Best pu-erh I've tried so far, sweet and not too strong. Very refreshing and it smells like an orange tootsie pop.

★★★☆☆

This was my first pu erh, it was ok, I think it goes better if blended with something with a smoother taste. Not bad really, but not something I'd crave either.

★★★★★

I have fallen in love with Pu Erh tea and this one did not disappoint! It has a nice, smooth, balance of chocolate and orange flavors. Delicious!

★★★★★

This is one tasty tea!!! It's a great morning cuppa and the blend seems to withstand over steeping if I get busy before I can get back to the tea.

This tea is nice and mellow and does not become bitter when steeped a little longer. Something about it reminds me of Coca-cola, for some reason, though the chocolate and orange flavors are also obvious.

I love this tea. It has a soft chocolatey taste with a hint of citrusy orange flavor like chocolate covered oranges. The aroma is so great that it brought my teenage son in for a taste, and now he's in love with it, too!

★★★★★

Beautifully balanced tea. It's nice to have on hand for unexpected guests.

★★★★★

Holy Cow! This tea tastes just like a Terry's Chocolate Orange. Super impressed and stoked about creating a signature blend with a little chai mixed in! :)

I love the smell of this tea. It's like opening one of those chocolate orange's. It tastes just as good as it smells. It has a lot of orange to it and that helps bring out the chocolate as well. For me, adding sugar weakened the flavor somewhat. The orange didn't stand out nearly as much and the chocolate ended up tasting oversweet. Overall this is a fantastic tea that I will definitely enjoy sugar free.

There is a tendency with teas containing citrus to get bitter really easily--makes sense, citrus, sour, etc. Pu erh by itself has a natural tendency to be one of the smoothest families ever, and always offers a clean-palette sort of finish, and combining the two gives you the best of both. Great orangey flavor, smooth finish and medium body.

★★★☆☆

It's the dark and smoky side of chocolate, with a very subtle orange taste. The earthy, smoky flavor of the puerh comes through. The smell from the bag was overpoweringly orangey and perfumey, but the actual taste is more subtle. I may sweeten this one a bit, as the tea currently is a bit bitter for my tastes.

Slightly earthy and very chocolaty. Very forgiving to brew, and with a little sugar and milk it trumps hot chocolate hands down for those cold winter days.

Love this tea! The orange makes it a great breakfast tea. The chocolate makes it a great afternoon tea. The combination makes it a wonderful pick-me-up when the 2pm slump hits.

★★★★☆

I was so excited when I opened and smelled this I ran around shoving it under my family's noses. I was a bit disappointed with the flavor. I felt the chocolate and orange were balanced well, but the pu-erh tasted young and greenish. I'd have preferred a more earthy, malty pu-erh paired with the chocolate.

I like the combo of this tea, it is a bit sweet, but I thought especially improved with milk.

★★★★★

Fantastic! Exactly like a chocolate orange! And so delectably smooth. This one is definitely one of my favorites.

★★★☆☆

I am disappointed. I thought this flavor sounded so good. I have heard others say that pu'erh can be fishy tasting (which this was) and that if you want to try pu'erh, you should get it unflavored. I should have listened. I bought two samples, a bad mistake. I feel like I would love it if there was no fishy taste, as I can still taste a nice chocolaty - orange flavor, but that fishyness ruins it for me.

★★★★★

It really does smell and taste just like a chocolate orange! I picked this up as a sample as I'd never had any sort of pu erh before, and it's lovely. No bitterness at all (even though I lost track of time and oversteeped a bit) and really smooth. I'll have to try other pu erhs now, and buy a full bag of this, too.

★★★★★

OMG! Where has this been my whole life?! Amazing! I can't believe how well Adagio pulled off the whole chocolate orange thing. And with pu erh tea to boot! The pu erh flavor is mild. As are the other flavors. But they all come together perfectly with no one flavor overpowering the other. Add a little sweetener to bring out the dessert qualities. The sweet will linger on the pallet. Mmmmm If you like those chocolate oranges at Christmas time, you're gonna FLIP over this!

I enjoyed the scent. The taste was nice as well even though the chocolate wasn't as present as I would have liked. Maybe I'll try it with a little milk to bring the chocolate flavor out more.

★★★★★

Decided to try a pu erh tea... This is now my absolute favorite tea.
I enjoy mixing the orange and chocolate black teas together, so this was a no brainer. This pu erh tea is perfect. Tastes JUST like a chocolate orange. Silky smooth, slightly earthy, and no bitterness at all. It's like a dessert, really. I can't wait to try the other varieties.

★★★★★

I love this tea! It's one of the only ones I can brew at work without the super kettle destroying it. For some reason I swear the kettle reaches the temperature of the sun. I also found that if I get called away (which happens a lot) overstepping isn't a huge issue. Already ordered more!

★★☆☆☆

I really tried to enjoy this tea. The flavor profile just doesn't suit my tastes.

I'm not a fan of orange-flavored chocolate, so I didn't expect that I would like this tea... but then I smelled it (more chocolate than orange) and tasted it (just as strong as the aroma), and I realized I may have to reconsider my view of the candy. Very smooth, more chocolatey than orange-flavored, but very delicious. A perfect dessert tea, or breakfast tea, or lunch tea... delicious enough to enjoy any time, really!

