This is one of those teas I've had several times and every time it tastes different. Orange is prominent in the initial sip, but the rich mellow puerh becomes more pronounced the more you drink it. If you're new to puerh, this is a good introduction before diving straight into the flavor of earthy oak compost. I've only brewed it western style so far, but it would be interesting to see how it would taste brewed in a Gaiwan.

This is a tea that is difficult to mess up. It's fantastic at almost any temperature and even if you leave it for 5 minutes too long of a steep, it's never bitter. Great combination of flavors with a strong pu-erh base.

Excellent chocolate and orange flavor. Love the funky notes of the Pu-Erh.

This was my first time trying a pu-erh tea and I wasn't sure what to expect, especially with the orange and chocolate flavors added in. It smells like you've kept a chocolate orange stored next to a pouch of dried mushrooms and it somehow absorbed the scent. Flavorwise, it tastes a bit like an orange creamsicle taffy my mom used to get when I was a kid. I can't say I'd drink this every day, but it's definitely something I'd make a cup of as a sweet treat from time to time.

Big fan of Pu-erh tea but this missed the mark for me.

I was surprised by how well I ended up liking this tea! I bought a sample size even though I love Pu-Erh because it's usually hit or miss about how well I like chocolate and orange notes in tea. The delightful blend of orange and chocolate, alongside the smooth earthiness of the Pu-Erh, was absolutely wonderful. Altogether, this tea reminds me of the chocolate orange treats I eat around Christmas, and I will definitely be ordering more of this blend in the future.

I was really looking forward to trying this Pu-Erh tea. I had really hoped to have a mouthful of orange citrus chocolate, but was disappointed. The chocolate flavor comes out nicely, though I believe due to the chocolate flavoring and not the chocolate nibs. I could not detect any orange in it at all. Also, I found it to have a somewhat cloying aftertaste that was not bad, but one I don't prefer. On a positive note, the chocolate flavor mixes beautifully with the Pu-Erh. It is the best chocolate tea I have had yet.

Depth and citrus-y brightness! Such a great tea. Orange is not fake tasting or over powering.

This tea smells like oranges with hints of chocolate. While the tea steeps, a refreshing smell of orange pieces with chocolate undertones. The flavor is sweet like chocolate and has a citrus flavor. Neither flavor is overbearing and make for a relaxing tea for casual drinking. This could be a tea used to get people into hot tea

This is a nice mellow tasting tea. I mostly notice the chocolate flavor in this but the orange comes out as an aftertaste for me. I really like it and it's a great way to wake up.

This is a delicious tea that tastes like a chocolate orange! I add a little sweetener and enjoy it in the morning or early afternoon as it has high caffeine content. While I generally don’t drink my tea with milk, I have tried this tea with it and it does enhance the flavors.

Delicious with a splash of nondairy milk, this tea is nicely balanced. I could taste each element distinctly, but they also melded together for a taste sort of reminiscent of a terry's chocolate orange in front of the fire.

This tea is one of my favorites, not just from Adagio, but of any company I have purchased from. I like it black, without sugar, but milk works well with it.

The woodsy flavor of the pu-ehr goes nicely with the other flavors at play. Adagio's chocolate flavor is hit-or-miss for me, but it works well with the orange peels in this blend!

This tea has become my go to tea in the morning, it's delicious

This is probably my absolute favorite Adagio tea so far and I've tasted lots.

Really good mix of chocolate and orange, perfect for a dessert tea (if earlyish, because of the caffeine). I'm not a fan of plain pu-erh teas, but I think it just gives this tea a darker, smoother flavor. Year of the Tiger has replaced this one for my chocolate-orange fix at the moment, but this will be back if Tiger becomes unavailable...

This is one of my new favorites! It reminds me of a Terry's Chocolate Orange. Both the orange and the chocolate flavors come out really well. Very tasty!

This is a delicious blend. I am not a fan of some of the blends with the orange flavoring but this one is delicious. The savory puerh mellows the orange and it combines to make a yummy cup of tea.

This is really good, but I wish the orange flavor was stronger. The aroma reminds me of a chocolate orange, but the flavor is much heavier on chocolate than orange. It’s still very good, it just could be better.

I enjoy this tea, but I honestly cannot taste much orange. It's more mildly chocolately with a hint of something maybe sweetly orange-y if I was being generous. So, keep that in mind if you're expecting a bold mix of flavors.

This is my favor Adagio Pu-erh tea; the addition of orange and chocolate is reminiscent of those delightful chocolate covered orange jelly candies, but without the sugar. A bit of Truvia added enhances the flavors nicely. This fermented tea can also be steeped longer without the risk of bitterness or astringency, so it's a great choice for a busy work day with all the inherent distractions.

I was nervous to try this tea because I don’t like puerh. But the combination off chocolate and orange is delicious. I can still taste the puerh which is why I gave it four stars but the chocolate and orange flavor make it better. I probably won’t buy it again but I am glad I tried it.

Upon opening today's communiTEA packed of Puerh Chorange i noticed a high quality of all listed ingredients for a balanced blend.
I chose to skip the packaged brewing instructions and instead try a more Traditoinal steeping method brewing my sample for 30-40 seconds each time in about 6 ounces of 205° water. The resulting infusion was a lovely, if subtle, taste.
I still prefer my puerh to be unflavored and without additional ingredients, but this was nice.

12/8/21 edit:
I haven't had this tea in a while and it SLAMMED me with nostalgia. Such rich chocolate and tea smells. Great orange taste, lightly sweet and deep flavor. Perfect for continual steeping.
*Old review*
So the smell from the bag was fantastic-very much orange holiday ball. However, the first brew was earthy, you'd only get the orange from the aftertaste and you need sugar and milk. Second brew was more my palate with the orange and chocolate being clearer, and the third and forth were weaker, but good for iced tea.

I love this tea! The flavors of chocolate and orange are so perfectly combined in my cup. While some might find the earthy, mineral-y flavor of pu-erh off-putting, I think the sweet flavors in this blend do a nice job of disguising it. If you don't think pu-erh is for you, give this blend a try and you might be surprised!

I grew up eating orange chocolate bunnies at Easter. Then came those chocolate oranges at Christmas. Orange chocolate is a favorite combination to me. I have heard a lot about this tea and was excited to try it this morning. I brewed at 195 for 5 minutes. I found the tea smooth and chocolaty. The orange flavor was pretty faint. If I had some oranges, I would have added a slice to get a better balance of the two flavors.

I got a subtle chocolate and orange taste, with the primary taste just being tea. A good not-to-sweet flavored tea. Likely a great latte too.
