this blend allowing other lighter flavors to like the hazelnut and berry to reach the palette. Definitely one to try for those who want to mix up the pu eh experience.

★★★★☆

Very earthy, but I enjoy the strawberry notes a lot. I gave it 4/5 because I like it a lot, but I can't say I'd recommend it to anyone who didn't love the pu'erh dirt-ish taste.

This is one of my absolute favorite teas! I love Pu Erh and this particular one is my favorite of them. The strawberry and cream flavors are nice and subtle and the hazelnut flavor is strong.

★★★★☆

I'm in love with Adagio's Pu Erh Chorange so I thought I'd give this Pu Erh a try. The flavors are subtle with the earthy richness of Pu Erh but it doesn't compare to the Chorange.

★☆☆☆☆

Tasted like dung, and smelled even worse. Definitely skip this one.

★★★☆☆

The aroma was fantastic, but the flavor was a little too earthy for me.

★★☆☆☆

Too earthy for my taste. Don't really taste the berries.

This fast became a favorite for ice. I also added a bit of the Oolong almond for a great blend.

★★★☆☆

Not bad but I'm not a fan of pu erh. I wouldn't suggest starting with this tea.

★★★★★

Oh, this is pleasant for a tired day. Soft and sweet strawberry with a creamy mouthfeel, underpinned by the earthiness of pu erh, which I didn't think would go with it, but very much does. Doesn't really stand up to many multiple steepings like other pu erhs I've had, but it's certainly a tasty brew.

This is, by far, my favorite pu erh out of the ones that I've tried. It's sweet, nutty, and velvety to the last drop. The sample size was not nearly enough of this wonderful addition to my tea stash!

★★★★☆

First off, this tea looks and smells beautiful. It has wonderful color once steeped with tones of crimson and amber. The taste is sweet with obvious notes of strawberry and hazelnut. But since it is a pu erh, it is velvety and earthy. I could see where this tea would be very well liked by a variety of people because it is sweet and fragrant, but contrastingly musty and earthy.

★★★★☆

Since my visit to an Asian market, I have been hunting for quality pu-erh tea. This one didn't measure up. too many tastes were vying for attention and ruining the mellow satisfaction of the tea. It would be better without the hazelnut or the berries.

I absolutely love this tea! I was surprised because of the smell and the flavor combination, but it is easily one of my very favorites. I drink mine with a little milk and sugar and it is a very full and comforting tea.

★★★★★

Fantastic strong tasty cup, smooth and slightly sweet. Tasty and different, very little bitterness. Careful not to over steep.

★★★★★

I love the rich, bold flavor of this tea. It is distinct and aromatic and I can't get enough of it!

★★★★☆

Almost like a hot cup of fruity nutella! Some people may not like it but I thought it was pleasant.

★★★☆☆

Wasn't sure what to expect. Decent taste. Not great, not bad.

★★★☆☆

This wasn't my favorite. The pu erh is not very high quality and the hazelnut note was okay, but I did not taste any strawberry. My boyfriend however really liked it, so it may just be me.

★★★☆☆

There is something about the way the tea finishes that does not suit my fancy. The dry leaves smell great and I hope for the same effect when tasting the tea, however the taste is minimal soon after sipping and it doesn't leave the taste I would expect from the smell.

I'm loving this tea... full bodied, cocoa and prominent berry flavor. I look forward to it each time I prepare it.

★★★☆☆

This was great at first, but I got a bit over it after a while. The taste was great at first, but the aftertaste was kind of bleh.

★★★★★

The tea's name does describes its taste! the combination of hazelnut and berries is a celebration to the taste buds!

★★★★★

Very smooth with a unique flavor. Both my husband and I liked it a lot.

★★★★★

If I drank coffee this would be the tea I would replace it with. Incredible depth, wonderful combination of earthy black tea, creamy hazelnut with strawberries, just the right amount of sweetness. I've accidentally over steeped the tea and no bitterness. By far my favorite Pu Erh tea and better then any of the black teas I've had. Will definitely be purchasing more, bought 1 lb back a month ago and it's almost gone.

Amazing! This is heaven in a cup. You pick up the hazelnut smell and with a touch of cream and sugar it is simply amazing! Literally the best cup of tea I've had.

When I smelled it I wasn't sure if I even wanted to try it but it tasted pretty good. It's definitely earthy.

★★★★★

Love love love this tea! Absolutely delightful! A favorite in this house!

★★★★★

One of my favorites. I will always make sure I have some in my cupboard.