A most unusual flavor. This is my very first Pu erh tea. The over all flavor of this very nice tea, is somewhat earthen. By this I mean that this tea has a very light but noticeable taste of soil with under lying tones of chocolate and orange. Please don't let this scare you off. This is a wonderful flavor combo and a most curious one at that. As a matter of fact, I am having my second cup of this tea as I write this review. As with most of the tea choices that I have made this one is best dressed out with some vanilla soy milk and bit of honey. I find that most teas (especially fruit imbued teas) produce an increase in the very under lying flavors that may not be noticeable when simply drinking your tea without adjuncts. This will bring out the great flavor or this tea and add a little sweetness. I think that you will be pleased...Steve.

This is a pretty tasty tea, especially if you're a fan of chocolate covered orange peels. It has a strong, slightly earthy orange essence flavor with a light chocolate backing that softens with multiple infusions. Good, but I would rate the pu erh hazelberry slightly above it just because it is a bit more smooth drinking.

★★★★☆

This is a really pleasant tea! It has a very strong, rich scent in the bag, which mellows just a bit after steeping. The chocolate and orange flavors mix really well - each mouthful carries the rush of rich chocolate with a subtle citrusy sweetness. I enjoy this with a bit of Splenda.

I'm quickly becoming a massive sucker for Pu Erh teas, and this one is no exception. What a lovely tea!

★★★★☆

Nice rich flavor. Doesn't taste quite enough of chocolate or orange as I thought it might but there is still a good hint of both there.

Just a great tasting tea. All I need is 2 cups per day for it to do it's job.

★★★★☆

This is nice and earthy. Good blend of the citrus and chocolate.

UPDATE: At first I thought it was alright, but I must have not brewed it well. The second brew was amazing. this is an exceptional tea and I really love this one. You need to pay attention to the brewing times as to not overpower your cup. INITIAL POST: I wish the other orange flavored teas kept this strong orange flavor. I really like citrus teas and stronger-flavored teas, and this hit the spot. My only deduction is the chocolate flavor. it doesn't feel quite right for me and I usually don't like chocolate in my tea flavors (but I like orange a lot).

★★★★★

If you're looking for a pu erh this might not be for you. It's got mild pu erh earthy tones but it's not nearly as strong as they typically are. The chocolate and orange flavors are not strong or artificial - everything is well balanced and this makes for a lightly sweet but very decadent tea. (I prefer the hazelberry a little more to this but if you liked the Hazelberry definitely try this one!)

★★★★★

IS this black magic? Sure tastes like it, in the best way possible. Roommate remarked that it filled the entire room with the aroma of a chocolate tootsie roll. The smell of the dry leaf itself is a very strong chocolate orange. I love smelling the tea before sipping it. The taste is absolutely wonderful - the smoothest tea I've ever had. Chocolate notes more than orange notes, but creaminess throughout.

This is a very nice blend. Not too strong and a good balance of chocolate and orange. I'll get this again.

★★★★★

This tea is perfect for the chocolate lover. The taste is incredibly similar to hot chocolate but without the overly sweet tones. I used three teaspoons of this tea and made five cups and it turned out smelling like unsweet hot chocolate with a nice dark amber color. This would be a perfect tea to mix with milk or some sugar and relax with a good book in the winter weather or to just get rid of the unhealthy chocolate craving during stressful times in life.

smells absolutley delicious. I was surprised by how great it tasted as well.

★★★★★

This is a great cup of tea its warm and good for THOSE days :)

★★★★★

Tastes like a mix between a chocolate orange and a fig newton, but with some earthiness on top. Fairly pleasant and a very nice, not too sweet tea.

The taste is reminiscent of Milano orange chocolate cookies, very tasty.

★★★★☆

This tea, while as earthy as I excepted, did not quite have the full chocolate orange taste I was so looking forward to.

★★★★★

Amazing. I've become such a pu erh fan since these new blends came out and the chorange is no exception. Really delicious.

★★★★★

Another win for the new pu erhs! Though pu erh spice is my favorite of the four flavored pu erhs, chorange is tied for second. The blend of chocolate and orange (cho-range, get it? .)) is really striking, and the result is honestly the tea version of a Toblerone chocolate orange. In fact, this would pair wonderfully with a few slices of said treat on a cold day. The earthy pu erh gives it just the right balance to keep the chorange from becoming too sweet.

I am new to tea and heard horror stories about pu erh, however I wanted to sample it in hopes of reaping some of the benefits. I am so glad I was brave...I love this tea. It smell delicious and taste even better. Great choice.

★★★★★

feels more like a dessert than tea, but sometimes you need that! i love that its not overly sweet, as well

★★★☆☆

This was my first time with this tea. It smelled amazing in the bag, but even after following the directions on the bag, I couldn't taste any of the flavors. Tea was nice but I guess I was expecting something different.

★★★★☆

This is not an 'everyday' tea for me, but it's nice for when I want a change of pace. Chocolate tea is hit-or-miss with me, but I like it paired with a pu erh, and the orange rounds out the flavor nicely.

★★★★☆

The orange and chocolate flavors are relatively mild, sitting more as an aftertaste than a full on flavor in the tea. Very nice.
