My friend liked it so I'm assuming it's good tasting!

I bought this on a whim but wow oh wow it is amazing! It tastes exactly like the chocolate oranges that I love buying every holiday season. It's a no-guilt way to satisfy a chocolate craving. It's especially good mixed with a little sugar and milk. Highly recommend!

This was all right, but I wasn't blown away. I think chocolate in tea might just not be for me.

I love that a little cream turns this pink in the cup. With the teeniest bit of sugar, I could taste the earthiness of the pu erh, but the chocolate was overwhelming.

★★★★★

So far I am really loving the flavored pu erhs! This one tastes like a chocolate orange, the mellow but strong earthiness of the pu erh really brings out the chocolate notes and compliments the orange in a very delicious well-rounded cup. Mmmmmm... :)

The aroma of this tea is yummy! It smells exactly like the chocolate oranges you can get around Christmas. The flavor is pretty much the same. It's not overpowering though. You can still taste the pu erh.

In the bag: smells like a chocolate orange. In the cup: smells like a chocolate orange. TASTES almost like a dark chocolate orange. I added a dribble of honey. suspect adding milk as well would make it even better.

★★★★★

It's like one of those smashing chocolate oranges you see around the hols! I love it.

Nice flavor. Smooth chocolate with the tangy taste of orange. Good combo!

To be honest, I don't really care for pu erh teas at all. However, this one was drinkable for me. It has a really strong orange taste with a light chocolate background. However you can still taste the pu erh :/ I know that's the point, but I just really don't care for that taste. If this were a regular black tea with the same chorange flavoring, I would be all over it.

I bought this tea on a whim, and I'm glad I did! I love it, and so does my husband, who I've been working on getting into tea, and he's very picky. This has a very mellow chocolate orange flavor, enough to give the tea flavor without being overpowering. It definitely has a bit of the earthy taste that pu erh is known for, so if you're looking for a typically flavored black tea, this isn't it. On the other hand, if you enjoy pu erh, or want to give it a try, this is a great way to go. I'm definitely going to be buying this again.

It's also worth mentioning that this tea re-steeps really well. I got steeped mine three times before I started losing any flavor, and the last pot was still drinkable.

This really is a chocolate orange in a cup. It seems that I like this better brewed at about 2/3 the amount of tea and a little less time than most other black teas. Also, even though I am typically not a milk-in-tea kinda person, this flavor, like chais, really needs sweetened milk to shine.

Pu erh tea scares me, especially after the less-than-stellar experience I had with the pu erh dante tea. This blend is much more approachable. I haven't decided yet if I like it, but I do look forward to experimenting with it.

Ahh this tea! Out of the bag, it smells of chocolate and orange - like one of those chocolate oranges you're supposed to smash apart. The smell stays as it brews, both the chocolate and orange coming on deliciously. This doesn't need it, but with just a touch of milk and sugar it tastes like heaven. I will be needing more.

It smells very strong when you open the bag, but the taste isn't overwhelming. I taste more chocolate than the other reviewers, but the orange is definitely there.

★★★★★

I wasn't sure what to expect from this tea, to be honest, because warm orange-flavored things tend to freak me out. (It's weird, I know.) When I opened the bag and the fragrance was distinctly and almost-overwhelmingly orangey, I was afraid. But once it's steeped, the orange and the chocolate are on an even footing, and the taste is surprisingly mild, but not so much that you can't taste either the orange or the chocolate. It was definitely fun for a mini tea party on Halloween while waiting for the trick-or-treaters to show up!

★★★★☆

This is my first pu erh. Some have described chorange like one of those chocolate oranges. I agree, it's simply delicious.

★★★★★

I'm new to the pu erh teas, but adagio know what they were doing when I received the free sampler pack, now I'm hooked.
This is a smoky spiced tea with a hint of orange. A great winter tea.

★★★★★

Going into this tea I didn't think I'd like it much since I'm not a fan of chocolate but wow was I surprised. Hands down best tea I've tried yet. Pu erh just has such a distinctly good taste that gives way to orange and then finally a subtle silky chocolate flavor to finish it off. Mmmm I could drink this stuff all day.

