Sweet and tart, for any lover of chocolate and orange, it's the perfect combination. It's not acidic at all, even with the orange. I love this tea

I might have to get a full sized bag of this next time! It smells lovely, and for me it's a nice alternative to my usual dessert teas when I'm feeling something sweet but a little more subtle.

★★★★★

Roasty, chocolate, not a strong orange taste (but I like that). pu erh is my fave tea - dark and earthy but mixes well in a blend

★★★★★

This tea produces a wonderful orange hue and the combination of cocoa and citrus with the smokiness of pu-erh creates a delicious cup.

★★★★★

You ever have one of those chocolate oranges at christmas? it's like the tea equivalent of that. Completely surprising and amazing

Love love love love this tea!!! Smells wonderful .. Reminds me of chocolate covered oranges

★★★★☆

I was fearful that the Pu Erh would be overpowered by the chocolate and orange, but luckily the taste is pleasantly balanced. The orange taste is a bit underrepresented, but the chocolate and Pu Erh both work together to create a pleasant cup that can be re-steeped multiple times.

This tea is simply wonderful. Incredibly smooth with a strong chocolate and fig scent for the first few steepings. I brew it 5-6 minutes which gives a creamy mouthfeel and deep earthy chocolate flavor. Later steepings have a bright orange taste and a lighter lingering cocoa flavor. Early steepings are great with or without cream/milk/sugar. I prefer to drink the later steepings black. I've had good luck blending this with assam or a black fujian. the former takes milk brilliantly and the latter adds a complexity to the earthiness of early steepings. I'm looking forward to trying a blend with houjicha. Update: It's great with houjicha. However, the second order I got tasted like wet dog (I didn't bother contacting customer support because it was a sample and I'm lazy). The third order of it is tasty- I've been having a consistency problem with adagio's pu erhs in general - it's pretty clear they are having storage issues - and probably will stick to my local pu erh shop from here on out, but I do really enjoy this blend as a confectionery treat when it's up to the usual quality.

Really interesting flavor, a better winter tea than a summer one. Will probably order when it gets colder.

★★★★★

This tea is great for when you need a chocolate fix! I honestly didn't taste much of the orange. I didn't taste much of the pu erh either. All I tasted was the chocolate but it wasn't overwhelming. As with all teas with chocolate nibs you want to clean out your infuser carefully as the chocolate is melty.

I liked this test, but my son LOVED it. Just a matter of taste, I suppose, but I prefer the hazel berry.

★★☆☆☆

If you like tootsie rolls..this tea may be for you. Unfortunately I do not..and could not muster a second batch.

★★★★★

I wasn't sure if I would like this or not, but wow... it's so good!! It definitely does not disappoint :-)

★★★★☆

I really like this tea, but IMO it requires sugar, which is one of the primary reasons I only gave it a 'good' rating, not a 'great'. My favorite teas are one that take milk and sugar, but don't need them -- so the fact that this *needs* sugar makes it a little harder to make on the way out the door in the morning. I also like to steep a little less time than the original directions, with more like 1.5 teaspoons per cup of water -- this tea seems to get very muddy if brewed for too long (might be part of the reason it needs sugar). Overall, though, a lovely tea, when I can put the time into it.

This one tasted very strong and I needed to add quite a bit of sweetener. I enjoy more subtle teas.

★☆☆☆☆

Too chocolatey and the chocolate tastes artificial.

★★★★★

Very lovely on the tongue. Will get this tea again.

Not a big chocolate orange fan but this was really nice to me. I was a bit confused with the smell at first. I smelled a cinnamon orange first, after taking a second inhale the chocolate orange came to life.
Love it with cream and sugar.

★★★☆☆

I guess I might have been expecting something different from this tea. It reminds me of those chocolate oranges that you smack on the table and it breaks up so that you can eat the segments, well this is the liquid version of those..the aroma is much like cocoa made with water instead of milk. Definitely better HOT than it is cold.

★★★★☆

I may have to try this one again, I had it before I knew pu erhs staying power.

★★★☆☆

Not sure how to feel about this tea. Out of the package the smell is strong, wonderful and chocolatey. But the tea itself doesn't taste very much like it smells and it throws me off a bit. It's very earthy. It'll take a while to get used to.

★★★★★

I really enjoy this tea. It's like a sugar free hot chocolate with orange peel

★★★☆☆

Jury is still out on this one. I need to try it a couple more times.

