This is a smooth cup of tea. I don't get much coffee taste but is very good with a little sugar free vanilla syrup and creamer.
Pu-erh Coffee combines the earthy smoothness of puerh with the richness of roasted coffee beans and a touch of creamy vanilla. Decadent yet grounding.

This is a smooth cup of tea. I don't get much coffee taste but is very good with a little sugar free vanilla syrup and creamer.
I was pleasantly surprised by this tea. I ordered a sample and really enjoyed it. Somehow Pu-Erh's earthy smell and taste blends well with coffee.
It is one of my most favorite teas! It tastes like chocolate and coffee together, very good!
My spouse loves this tea. It's decadent and has that chocolate-y nature that all pu'erh's have and which goes amazing with the coffee beans used.
Adagio’s Pu-erh Coffee blend is a rich and satisfying fusion of bold flavors. Having tried black tea blends with whole coffee beans before, I already knew I enjoyed the combination, but the quality and freshness of Adagio’s product made it a cut above the competition. The earthy depth of the pu-erh pairs beautifully with the roasted coffee notes, creating a smooth, full-bodied cup with a natural sweetness and a hint of chocolatey richness. It’s a wonderful choice for those who love both tea and coffee, offering the best of both worlds in a perfectly balanced blend.
I was really, really looking forward to trying this tea as I've had some fantastic Pu-Erh/Coffee blends, but this one seems to miss the mark just a bit. I shared this with 3 other coffee and tea lovers and we all agreed that there was a great coffee aroma, but the tea once it was brewed, was a bit average. Some vanilla notes, some Pu-erh notes, but not really much coffee flavor. The aroma was much stronger than the taste itself. That's not to say it's not a good tea. It definitely is a decent tea to enjoy every now and then, just didn't quite hit what we were hoping for.
When I first tried this tea, I wasn't sure whether I liked having a coffee-flavored tea. But it grew on me immensely, and now I think it tastes better than the poor-quality coffee I sometimes buy.
My friend really liked this. Said it had a great blend of coffee flavor which balanced well with the pu-erh
Good tea!!!
Interesting combination needless to say. I did not expect it to be as good as it was. Definitely needed to brew it for a bit longer to get both the coffee and pu-erh flavors out. Found it paired well with vanilla whipped honey or soybean milk.
This is very strange. It doesn’t have a strong coffee flavor so it ends up tasting like stale watery coffee in my opinion. However, I don’t typically drink puerh so maybe I’m missing something. I threw my sample away.
This tea is such a treat! It has a wonderful coffee and vanilla flavor that balances so well with the earthy pu-erh tea. A very smooth and delicious cup of tea!
This is a fantastic cup when I want the feeling of coffee without actually needing to make coffee and doctor it up with sugar and cream. Dark, rich, slightly acidic but with its own sweetness.
This is so fun and unique!! A hint of COFFEE note with the Earthy PuErh vibe! Phenomenal & a wonderful unique gift, to share with friends who love Coffee/Tea Adventures!! They get them all IN ONE, here.
NEW FAVE. This was a GOOD blend choice, Adagio, A+.
The coffee flavor is there enough to give the tea a toasty, richer flavor, without overwhelming the tea itself. The whole blend is pleasantly bitter and a little caramel-y, the vanilla is perfect, and basically this is now my go-to when I want a latte. (Great with oat milk!) This is going on my top tier immediately.
As far as Pu Erh goes, I think it tastes great. As far as the coffee flavor goes, I pretty much just pick up on the Pu Erh. It's still a great tea, just a 4 star for lack of a coffee flavor.
This is a great breakfast tea for people who are trying to drink less coffee. It has all of the strong flavor of coffee.
I'm not sure what makes this one so magical, but it just is. I can drink this all day, every day. I used to drink coffee, long ago, but had to quit due to the acid bothering my stomach. It's nice to have that hint of coffee, without the side effects. It takes the richness of the pu-erh, and kicks it up a notch. It has quickly become a favorite for me.
It's just weird. It tastes as it sounds: tea mixed with coffee grounds. It has the distinct bittery-cocoa-ness of coffee but combined together with tea. It's not bad, per sey, but it is an acquired taste.
I liked this tea, an interesting balance of coffee and tea flavor
Great coffee taste! This is what I have been looking for! It is similar to another tea I was using previously only better!
I am not a coffee drinker but I do like the smell. I have had the sweet coffee drinks but usually only 1 shot of espresso in them. I really like the flavor of this tea with a hint of coffee. I am not sure if it is just the smell or flavor but will buy it again. The first time I steeped it at 212°F and thought it was really good. I will try the 180°F on my next cup and see if it changes the flavor. It is still good when it gets cold.
Loved this blend, it was like the love child of coffee and tea. Mild and not bitter at all, with a hint of coffee taste. I COULD drink it black, but it's even better with a splash of cream. To be fair, it wasn't to my husband's taste, he said it was like weak coffee--- but that just means more for me!
Good for two steepings! The coffee is stronger than the vanilla, though. It doesn't taste exactly like coffee...but it tastes more like coffee than tea.
This is a great tea for those who are trying to transition from coffee to tea. It has enough coffee flavor to satisfy your craving while not being overly bitter. The vanilla makes for a great undertone which adds a depth of sweetness to the blend. Pu-Erh was a great choice for the bas as it's smooth taste really compliments the coffee flavor.
Loved this one. It had some really good chocolate notes. What I really liked was the flavor minus the harshness of coffee.
