This was the worst flavor I have ever tasted. I tried to force it down, but I couldn't make it through half a cup. Maybe it's the hazel/coco flavor. I tried another pu erh and I didn't like it at all either. I think it's safe to say that this will be my last one.
I loved this tea! It reminded me of Cap'n Crunch with Crunch Berries breakfast cereal but tastier and it didn't cut the roof of my mouth. I'll definitely buy again.
Not my favorite tea, but definitely up there. It has this lovely nutty flavor that works well when mixed with the cream tea adagio sells. Thumbs up for this one!
I love this tea! I did not expect it to be as smooth and sweet as it actually is, but it is certainly wonderful. You can definitely taste the strawberry and cream in this, so make sure you like that.
The smell of this tea is a little funky to me. I can't quite put my finger on it, but it's just a little off. This is my first pu erh so I'm not sure if it's that or the the hazleberry. I can't get used to it, wouldn't do it again.

I really like this tea. It's very smooth, and the strawberry, hazelnut and cream flavors are very well-balanced. None overpowers the others, and the earthiness of the pu-erh is still there. If you're looking for the healthiness that pu-erh purportedly gives you but are turned off by the flavor of even a good pu-erh, I would suggest giving this one a try--unless for some reason you don't like the taste of strawberries and cream (is that even possible?).
Love the flavors. The hazelnut comes through and is fantastic with some milk or cream.
I'm not crazy about this tea - it was my first taste of Pu erh... on the 2nd cup, it was better, just not my favorite.

This flavor was not what I was hoping for, sadly. As I've said in other reviews, when I joined Adagio, I told myself I'd try everything I could. I'm not sure if it was the cocoa flavor or the strawberry flavor that didn't quite sit right on my palate, but I will be trying other pu erh varieties. While I didn't enjoy hazelberry at all, I chose 'ok' because I did find my sample bag a home with a coworker who said she really enjoyed it with some sweetener. :)
I was not a fan of just plain pu erh, but this mix is fantastic! was pleasantly surprised with how good my sample was, and will def order more in the future.
When I first opened this tea I hated the smell. I've never been a fan of any of the teas that include 'cream' flavoring. However, the scent doesn't really carry over into the flavor of the tea, and I found that it just tasted like a smooth black tea without any cream, strawberry or hazelnut flavor at all.

I think I am addicted to this tea. It has a nice undertone of the cream along with the hint of berry. It is a smooth blend that I first purchased as 15 tea bags and re-ordered the larger loose tea and am now steeping 3-4 cups daily. I even like this as an iced tea. No need for sugar and winter will find this nice as I can almost close my eyes and think there is cream already added. My favorite so far!!
This continues to be one of my favorite teas when I need energy. It has serious kick, but a great smooth flavor.
The hazelberry smooths out and balances the deep, earthy flavor of the pu erh. This is my favorite pu erh tea.
Very smooth. The hint of strawberry was great. The hazelnut tasted a bit artificial. But I really liked it with a bit of vanilla almond milk!

This is my first taste of pu erh. As promised, it's flavorful without being at all acidic or astringent. The nut and berry flavors complement each other beautifully.
This tea was surprisingly sweet. I'm looking forward to getting my wife to try it. She likes strictly only very sweet things. And this tasted like fruity pebbles. It was sort of brilliant, really. I didn't expect it at all. Either to like it once I tasted how sweet it was or for it to taste like this with my previous experience with pu erh teas.

I totally get why some say it tastes like Fruity Pebbles. It's very fruity, and the hazelnut gives it a fabulous warm and comforting note. I have yet to try it with cream, but I'm sure I will love it. I'm very glad I tried this :)

Delicious. I think this might be my favorite of everything I have ordered so far. Earthy and creamy with just a little bit of strawberry. Definitely going to be ordering this again.

This tea definitely tastes like coffee to me, and I do like coffee as much as I love my tea :)
It has an earth taste with a slight Strawberry taste. It reminded me of coffee. Which I do not like, but it is a good replacement. I really did enjoy it, with milk and honey. I made it for my Boyfriend and I to try. I steeped it for a shorter time not allowing it to get too dark. And it was wonderful. I am going to reorder more of this. He loved it, as she started doing yoga with each sip in my kitchen. And I loved as I was beating him with the empty sample bag.

The sweet flavors of hazelnut and berry soften the pu erh earthiness. Enjoyable, and not really artificial tasting, yet the reviews comparing it to various brightly colored fruity cereals are accurate too. Maybe it's the scent that's more artificial than the flavor.

I think as a hot drink, this is the perfect pu erh pairing. I didn't like it once it cooled though.
This is by far my favorite pu erh tea, it's very rich and the strawberry is so slight it's almost not recognizable. When cream is added it has the most beautiful light pink tea color. Love it, my first reorder :D
I wasn't expecting to like this tea but ended up really loving it. I thought all pu erh had a bitter soil, earthy taste, but this tea is smooth and not at all 'dirty.' I brew it with a touch of milk and honey. It's a real treat!

One of my favorite teas ever! Nice flavor and good and strong. Can taste and smell both the berry and the hazelnut flavors.

I am slowly making my way through all the tea and just had to comment on the pu erh hazelberry. This is by far one of my top 3 favorite teas! It is soothing and yummy. I used up the first bag of tea very quickly, so now I will be buying more. :)
Like strawberry and creme, but with a nutty finish. I can't help but adding sugar to this, but its well worth it.
Smooth creamy flavor with a strawberry flavor, and a little bit of cocoa. Tastes a lot like a mixed Neapolitan ice cream to me.

There is ALOT of flavor in this. Definately something I would suggest brewed as an iced drink. Before you try this though, you really need to see if you like pu erh teas first. Alot of the negative comments on this page has to do with the fact that people had never had a pu erh tea before and were startled by the taste when it didn't taste like a flavored black tea.

Truly a dessert tea and a very good introduction to the world of pu erh. Smooth, sweet, and substantial. Earthiness is to a minimum compared to the dante variety. Good for husbands that are not sure if they like hot tea. XD
Its the better pu erh blend out of most of them for adagio.
One of my favorites from Adagio, and this batch is just as lovely. I'm on the second steeping of my first cup already! Love how each steep only brings out more in this tea.
I try not to run out of this, my favorites. Flavors blend nothing overpowers, not artificial tasting. Can steep twice easily.
This was my first time tasting pu erh. I tried it twice in case I made a mistake the first time, but both times it tasted like the mud pie you accidentally ate while playing in the dirt as a child. The earth/dirt flavor (for me) was very prominent and the hazelberry was too artificial for me. Overall, made me feel nauseous, but don't take my word for it, many others liked it!