★★★★★

I love this tea. I have one other pu erh tea and I already liked the flavor. This is even better though. It's got a hint of a dessert taste mixed in brought with the orange and chocolate flavorings.

This chocolate and orange pu erh is oh so good. The smell and taste makes you warm to this tea and take another sip towards more yumminess.

★★★★★

I found this tea to be exquisite. It has a wonderful full bodies taste with the barest hint of chocolate. This is fast on its way to becoming one of my favorite teas. I would highly recommend it

★★★★★

Tastes like a Terry's chocolate orange. Great for after dinner instead of a dessert.

★★★★★

This has become one of my favorites for winter. It's very smooth, full of flavor, and definitely comforting on a cold day. It smells wonderful!

★★★★★

Nice flavor. Reminds me of a chocolate orange (hence the name). A nice afternoon treat.

One of my favorite teas. The earthy flavor of the pu erh pairs well with the chocolate/orange flavors. A rich tea that works well with milk.

★☆☆☆☆

I'm not sure if it was the fermented flavor or the chocolate, but I did not enjoy this at all. I had to throw it out. Just thinking about the flavor makes me shutter.

★★★★★

By far my favorite tea. Every afternoon, I mix it with English Breakfast, steep it in the ingenuiTEA steeper and let it pour over ice. No sugar, no honey, just the tea. Very refreshing.

Smells amazing, tastes good. Not my choice for every day tea but good for occasional cup.

★★★★★

interesting different fun chocolate orange blend!!

★★★★★

Not surprising that it taste just like it sounds, chocolate orange goodness. Enjoyed this tea with or without milk but always with a little honey. Pu erh is pretty touch and go with me but I would recommend this to just about anyone.

★★★☆☆

A very strong tea with bittersweet chocolate flavor apparent. I wish the orange flavor were stronger and the chocolate less so to balance out the flavoring. However for those that like a strong chocolate flavor, this is so strong it nearly tastes like coffee.:)

★★★★★

I was hesitant to try this tea because I like plain pu erh, even with no sugar, but the chocolate and orange compliment it well. Great for my mornings.

★★★★☆

While I typically dislike chocolate-orange as a flavor combination, this pu erh chorange really balanced the flavors nicely. The chocolate flavor is far more prominent, and the orange comes out in the aftertase.

Very good! The chocolate flavor was amazing, went well with the hint of orange.

★★★★★

The body of the pu erh takes on the cocoa in a way many other chocolate teas fail to do. The darkness of the chocolate feels complete and seamless. Meanwhile, the orange is a lighter side note, not making the whole experience too zesty - ultimately an enjoyable addition.

★★★★☆

I love the creaminess this tea leaves on the palate. No bite. I love the chocolate and orange in this tea. It's great for helping me stay on my diet. I love the probiotic benefits of it as well.

★★★★★

Oh, wow, this tea though. As a fan of chocolate, oranges, and any combination of, I had to try this tea. and it does not disappoint. It tastes very much like you took a chocolate orange, melted, and drank it. Very delicious - I need to buy more already!

★★★★☆

The orange and chocolate flavors dominated this cup, which is okay but the pu erh came as sort of an undertaste. Nevertheless, it was very delicious and aromatic.

★★★★☆

This has a very nice flavor similar to those chocolate oranges I used to get for Christmas. Though the smell is stronger than the flavor, especially by the second steeping, it is still a nice tea. Plus, if you are not a fan of the more earthy flavor that pu erh can normally have, the chocolate and orange make it quite light and sweet.

I have realized that the pu erh tea is not my favorite type of tea. I did not mind the flavor but the type of tea is not one that I would like to try again.

★★★★★

I don't normally care for the combination of orange and chocolate in beverages, but I had to make an exception for this one. It's almost like drinking an orange mocha hot cocoa when sugar and cream are added. I absolutely love it.

★★★★★

This is one of the most delicious teas I have ever tried. I regret buying a sample instead of the largest amount! I love the rich dark color and aroma. I can't drink coffee, but I oftentimes missed mocha beverages and the like. With this tea, I no longer miss those! I'm not even a fan of pu erh but this is dessert perfection for early mornings.

nice body with orange and chocolate alternating taste

★★★★☆

Very rich chocklet orange flavor. A little heavy for an all day drink, but very good for a special after dinner dessert tea.

★★★★☆

This was a lovely pur erh with a nice chocolate finish. The orange was almost hidden but definitely there and no damn cinnamon which so many people pair with orange like they are grown on the tree together.

I would drink this again.