★★★★★

This one is great. I love this one more than the hazleberry one. It's one of my new favorites. :)

★★★★★

Fantastic tea. You can really taste the orange and the chocolate without forgetting the tea. Really nicely balanced

I was curious and skeptical of this tea, since the pu erhs are not necessarily my favorite. But this was actually pretty tasty, the heavy earthiness of the pu erh tea blended amazingly well with the dark, sour orange. The touch of cocoa evened the tone into a well-balance, smooth tea that is perfect for the holiday season.

★★★★★

Love the Pu erh teas. Chorange is now my second favorite.

★★★★★

This has instantly become one of if not my favorite tea, personally I think its taste is similar to a chocolate orange that comes as a flavor to one of those fancy chocolate bars but with a nice mellow side to it as well

★★★★☆

Odd name aside, the earthiness of the pu'erh matches with the dark chocolate flavor. Lightly orange and subtly sweet. Also velvet-y. Practically decadent.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this Pu-Erh blend! I first tried this in the Terra Sampler and HAD to place a larger order. Sadly, the 16oz was out of stock. Thank goodness, at least I was able to order this in 3oz. while I wait for the other to come back in stock. This tastes just like those Chocolate Orange balls you find around Christmas time! I add a splash of cream along with a little brown rock sugar... simply BLISS. If you have tried Pu-Erh before and didn't find it your 'cup of tea', try this or the hazelberry, they may just surprise you.

This was my favorite in the pu erh sampler, followed by hazelberry.

This tea is delicious! It's rich and the chocolate and orange flavors are well balanced.

This was really excellent. It's somewhat reminiscent of Earl Grey cream to me, I guess because of the orange/cornflower combination. The chocolate doesn't register to me as chocolate as such, mostly as a dark, velvety sweetness. I just ordered a full bag of this and I'm very excited for it to arrive!

★★★★☆

The aroma and taste of this tea is absolutely wonderful... on the first brewing. Of course, the pu ehr tastes just as good in subsequent brewings, but the chocolate and orange peter out immediately after the first. Which is very saddening, and why I'm giving this delicious brew only a 'good' rating instead of a great. Otherwise, this is a favorite flavor combination of mine, and that first brew is wonderfully balanced, rich, and full-mouthed in texture. Now if only the flavors would carry like in the Pu Ehr Hazelberry..

★★★★★

This is the most amazing! It smells like heaven in the bag, and while brewing. I tried this at work, and 4 different people came over begging to try it.
Chocolate notes with an orange under tone makes this a winner!

★★★★★

Best tea. Smells exactly how it tastes.

This tea has a very pungent smell. Almost sickly sweet. The smell threw off the taste for me, not a tea for me.

★★★★★

This tea is delicious! It is very orangey but the chocolate flavor is still apparent, making it taste just like dessert!

This one was just ok, probably one of their more bland pu erhs, but still good. The chocolate and orange flavors aren't too distinct.

This tea tastes exactly as it should...chocolatey with a hint of orange. It's a great morning tea for the fall and was a good introduction for us to pu erh tea.

I found this to be more bitter than I was expecting, the orange flavor just tasted like an orange peel and the chocolate was almost undetectable.

★★★★☆

If this didn't have pu erh in it. I honestly think the chocolate and orange wouldn't have balanced out right.

★★★★★

I'd never had pu'erh before, and it was great! It really has a great chocolatey flavor, but the orange comes through really well, too. Goes well with cream and sweetener.

★★★★★

It smells and tastes like a chocolate orange! Yum!

I really love this pu erh tea. It is so smooth. the orange and chocolate are tasty but I think a bit overpowering.

★★★★★

This doesn't smell nearly as nice as the hazelberry. It's awfully pungent in the bag, but not so much when brewed.

In terms of taste, it's very orangey. The orange hit me first, with a little hint of chocolate afterward. Took me a few sips to decide whether I actually liked it or not, but the more I did, the better it got. The orange mellowed out some and the chocolate became a bit more noticeable as it cooled.

I wasn't sure I'd like this tea. But I brewed it for 5 minutes and was rewarded with a mellow, earthy tea. It doesn't have any bitterness or astringency. It is perfect in place of morning coffee.