I love pu erh tea, and this gives it just a little extra kick. I already bought a huge bag after my sample, and hope to keep this one in stock for my usual morning cup
The flavors go together perfectly. It’s bold without being over powering. It also goes well alone or with added sweetener.
I hate coffee. Only bought this on a whim. Just because. If it's cooked into things, then it's fine, but never on it's own. However, I loved this. The coffee taste is more a backdrop to the tea, enhancing it's flavor. And the smell and taste of vanilla is wonderful. A new favorite for my rotation.
As both a coffee and tea lover, this tea appealed to me (for obvious reasons). Upon receiving it, I was not let down. Though the coffee note is light, the initial disappointment quickly wore off as the combination with the vanilla tied it together somehow. Would recommend a longer steep to bring out more earthy flavor. Being allergic to dairy, I can’t inform anyone about adding creamer but a bit of sugar enhances all the flavors and is also highly recommended.
What an interesting combination. Never thought Pu Very would go so well with coffee beans. Perfectly balanced tea. Worth to try.
As someone who loves the smell of coffee but not the taste, this tea is for you! It has a subtle coffee flavor but not overwhelming. Great if your waning from coffee!
Absolutely love this tea! Great combination of pu erh (my fav tea) and coffee. No coffee bitterness so I can drink without cream or sweetener which is how I drink all tea. One of the reasons I switched to tea was to eliminate sweetener and creamer calories.
No taste of coffee nor smell :( disappointed 😞 I was expecting more of smell and taste of coffee. Not recommended
Pu'erh teas are some of my favorite teas. I love the earthy flavor! The taste and feel is always so smooth. I also enjoy coffee, but over the past couple of years I have found myself reaching for tea much more often than coffee. I never thought that would happen, but I find the acidity of coffee is starting to bother my stomach. This tea is lovely and doesn't upset my stomach. The earthiness of pu'erh mixed with just a touch of coffee is wonderful...and the notes of vanilla are there in the background! I sweetened with just a bit of pure stevia. Many, Many pu'erh coffee lattes are in my future! Update: This tea/coffee blend mixes so well with other teas to add additional flavors. So far, adding in a bit of hazelnut black tea is my fav! And, this makes a rich lovely latte as well. Almond or coconut creamers mix in very well. I'm finding this a nice alternative to regular coffee.
I love coffee but am not very fond of Pu'erh tea. I was pleasantly surprised by this. The coffee flavor isn't very pronounced but the combination really works. There is the slightest bit of earthiness but it's so faint that it's barely noticeable and I don't mind it.
This one really didn't hit for me, hot cold brewed or as a latte. None of the preparation methods I tried gave me much coffee flavor to speak of, and if you told me I was just drinking a straight puerh, I would believe it. Perhaps the fact that I only had 2 coffee beans in the entirety of the sample pack had something to do with it. Unfortunate because I think this combo has real potential.
I'm a coffee drinker and Pu Erh is my favorite tea. This blend definitely hits the spot for me and I will be ordering more.
I was totally suspicious of this but it is fantastic! However, as with coffee, not great lukewarm. Keep it hot and you will love it. I drank it the same way I take my coffee, black no sugar.
This was a very good tea! The coffee flavor subtle than I expected, but the tea smelled very coffee-y, which was nice. The earthy taste of pu’er is dominant, so I recommend this tea if you like pu’er and want a little twist.
A wonderful tea that is delicious yet wonderfully strange. It’s everything all the other comments attest to. I love it! 5 stars.
This tea is really incredible. It tastes like coffee smells - absolutely delicious and deeply satisfying.
Amazing!!! I cant even tell its coffee. So amazing. Will definently reorder again
If you want a little coffee with your tea or just have a coffee craving, but don't want to actually have coffee, this is a good option.
Amazing aroma, puerh dominates but coffee flavor is a lovely addition
Just got my order this week. I purchased the tea bags, so easy to work. Omg, it is delicious. Great pick me up!! With a Little Rock sugar, it was heaven when I get to work…
This is excellent nice coffee flavor but still smooth accent of tea.
Pleasant pu’erh and relaxing coffee aromas were noted in my pouch of Adagio’s new Pu’erh Coffee blend. There appeared to be an appropriate amount of whole coffee beans in this mysterious blend.
I used three grams of ingredients (included two coffee beans,) enough for a 12 ounce medium strength steep. I steeped at 185°F for five minutes.
When hot, pu’erh and coffee flavors were mild. No vanilla flavors were noted. No sugar was added, as the blend was tasty enough and didn’t need any further assistance.
When warm, both pu’erh and coffee flavors were moderate and extremely tasty. A very smooth mouthfeel was noted. No vanilla flavors were noted, but I do think it added to the overall smoothness of the blend. No bitterness was noted from either the tea or coffee.
This outstanding blend was a nice and relaxing morning pick-me-up sip! It was good to the last drop. A second steep was just as tasty as this first! Being a espresso drinker, I really appreciated the chance to partake in a blend of my two favorite caffeinated beverages.
(No sugar added)
If you want to share a cup of tea with your favorite coffee drinking person, look no further. This Pu’erh blended with Ladera coffee is delicious! The rich coffee pairs perfectly with the earthy Pu’erh. Plus, your cholesterol numbers will improve. I suggest starting every day with a cup of this blend. Cheers!
I must admit I was not expecting to like this, but I do. My hubby loves it. It has the smoothness of Pu-Erh tea and the taste of chocolate and coffee. This is an interesting and successful combination.
