Too pungent for me. I think it has less to do with the flavor but the fact that this was my first pu erh tea and I didn't like it too much.
Pu Erh with rich hazelnut and playful strawberry with a hint of cream.

Too pungent for me. I think it has less to do with the flavor but the fact that this was my first pu erh tea and I didn't like it too much.
This tea is crazy flavorful but not overbearingly so. When served hot it seems more appropriate for autumn, but I love chilling it and making homemade frappecinos with it for a summertime treat. It's still good if you accidentally oversteep it and you can reuse the leaves for another pot pretty easily. One of my favorites.
This is my favorite tea when iced. The flavor is a bit weak, but the taste is so good. Even when I try to brew it stronger, it is still a bit weak. If the flavor was somehow strengthened, it would be perfect. Nonetheless, highly recommended.
First pu erh blend. I really like this because the favor is pretty consistent blend to blend and never gets bitter. I can reuse this 2-3 times with two teaspoons.
Very musty and reminds of the taste of leather but somehow it's not bad. I think it would be better without the hazelnut though.
This is the first pu erh tea I've tried from Adagio, and I really enjoyed the flavor. I'm looking forward to trying their other pu erh varieties!
This tea was nice and tangy, and also smelled really nice. It can steep twice and still have enough flavor.
an interesting tea that didn't taste fake or artificial. really liked this one!
Strawberry and hazelnuts are the main flavours. Just not my preference.
This may be the most interesting tea I have ever had. The sweetness of hazel berry is so tasty and is def one worth having in the collection.
This was my first time tasting a pu erh tea. I liked it OK -- not enough to order again, but enough to try another flavor of pu erh. The flavor seemed to be nutty but no fruit taste came through for me. From reading other reviews, it appears my problem may be that I don't use sugar or milk in my tea.
This is a pretty good black tea. Has a hint of strawberries and cream flavor when mixed with some milk. I like my tea strong, so, 8 minutes is perfect brewing time.
This tea was almost perfect, but the flavors were just a little too weak for me. It reminded me of crunchberries (which I love), and the flavor that did come across is nice, it's just much fainter in comparison to the earthy pu erh. I've noticed that hazelnut in blends seems to be kind of weaker, so maybe something to do with that? If fainter flavors are more of your thing, pick this up. It's a very nice fruity nuttiness.
This is one of my favorites! Fruity, a little nutty, and great even without any sweetener.
This is one of my favorites! I love that I can resteep throughout the day. Highly recommended!
Oh yes, nice flavor combo. Too sweet for an everyday tea for me (I prefer plain blacks and greens) but definitely a repurchase. Flavors go very well with the pu erh base.
Fruity flavor with a smooth hint of hazelnut at the end.
I was so excited when I ordered this one, and it didn't disappoint. I found the aroma a little off-putting just because it smelled kind of sweet, but it tasted great.
Wonderful. I'm always a little skeptical of dessert flavor teas, but this hits the balance just right. Definitely going on my reorder list.
Definitely not my favorite. Ordered a bunch of sample packs to pick out some favorites. I don't usually like hazelnut so I should have known better. However, if you do like hazelnut then you will love this one! Just a personal preference.
Hazelberry pu erh continues to be my all time favorite tea from Adagio. It smells and tastes wonderful. I love the nutty, earthy, taste with the subtle sweetness from the strawberries. I am usually not a 'dark' tea lover and was reluctant to try it at first...now, I can't get enough. Matter of fact, I think I'll go brew a cup right now!
Wasn't a fan of the tea, it was my first time trying pu erh so maybe that's why.
I really enjoyed this. I did expect it to be a little more sweet and for the berry to be a touch more prominent, but I think this tea would be great with some milk or sugar or even mixed with something more fruity.
This is one of my favorites! I love the combination of strawberry and hazelnut
It smells like Frankenberry!! I will update when I taste it, but the smell takes me back to my childhood :) I'm so excited! Update: It tastes like a complex black tea. It has layers of flavor and I can taste the strawberry and hazelnut, but it's not overpowering. Nice smooth taste.
a good alternative to coffee, with a chocolate after taste
The smell reminds me a lot of strawberry milk. I honestly enjoy it a lot. The tea itself has a bit of that flavor, but it's much more subtle. You still might be able to detect some of the 'fishiness' of pu-erh. It's definitely very earthy. I like it though. Goes good with some milk.
I enjoy the flavor of this tea. I'm relatively new to the pu'erh teas but they are all delicious.
This is a great tea for the wintertime. I like the earthiness of the taste, but wish that there was more berry in the flavor. Not one of my favorites, but worth a try if you want to taste a pu erh tea.
Yum! Tastes kind of like cake. Nutty, earthy, with slightly sweet undertones. Surprisingly, really great cold!
This is my absolute favorite tea. It tastes like Crunch Berry cereal, which you might think would be weird as a tea, but it's delicious.
This yummy pu erh brings the best of berries with chocolate, which makes the earthiness all kinds of tasty. I never knew pu erh could be like this.
This is a very smooth tea, the strawberry and cream are very prevalent. Overall it really reminds me of fruity pebbles!
Rich and smooth with a slight velvety-ness. I keep this one at work because it's soothing and I can leave it in my tumbler all day and it's still tasty through growing cold and being refreshed multiple times.
I got the sample to try it. I'll definitely be ordering a bigger bag! It both smells and tastes amazing :-)
The best tea I've had on this entire site. Very hard to describe. The taste is complex but not muddy.
This might just be my new favorite tea of all time. Puer tea in general has been an eye-opening (taste-bud opening?) discovery, but this is my favorite of all.
I really liked it. The smell was nice and the taste was lovely. It's a nice morning tea for people that are trying to drink less coffee.
One of the best best parts of opening this for the first time is the smell. Its fabulous. And the taste is great too. It hasa strong rich flavor, and I prefer a strong taste over lighter teas most of the time. The blend of hazelnut and strawberries is perfect and neither one is too overpowering or too light. Very balanced and I love it. Will definitely buy again.
This one is really good! It's milder than pu erh chorange but still rich and full.
This is my favorite flavored tea so far from Adagio. Creamy strawberry and hazelnut combine to make an enjoyable cup. I like to make my dessert tea sundae by adding cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract and whipped cream on top- heavenly..
Another one of my favorite flavored teas. The earthy tones of the pu erh are accentuated by the hazelnut and berry flavors--a really good pairing. It's a deliciously rich tea that works better with a little milk.
This is one of my mother's favorites that I consistently order for her from time to time. Definitely the best out of the pu erh line according to her. If you like teas that have a nice fruity flavor then you will enjoy this one.
where do i start with hazelberry? can't go wrong!
I love the earthiness of this tea! It's my favorite darker tea.
If your looking for the easy way into Pu Erh teas this is it. It reminds me of Irish cream liquer when you add milk. I enjoy this tea when my sweet tooth is calling.
This one was okay. Smelled great! It was in interesting combination.
The berry flavoring is phenomenal and it is perfect to drink at any time of day.
To me, this has a berry/chocolate overtone, but it is mellowed by the earthiness of the Pu Erh, so it isn't too sweet.
An absolute favorite. Dark and earthy with a pop of berry. Add milk and this is incredible tea!
