The tea is exactly as advertised. Not bitter, does taste exactly like a chocolate orange, and very flavorful. It took the pu erh to make me realize that I enjoy a little bit of bitterness in my tea.
Five stars for a tea tasting as advertised, three for the personal taste issues. The sample sizes are a life saver.

Really nice tea. Love the earthy pu ehr as the base for sweeter notes. I like it best without any additions.
★★★★☆
This is my 2nd favorite of the pu erh fruity teas. It's good in the morning or after a heavy meal. The hazelnut strawberry is still my favorite.
★★★★☆
I like this tea a lot. I don't normally drink any kind of black tea so this was surprisingly good to me. Oh and the zing you get from this is awesome!
★★★★★
Some people may think this is sacrilege, but I really like this pu erh more than I like Hazelberry. It's sweet, satisfies any of my chocolate cravings, and smells fantastic. It's become my official coffee replacement in the mornings.
★★★★★
This is my husband's favorites! You can definitely taste hints of chocolate and orange.
★★★★★
I even shared this one with a British couple riding the Amtrak train across country. They loved it, too.
★★★★☆
Pretty good. Tastes like a chocolate orange. The Pu erh tea base was earthy and smooth. Mellower than I expected.

It smells exactly like one of those chocolate oranges you find in stores. It's got a bit of a mild taste to it, and I wish it was just a bit stronger. It's still good (I just increased the amount of tea leaves per cup), and it also doesn't have the strange 'feel' to it that the Pu Erh Hazelberry does. I'd definitely get this one again.

It's very similar to the hazelberry, which I might prefer slightly to the chorange. However, both are excellent introductions to pu erh in that you get a nice sense of pu erh, yet the intensity of the pu erh is mellowed by the orange and chocolate flavors.
★★★★☆
Don't have much to say about it as pu erh is not really my style, but my friend seemed to like it. Especially more than pu erh hazelberry. Make sure to wash the leaves.
★★★★★
chocolate and orange Blends perfect, I love it! it has an intense and sweet flavor
★★★★★
My new favorite! It was great iced or hot, milk added or not!
★★★★★
Another love at first sip. The chocolate smell is heavenly. I was afraid that this would be too sweet a tea (and it does make me think of those chocolate oranges!), but the earthiness of the pu-erh balances it out with savoury undertones. I would recommend this to new pu-erh drinkers, or to those looking for a little special something in the morning (FYI, this is amazing with breakfast pastries!).
★★★★☆
I like Adagio's pu-erh, so these blends will probably all taste pretty good to me, but I thought both the chocolate and orange flavors were pretty understated. A little sugar brings them out, didn't try it with milk.
★★★★☆
this one totally tastes like a chocolate orange and it has a really great texture. the sweetness isn't too overpowering. it's a very nice cup of tea.
★★★★★
Like most pu erh's just a hint of orange with chocolate. Can't find any complaints with it. No fishy smells like some of the other review's for pu erh's. Definitely a must sample if not buy.

This is my favorite! I love that pu erh never gets bitter, even when I forget about it and accidentally let it steep for 35 minutes...

was really pleasantly surprised when I tried this tea, the first thought that came to mind was that it was so smooth. this is lovely by itself with a soft flavor of orange, and it is wonderful mixed with mate for a morning cup to take on the road, hot or iced.

This was my first time trying pu erh and I just couldn't get myself to like it. It tasted a little like black licorice, which I hate.
★★★★★
Ahh this tea...this is my favorite puerh on the site. Honestly don't bother with the rest of the flavored puerh teas. I've tried them all in the sampler and this is by far the best! It is dessert in a tea. The crazy thing is I would never think I would like this (I've never really liked flavored teas), but this has opened my eyes to the delicious possibilities. I make it with almond milk (vanilla if you got it) and stevia to make it truly decadent.

Very interesting in later infusions... the taste definitely goes through some distinct changes... all good :)

Delicious, warm-bodied tea, not quite like I've ever had before. Definitely will buy again.

I have Had some Pu Erh in the past that were less than quality. I am glad that I gave this one a chance, Though still not my favorite tea (I may not be a Pu Erh kind of guy)I can still appreciate the earthy tones. Where I love a great mineral taste in my tea this particular blend tasted much more mottled or muddy instead of my usual preference. However, the earthy tones worked very well with the Orange and Chocolate notes. I would recommend this tea to anyone who really was seeking out a very heavily earthy tea, otherwise understand what your potentially getting. 5/10

My least favorite of the three pu erh teas I've tried (after Hazelberry and Tahiti). This one needs some milk to bring out the chocolatey flavors. Still good though.

