LOVE it !! Hearty, a hint of orange and chocolate. Really warming. I drink it black.
Rich chocolate and sweet orange with pu erh for a festive treat.

LOVE it !! Hearty, a hint of orange and chocolate. Really warming. I drink it black.
Beautiful flavored blend--great with milk--an awesome healthy fill in for hot chocolate.
I love the chocolate orange nuance in this tea. This is the perfect blend for cold days.
I've had a lot of pu erh searching for one I can drink on a regular basis, and I have to say the chorange is the closest I've found. The pungent pu erh is smoothed out considerably in this tea. Try it, you'll it.
Clear orange flavor with an underlying smooth chocolate flavor.
Pu erh is just not for me! To each his own I guess
Strong vigorous flavor. also good for iced tea, but must be kept refrigerated. Flavor goes downhill after one day.
Not as good as the hazelberry, but I still enjoyed it. I think both can be a touch too sweet at times, so tread carefully with sugar and honey.
I do not have any experience with pu erh teas. This was an excellent tea. It had a wonderful fragrance and brewed a fantastic cup of tea. I will definitely buy a more of this tea.
Okay, so I got this in a sampler and I have to say I'm just glad I didn't pay for this. It's not the worst thing ever but it's not something I ever plan to drink again. The only reason I gave it bad instead of awful is because of the cocoa and orange flavors. the tea itself is possibly the worst thing I've ever tasted. I don't know why anyone would ever want this but to each their own.
I like this one. It really does taste like a chocolate orange. It's sweet and mellow. I'm finding that I'm fond of the pu erh teas in general.
I was pleasantly surprised by this tea. Warm and comforting, especially on a chilly day. The orange and chocolate flavors work well together, with neither overpowering the other.
Great! The chocolate and orange flavors go well together.
This is a pleasant and giftable tea that would please most tastes.
Smells wonderful. Taste not so great. I might have made it too strong but the orange tasted artificial.
I absolutely loved this tea! The combination of orange and chocolate is delicious.
This one I decided to try figuring it would either be great or a huge mistake. Happy to report it was the former. The aroma is lovely and the taste is even better. There's a nice balance of orange and chocolate without either flavor becoming overwhelming. It's also nice to drink after it's cooled. Added in just a little sugar to help bring out the flavors more, though honestly you don't need it. This coming from a person who always uses sugar/honey in tea. Speaking of, I'm going to try it with honey next.
I selected this tea based on reviews that listed the Orange flavoring that reminded them of the Chocolate Orange candy that comes around during holidays, which I like. However I was disappointed at the flavoring which I could not get that from the 2 tries I gave the sample I received. Just not my 'cup of tea' as they say. Not enough orange component. Also, didn't think I could taste any chocolate element. But sample packs are THE BEST idea to try new and different blends to see what you do and don't like.
A strong chocolate orange taste that is more of a desert tea. However, having this very early in the morning starts the day off to a great start.
This tea is yummy! For some reason I can't taste the pu erh flavor as much in this one, perhaps because it's overwhelmed by the orange. It's good, but it also has a slight taste of coffee and I'm not sure why. The cornflowers are a nice touch :)
This smooth, citrus tea is fabulous! Nothing like an aged pu erh infused with natural orange flavors! This is best enjoyed mid-afternoon for a nice pick-me-up.
This tea is surprisingly not as intense as I imagined. Pu erh tends to be very earthy, which I like. This tea has a more subtle earthiness. It has a fine balance between the chocolate and orange notes.
Good but not great. I experimented with various steeping times and more/less product to try and bring out the flavors but it still was not as flavorful as I'd like. I'd continue drinking if it was given as a gift or sent in my Better Tea subscription but I wouldn't go out of my way to purchase again. I'm glad I tried it but maybe puerh tea just isn't for me. I plan to blend the remainder of my sample with Tiger Eye!
Very warm and sweet taste with citrusy aftertaste. I think the chocolate and pu erh really went well together.
Absolutely excellent. Reminds me of having those chocolate oranges around Christmas time.
Chocolate orange taste is accurate. This is my second favorite pu erh.
Tastes like I expected chocolate orange tea to taste. Smooth and chocolatey with a hint of orange. A nice tea for weekend mornings or when you are lounging around. This complemented my hazelnut chocolate granola breakfast perfectly.