★★★☆☆

It was ok. I prefer a mire natural flavor thus seemed very artificial but very drinkable!

★☆☆☆☆

Couldn't drink this one. I guess I'm just not a fan of flavored teas.

As soon as I opened the bag from this tea, I was in love--the hazelnut smell is amazing! The tea is surprising smooth. I was a little worried about it tasting artificial, but it doesn't at all. The berry flavor blends really well with darker, earthier flavors of the tea. I think this definitely makes a great morning tea and next time I won't be ordering just a sample size.

★★★★☆

Another good tea with rich taste. I add a bit of hone or Stevia in the Raw.

★★★★★

The sweetness of strawberry and hazelnut are the perfect complement to earthy pu erh. The tea brews a gorgeous dark chocolate colored liquor with a strong aroma of berries. Hazelnut is the initial note while the strawberry smooths out into a sweet aftertaste that helps cut the more aggressive tones of pu erh. Whether you're just getting into pu erh or are already a fan, this is a fabulous tea.

I'm not too big on this tea because I like un-flavored tea, but my fiancee loves it. It smells like Captain Crunch.

★★★★★

this is defiantly one of my favorite pu erh tea. Add some honey and/or some rice milk and it makes my mornings the best.

★★★★★

This is the best. I like pu erh tea and your Hazelberry is excellent

★★★★★

A friend gave me some of this. It's what got me started with Adagio Teas.

★★★★★

Honestly, this smells like Special K with strawberry when I first opened the bag. And when you brew and drink this, it's so smooth and subtly sweet. Great body and the flavours really compliment each other. Great tea!

I normally don't care for flavored pu-erh teas having tried quite a few and found them on the nasty side. Then, I tried Adagio's pu erh hazelberry and I'm absolutely in love with this flavor. Subtle hints of nut and strawberry combined with the earthiness of pu erh tea. Yum. I will definitely buy this again. I ordered on Dec. 18th and it was delivered on the 22nd. Can't beat that either. I'm drinking a cup now. Absolutely lovely.

★★★★☆

Very nice flavor. The hazelberry flavor is just right, not overwhelming.

Update: Apparently, after I received this tea and wrote my review, the description or something about it changed, because it no longer mentions chocolate, but I could have sworn that there was a chocolate note to the tea. It definitely had that odd chocolate taste that I find myself disliking!
Of course, perhaps the oddness was the pu erh itself... I shared a cup with my aunt, who loved it and ended up taking the rest of the sample home.
Original review: Honestly, I didn't pay close enough attention to the description of this tea to realize it had chocolate flavoring. It would probably be quite delicious, but the chocolate pretty much overwhelms all the other flavor notes, and I can't stand chocolate/tea combinations, despite loving chocolate otherwise. It smells like something rotten to me in the sample pouch - it's the combo of chocolate and tea. Too bad.

★★★★★

I tried this when I purchased the pu erh sampler kit. I LOVED the chorange!! I really enjoyed the hazel berry too, but following up the chorange it kinda got lost. I was so busy reordering a bag of the chorange (could NOT be without that one!!) I simply forgot about the hazel berry. after a few weeks I found what was left of the sample. enough for 1 cup and thought hum, this is really good, I missed this. So I'm actually on line today to order a bag of the hazel berry to put into rotation. Being a pu erh lover!!! How can I have enough options!! This is really a beautiful blend. can't say it's my fav, but can say it's 2nd or 3rd in the Pu erh blends!!!

Smells fruity and tastes terrific! Will definitely buy again.

★★★★☆

Decided to give this tea a try, even though I've had bad experiences with similar teas from other companies. This tea is not my favorite, but it is pretty tasty, so I would buy it again.

★★★★★

This tea has a nice smoky, deep flavor, which is beautifully tempered by the upbeat berry taste. I would describe it as dewy, maybe a little musty, almost like damp forest earth. Then you've got that lovely touch of chocolate and hazelnut, which is enough to make you melt. Overall, it's very complex and took a little getting used to, but I find I really enjoy it now! Have not tried it iced yet but that could be interesting.

★★★★☆

Quite a strong tea, with a good nutty taste. it reminded me slightly of nutella spread onto a cracker. Definitely a dessert tea, it was almost overly sweet (and I like my tea sweet) but nice as treat.

I tend to choose this one over all others in my tea basket!

Favorite pu erh tea so far. The earthiness of the pu erh goes really well with the tang of berry. Second brewing was better than the first.