I usually mixed this with one of my other teas (generally a chai) for an extra boost. I don't think I'll buy more when my sample runs out.
★★★★☆
So perhaps because I did not steep it long enough at the desired time, I found the chocolate and orange flavors not as developed as I had anticipated. Still, it's got a very solid base, and with a little milk and honey is an excellent treat in the morning.

This is great for mornings. I have some 5 am wake-ups where I'm very glad I have this tea.
★★★☆☆
Not my favorite, but it's ok. I don't get enough orange to balance out the chocolate. I'll still drink and enjoy it, but it's not going to be my go to tea.
★★★★☆
This tea wasn't for me but my wife really enjoys it. To me the fruit was overpowering and a bit tart, maybe? I never imagined I would enjoy a fruity tea though. It's just not what I look for in a tea. My wife on the other hand, was really wanting to try some so I would say that if you're on the lookout for a fruity tea, give this a shot. If you like dark teas like I do, you may not like this one. I can see myself adding a bit of it to my favorite teas though to change it up every once in a while but I haven't done so yet.
★★★★☆
I have to say, it definitely tastes like a chocolate orange! However, it does mean that the 'pu erh' bit gets completely lost. mostly it works because there's very little acidity. I like it, but feel slightly guilty for liking it.
★★★★☆
Good to the last drop, literally, as the bitter earthiness of the puer first becomes apparent toward the bottom of each cup. The flavor of this blend reminds me of Grand Marnier in many respects.
★★★★☆
I like the pu erh hazelberry even better but this one is good too. Strong but smooth. Flavors aren't overwhelming. Very enjoyable without sweeteners or milk.
★★★★★
Delicious tea--great balance between the smokey pu erh and the tart orange.
★★★★★
Smells lovely in the bag. A faint citrus taste when brewed without sugar. The chocolate comes out when sugar is added, and you can still taste the orange. A tasty tea with sugar.

This is so delicious! One of my new favorite pu erhs.
★★★★★
This tea is amazing! To me, it smells like Tootsie Rolls in the bag, and it tastes like chocolate and oranges. It's delicious. The orange flavor is more of an aftertaste, but it's a good aftertaste. It's not chemical at all. It actually tastes like an orange. I'm seriously considering getting some orange tea or adding more orange peel to see if I can make that flavor just a bit stronger, but it's pretty delightful as is. I'll be buying so much more of this to stock, you have no idea. Get this tea. Do it.
★★★★★
This tea is delicious! It doesn't smell very nice in the bag, very pungent, and my coworkers think it smells like cigars while brewing, but it tastes amazing. Both the chocolate and the orange come through beautifully.
★★★★★
Another birthday gift for my sister. We both love this wonderful chocolate orange flavored tea!
★★★★★
Absulutely love when chocolate is paired with citrus and the smoothness of Pu Erh just makes this.
★★★★★
I prefer plain tea to flavored, but this is one of the better I've tried. The flavors aren't overpowering or artificial, but are definitely present and not too subtle. The puh er is smooth and slightly earthy,no astringency, with sweet orange up front and chocolate in the background. The flavors meld nicely as you drink and leave a pleasant lingering flavor. Good with or without sweetner
★★☆☆☆
I love the pu erh hazleberry and so was excited to try the chorange. Not enough chocolate and the orange flavor tasted very fake.

This tea tastes like a watered down orange mixed with cheap puerh. With that being said it isn't bad. Just not remarkable.

This tea has become my 'go to' daily drink tea. I thoroughly enjoy it - the front has a very mild bitterness that is quickly overrun by slight citrus notes and a bit of chocolate. The finish reminds me of the chocolate covered oranges.

Chocolate orange with the under tone of pu erh funk. Nice if you are craving something sweet not so too sweet. Good for multiple infusions and forgiving on the brew time.

I've never tried pu erh before, so for the sake of adventure, I picked up a sample. I'm glad I did. With its peculiar nose that reminds me of saddle leather, I wasn't sure if I was going to like it, but the chocolate and orange flavors complement the smoothness of the tea beautifully, lingering on the tongue after each sip.
★★★★☆
Really nice orange and chocolate overtones come through multiple brewings of this substantial tea.
★★★☆☆
Eh... The smell is very strange. The flavor is very strong. I'm not sure if I'm steeping it incorrectly, but I'm not a fan at all.

Delicious and full of flavour, Pu Erh Chorange recently got me through a bad cold (Along with Pu Erh Spice) and I'm much better for it. It's got wonderful earthy flavour coupled with hints of orange and cocoa that makes it amazing any time.