Never actually had a chocolate orange, but if they taste like this, I might have to try one. The flavor was very, very good, and even made me like the pu erh flavor, something I'm not usually too big on (it's okay in some blends, though). The orange wasn't too citrusy, definitely more mellow, and it complimented the chocolate quite well. Definitely try this one if you're a pu erh fan. I think it might even be worth it if you're not.
Not usually a fan of orange favored tea. This tea along with the chocolate flavor make it a tasty surprise .
a yummy chocolatey-orangey taste that's still shines when it's brewed, and doesn't get bitter like i found black teas to be. It's super rich and i highly recommend for anyone looking for a sweet treat and a chance to dip their toe into the world of pu erh teas.
This tea is very tasty, if you like chocolate and orange. It reminds me of the Terry's chocolate orange. The taste is very strong, so if you don't like these flavors, this isn't for you.
I wasn't sure what to expect - I had never heard of Pu'Erh / Pu erh / puerh... and to think, I could boil this for 30 MINUTES and it would not get bitter... So I immediately put the sample to the test... and it filled my room with a rich, almost desert in the oven, scent. When I tasted it, I was blown away...so smooth, so rich, so tasty - yet no lingering bitterness.
I do actually make this with about 12oz of water and one heaping teaspoon full boiling for about 5 - 8 minutes and simmering for another 10-15 minutes and I wait impatiently for my first cup (around 15 minutes in) and my second, richer cup, after I have let it cool.
Get a sample! If you love the bitterness of strong black teas, this may not be for you (I have a friend like that)... if you love a tasty warm hug from the inside of your throat...this may be your new favorite!
The chocolate and pu erh really work nicely together and the orange adds a bright enough note to make the overall cup lighter.
This is one of the BEST teas. I've had a few of the other Pu Erh's here, and some at my local tea house, but this is hard to beat. It's got a nice 'thik' feel to it that the pu erh's have and that's perfect with the chocolate taste. The orange just lights the whole taste up. It's a very 'warm' mouthful of tea! And it's great cold as well, still as hearty. I brew it a lot at work, where I don't have time to refresh my tea ball and it gets better as it steeps. Just add water!
I love the subtle taste of chocolate and orange.
Great flavor ...nice and strong, very enjoyable. One of my favorite along with Hazelberry.
I tried this tea along with the pu erh hazelberry, and although I prefer the nutty flavor of the hazelnut, I still enjoyed the Chocolate / orange flavers that are intermingled in this tea. Its very good. I would definately serve this tea with my friends and family.
I thought I would be daring and try something different. I generally like straigh pu erhs. This is just not my thing. For me, the different flavorings do not meld well with the pu erh and are quite cloying.
I think that if you added a bit more chocolate this would be amazing, but its pretty decidant as is.
Can't pick out the chocolate or orange too strongly, but the overall flavor is nice. I found the scent a little off-putting for some reason too. Not one I'd order too often, but worth getting again.
This pu erh is really compliminted by the chocolate notes and the orange brings out the sweeter tones in pu erh that might be missed otherwise.
Very tasty, better than I expected, will order again.
The chocolate is an aftertaste is this, which I find to be pleasant. Orange is much more dominant in this tea and kind of has a spicy edge with the chocolate notes.
Not much chocolate flavor, but very good roasty and orange flavor.
This is an unusual tasting tea, however I do enjoy it. It is a good Christmas time or winter tea.
I have tried other brands of chocolate orange that haven't appealed to me and this is the first one to have all the right ingredients that combine for a genuine flavor..very rich and heavenly.
It's a nice change from pu erh hazelnut. Though hazelnut is my absolute favorite, I like to change. Pu erh never gets bitter and can seep more than once. Great choice if you are hooked on coffee. Plus I never need to add creamer to my tea like I do with coffee.
Pu erh's can be a bit earthy for people who don't explore tea but this blend is amazing! To my surprise, this was my Dad's favorite when I started helping him switch from coffee to tea. He mixes it with cream and a bit of sugar and calls it his tootsie roll tea, and to my surprise, he's right! It tastes a lot like tootsie rolls. It's the perfect after dinner tea, a bit of pick me up, curbs the sweet tooth, and helps with digestion.
I tried this tea iced first and it has an amazing creamy flavor paired with the deep chocolate notes and the floral orange flavors. Really delicious iced or hot!
This was good. I prefer the pu erh spice. Can taste the Pu erh in this
