I didn't like the way this one smelled in the bag, luckily, you dont eat it straight out of the bag! Once I added hot water, cream and sweetener it was delicious!

Really enjoy this one. I've found that a lot of chocolate teas lacks the richness to make the flavor stand out, but the cocoa nibs balance perfectly with the pu'erh. Add in the orange and this tastes like my favorite chocolate bar. Decadent afternoon treat (or whenever you have a sweet tooth.)

This tea reminds me of the chocolate covered orange candy, and it tastes very yummy warm or cold.

It sounded interesting so I wanted to try it, but I don't think I like Pu-erh tea.

★★★★★

This is so good! I think it's my favorite Adagio tea so far--the orange and chocolate flavors are detectable but don't obscure the tea, which is rich and smooth and needs no milk or sugar to be full-bodied and delicious.

★★★★★

An absolute favorite of mine, the tea that got me to try Pu-Erh

★★★★★

Delicious! It has such a delicious fragrance. My favorite Pu-Erh tea so far!

Amazing orange flavor! I could drink it every day.

Really like this tea. Nice body, hints of chocolate and orange.

Perfect blend of orange and chocolate in both smell and taste!

love the choco orange flavor. My daughter was upset you can't buy a real choco oragne year round but this is the next best thing.

★★★☆☆

I was unimpressed with my first cup of this tea, but it grew on me quite a bit, and I just ordered new supply. It's my 'treat' tea.

★★★★★

Really lovely flavor; enough chocolate that's nicely balanced with the orange.

The citrus and chocolate flavors recall the taste of a chocolate orange. Delightful.

it's wounderful

This tea is so good, one of the few black teas that I enjoy without milk or sugar

Very tasty, but needs to be paired with a bit of cream and sugar for the richness of this tea to come out fully

This is not quite as good as I expected. The orange taste is mild and the chocolate taste is not really there.

This is my favorite winter tea. Earthy with a satisfying undertone of chocolate and orange. Even my husband, a diehard coffee drinker, loved this--caught him brewing it one morning instead of coffee!

On first sniff/sip I was immediately brought back to gradeschool scratch-n-sniff stickers. Its that kind of musty/papery smell with artificial chocolate. After having had a Pu Erh by itself, I can definitely see why it smells like that. After the initial nostalgia, The orange flavor opened up more and I was reminded of those chocolate oranges you can buy during the holidays. Overall, its not bad but the combo just didn t do it for me. I enjoy Pu Erh but it was taking the flavor in the wrong direction IMO.

★★★★★

Amazing chocolately orange flavor. I enjoy this tea with some cream, sugar, and a piece of cake!

The orange flavors really balance out the rich earthy taste of the Pu-erh. The orange flavors mellow out on a second steep that is still a pleasant sip, with a warm finish.

Not sure what to think about this. This was today’s CommuniTea and I have been wanting to try it. I’m new to Pu-Erh teas and trying to understand what I’m tasting but I do like it. I will have to get a sample and try it a few different ways to give honest judgement on it.

Update 2/13/21: Bought a sample of this and really like how there are chunks of orange peel throughout the bag. But, after steeping it I got the fishy smell and taste with the orange. Did not like it so I will not be finishing my sample.

★★★☆☆

Too weak on the chocolate flavor. The orange comes through fairly strong but, generally speaking, it fails to get where I want it to get.

★★★☆☆

Meh. I did not care for the Orange flavoring. The Hazelnut is superb!

Nice chocolate and orange flavor not overpowered by the usual strong pu-erh flavor

★★★★★

Lovely flavors of chocolate and a hint of orange.

As other reviews said this is not your average Pu-erh. The earthiness is balanced with the orange and chocolate.

This was my first time trying a Pu-erh tea & im so glad I did. The orange & chocolate made a great combo

I love the aroma of this tea and the flavor is nice. Because of the dark color due to the cocoa, you expect to have a very rich taste but instead the brightness of the orange comes through and makes it a very light refreshing flavor. Do you think it might taste better sweetened or perhaps with another layer of flavor like cherry. Even so, it’s a nice combo.

The Pu-Erh Chorange tea is a good blend of chocolate and citrus flavors.

★★★★★

Wow! I was a little skeptical of chocolate and orange tea but the pleasant flavor of this tea is to die for. It is full of flavor but not overwhelming. It's balanced really well and perfect for anytime of day.

★★★★★

Delicious! Takes like those chocolate oranges you find around Christmas time! Perfect for dessert

I was thinking...this one is not for me. Boy was I wrong! The orange and chocolate aromas grab you as soon as you open the packet. I added cream and sugar and it was DELICIOUS! Love it!!

Might be my favorite. Complex, layered. I'd never had pu-ehr before but it might be might favorite.

I rarely like chocolate flavored teas, so I don’t know why I keep trying them. This one was OK, mostly because I’m not a fan of chocolate. I think it would be well liked by people who like chocolate. The tea is very smooth.

Milder flavor than expected, a delicate orange and nutty chocolate playing quite nicely with the Pu-Erh.

REALLY like the harmonic blend of dark chocolate and citric orange notes. Somewhat reminiscent of a mocha Valencia latte!

Another delicious tea! With 1 teaspoon of rock sugar and a splash of cream, the chocolate and orange notes swirl together and dance! Pu-Erh is becoming a favorite tea of mine for creamy blends. There’s no astringency to it, just a rich base note that supports the delicate chocolaty orange treat. Dessert in a cup!

Delightfully perky yet deep! I love this. Definitely have to be in a specific mood for this citrusy twist on a chocolatey pu ehr, but it delivers everything you’d like it to. Can be steeped extra strong or just lightly depending on the punch you’d like. I’d reorder for sure, but I wouldn’t keep too much on hand because it’s definitely not a daily drink but more occasional. Still, a very special blend. Super lovely!

Delicious! I made mine with vanilla oat milk and it tastes like an orange creamsicle

★★★★★

One of my advent calendar teas! Perfect combination of chocolate and orange.

It is a little better than okay. The chocolate tastes good but can't taste the orange really.
Second time, I like this much better than the earl grey. Pretty good! Would definitely get again.

★★★★★

I love this stuff. It reminds me of the taste of the chocolate oranges we used to get in our stocking at Christmastime--only without the calories and guilt. The best kind of indulgence!

★★★★★

This reminds me of the chocolate oranges you find at Christmastime. Absolutely delicious.

This is such a delightful Tea! I first tried it in my Advent Calendar and knew I would reorder to add to my collection! The orange and coco nibs and chocolate flavors are just perfect not artificial.

I got this tea as a free sample and now I won t let myself run out. Love. This. Tea.

The orange smell is delightful when you open the bag. The chocolate flavor doesn't quite come through on this tea for me though. Still a good tea.

This is overall an excellent tea, I just don't like the orange flavor in teas. I was happy I tried it though.
