Smells warm and soothing, decadent and soothing, a great fall indulgence to be sure!
One of my favourite teas. It's soothing, sweet, and refreshing.
Ooh I really liked this tea. My first time trying puerh. A friend let me try the spice one but it was just okay.I really liked this one. It's very flavorful.I'll be buying more of this one
I think this is my favorite tea ordered thus far! It has a great strong base, and you can taste the subtle hints of orange and chocolate. The blue cornflower really makes it stand out, though. It gives it a floral, buttery taste that makes the tea really rich in flavor. It almost tastes like you're biting into a French pastry!
After reading the reviews, I really wanted to like this tea, but... it just didn't do 'it' for me. The aroma is quite strong in the bag (and not in a good way - it's stinky). I hoped that after I steeped the tea the aroma would lessen. It did, but not enough. I held my breath while drinking it at first. The flavor has subtle hints of orange and chocolate and the tea itself is smooth and mellow. It's nice, but not amazing. I will say that the flavors became more pronounced as the tea cooled.
I wasn't sure what to expect with pu erh chorange. I initially purchased it for the orange flavor, which is good. I don't think it's bad tasting, but I don't care for the chocolate as much as I thought I would.
This is one of my favorites! It's has subtle cocoa notes that totally satisfies afternoon sweet cravings. And {bonus!} it's full of probiotics. A decision that makes me feel good about myself - like I'm indulging and also furthering my health. :)
Don't like the chocolate flavor. it seems too artificial to me. Or perhaps I don't like the combination of chocolate with pu-erh. I have previously enjoyed a strawberry pu-erh tea quite a bit.
You can taste both the chocolate and orange notes.
Smells like Jaffas!! Taste is okay, I used the recommended amount of tea and it was just right, but then I like rather strong teas, but I would have preferred more orange than what I could taste. It was more chocolatey. I preferred it with some milk to bring out the creaminess of chocolate :)
Probably the most accessible of the pu erh blends, this one has less of the 'old leather shoe' qualities I've come to love from pu erh teas. It's not excessively sweet, but it's 'brighter' than you might expect to come from a pu erh tea. The chocolate and orange compliment each other nicely, though you might want to throw in another chocolate tea into your cup if you're looking for something super chocolatey.
I am a huge fan of this tea, it still retains the earthy pu erh flavor that we all look for, but it has a brilliant hint of orange at the very end that doesn't taste too fruity
This is on of my favorite teas ever, rich, robust and full of exquisite taste!
I like this one with milk and sugar, adds a delicious creaminess to an already well flavored tea. However, it make take a little trial and error to find your perfect blend of milk and tea strength. The cup I am currently sipping, I added a little too much milk and the tea isn't quite strong enough to compete.
The best fruity Pu Erh tea around! Reminds me of those chocolate oranges that you crack open around the holidays.
Subtle taste of orange and chocolate. I was afraid of it might have a chemical taste and be overpowering, but it was not. This is not something I would typically have tried (I drink mostly earl grey), but has been a really nice surprise. I would buy this again.
Oh my goodness!!! Pretty sure I just found my new favorite tea. With just a little bit of cream and I am in heaven!!
Have to use my imagination to taste chocolate or orange, but it's still good. I drink my tea hot, but actually with this one I think the flavor comes through more after it cools some.
soooo goooood
Choc and orange are a great combo! HOT
The orange flavor blends well with the earthy taste of the pu erh.
So good! It's sweet enough not to need sugar, though it tastes great with it, too. It's like drinking one of those holiday chocolate oranges.
It's not bad but when you're used to the Hazelberry variety this becomes a little disappointing. Orange and Chocolate are the big players here. It reminds me of Christmas for some reason and would probably be great then. It's a very good tea but the Hazelberry variety is a lot more flavorful and indulgent. Overall, a good tea but I wouldn't purchase a bigger bag.
This tea is very strong. However, it's also very good for you.
After trying dozens of samples this one is my absolute favorite. It has the spiced warm feel of the pu erh with an earthy chocolate taste and finished with a very slight orange. I ended up ordering a larger bag of it when the sample packet ran low. My husband prefers pu erh spice as he does not like chocolate teas. I think it is nice to wind down to though.
A nice, subtle blend. WARNING: Do not overbrew (past 4-5 minutes MAX) or it tastes like floor cleaner
This is one of those teas that a coffee lover might enjoy. It is also a tea that a chocolate lover would enjoy! The smell is warm and inviting and goes nice with a bit of milk and sugar.
Great orange flavor. Perfect dessert tea! Good hot or cold
I wasn't sure if I was going to like this tea or not but I was pleasantly surprised. I really enjoyed the orange flavor of this tea and it wasn't too earthly tasting for me. I've never been a big fan of the pu erh teas.
This tea is great for anyone who likes chocolate and orange together. It really tastes like a dessert.
Very nice. Great desert type night cap or early cool morning choice. Not too sweet, might add a little milk next time. Wonderful aroma and not too strong or bitter at all.
The chocolate-orange flavor is nice hot or cold. A nice full bodied tea
Earthy, Chocolaty with Orange are a wonderful combination of flavors.
Pu erh might not be my favorite type of tea. I tried the Hazelberry Pu erh as well and much like that one I found this okay but there are so many other Adagio teas that I enjoy more.
One of our FAVORITES! Perfect blending of orange and chocolate.
Rich black tea which is great for an afternoon brew!
I love the earthy flavor and the sweet orange spice. One of my favorites. I love that I can leave it however long I want and it never tastes bitter.
This is new for us, but we are loving it! There are chocolate and orange flavors, the taste is well developed but still light. If you see the display jar in the store, the tea blend is beautiful! Yummy!
If you've ever had those orange flavored, and shaped, chocolates that seem to be everywhere around Christmas time, then you'll be familiar with the flavor of this tea. I immediately thought of that candy when I opened my bag. It's a very warm chocolate taste, with a bright citrus note, and that earthy goodness you can only get from pu erh tea.
I'm not the biggest pu erh fan, and this hasn't done much to win me over. Very raspy. Perhaps I've yet to develop a taste.
A solid pu erh with a delicious chocolate orange flavor. What is not to love? I guess for me it's just a little too sweet. I could drink it sometimes, but not daily.
It was okay. I taste a hint of choco, but not much orange. I was disappointed. Was hoping for chocoorange but didn't deliver.
such an interesting flavor combination that most 'sniffers' surrounding me can't identify this pairing when I have a cup!
This is an interesting flavor, with rich mocha mixed with citrus. Makes a great afternoon snack!
Just ok for me but my wife is obsessed with it.
I don't dislike this tea but it really wasn't what I expected. On the one hand I wanted a slightly more astringent orange taste but on the other hand I didn't care for the pairing of orange with Pu erh so a sweeter orange flavor might have been better.
a little strong for me. good for staying awake. more of a winter brew
I'll just never get pu erh tea, no matter how hard I try. It's just dry, bland, dirty tasting almost. Reminds me of tree bark... Oh well.
The aroma of this tea is wonderful! It smells exactly like the chocolate oranges that are popular around the holidays. It tastes best with a splash of cream to really bring out the creamy chocolate flavor.
Has a nice rich flavor of chocolate and orange, but not overpowering
I love this tea in the afternoon with heavy cream. No sweetener needed. One of my favorite teas from Adagio!
