This has become one of my go-to teas, especially for first cup(s) of the day. It has a super delicious, bold flavor. I think the orange flavor is a little more pronounced than the chocolate, but you definitely get both. The chocolate makes it a very smooth sip!

Yes this is good. You taste the orange at first but the choclate hits and it's just beautiful. I love this I'll drink this again.

Nice chocolaty orange flavor. Really enjoyed it. Brew at 212 for 5 minutes. I hope you enjoy as much as I have

Another one that has served double-duty (hot and iced) for me on multiple occasions. Love the chocolate and orange essences paired with the pu-erh tea. And the taste stands up to the cold - I add a bit more of the leaves to the brew to amp it up.

Lovely smooth choco truffle flavor with bright citrus. Just like a Terry's chocolate orange! Will be reordering!

This blend is DELICIOUS! The pu-erh creates a fantastic base for the chocolate and orange flavors to layer onto. No bitterness in this cup, only a perfect blend of chocolate and orange delight. It reminds me of those chocolate covered orange candy sticks!

I just can't stop drinking it! It goes down smooth with a sweet and roasted flavor. The citrus lingers just a bit, and I find this to be a very unique, robust taste.

This is our favorite Pu-Erh, reminds me of the chocolate oranges you find in the store for the holidays.

This is like an orange cream chocolate candy. Great aroma. I didn't use a lot of honey in the tea and it was so good. If you're a chocolate and orange fan, this is for you.

A great spin on the classic citrus-packed puerh, this tea in my advent calendar was the one that made me most curious about puerh in general. The malty fermented notes of the tea go great with the chocolate, with no real bitterness like one would find in a black tea. It does help that I'm a big fan of a chocolate orange!

This tea doesn't brew very strong, I had to scoop heavy and let it sit for awhile. The flavor is nice and balanced if mild. Pu-erh Hazelberry is what brought me here, that one is almost opaque and a good sub for coffee, but has strawberries which I am allergic to. Pu-Erh Chorange is more translucent and takes a long brewing time to get darker.
★★★★★
This tea is smooth and chocolatey with a hint of orange, perfect as is or blended with other teas for flavor and boldness!
★★★★★
A delicious blend of chocolate and orange that tastes like a sweet treat. A truly enjoyable cup that stands up to rebrewing.
★★★★★
A flavorful pu-erh with discernible flavors of orange and cocoa. Very smooth, holds up to second steep.

I read all the reviews and was so excited to try this tea! I had the first cup on order of arrival and decided to have it first thing in the morning with a blank canvas in the mouth. I really love the taste of orange and dark chocolate... they are both just a hint of flavor and I want SO much more of it. I tried a longer steep and the flavor was bolder but still pure. I will keep this one in my stash!

The smell is wonderful, it smelled like Halloween. But the flavor just isn't for me, is was just okay.

Definitely smells like chocolate and orange from the packet. 3 min @ 165 The orange scent has lightened and the chocolate takes the stage. Nice chocolate flavor with a hint of orange. Very smooth, no bitterness or astringency. I highly recommend for fans of chocolate and orange.

2/5/23 I feel I have become ca much better tea person since I wrote the previous review. Today I quite enjoyed the tea. Nice chocolate & orange flavors. I did add a little creamer to the hot version and liked it even better. Glad I tried this tea again!
I did not enjoy today's tea. I could taste the chocolate with a bitter aftertaste. I added creamer and it didn't help.

I have been tasting a lot more chocolate teas since I joined the adagio group. This tea is nice with the orange complementing the chocolate. Airs a nice dessert tea. I enjoyed with a little honey.

A definite favorite. It was mild but very tasty!!!

I've always been a fan of chocolate and orange and this did not disappoint. I only knocked off a star because it required a bit extra cream for me. Other reviewers mentioned that they used this in blends so I am gonna try this.

While I prefer this in blends, it does do well on its own too. My packet had several large orange peels and was balanced nicely.

This tea is a true work of art!!! It's creamy/sweet//brightness of this tea mingled perfectly. The canvas of the pu erh was a magical backdrop to the symphony of the chocolate and orange that gave this masterpiece depth and color! What an amazingly balanced masterpiece.

When I first smelled the tea before steeping, I thought this would be way too strong. But I did the recommended 5 minutes and I liked it a lot! It tastes like you're drinking a good strong black tea while eating one of those Terry's orange chocolate balls. I gave a sip to my husband and he hated it though. I am a big fan of strong teas, citrus, and chocolate so I think it was made for someone like me. I would definitely drink this again, but I wouldn't drink it daily.

ETA feb 5 ‘24. Tried without milk this time and it really does allow the flavor to shine if I don’t add anything. And smells wonderful!
I was gifted this on my birthday but didn’t get a chance to try it until recently. This blend is so nicely balanced and bright! I actually liked it better without the addition of milk because the milk seemed to dull down some of the citrus flavor.

I think my problem with the lack of flavor in this tea is because I didn't let it steep long enough. This morning, I had to hunt for one of the cats, so it steeped much longer than I usually let it. The chocolate and orange flavors are there! It tastes similar to one of those chocolate oranges that you see all over the place around Christmas. Delicious! I think I need to order some!

This one smells better to me than it tastes. I don't know if I didn't get a good blend in my CommuniTEA packet, but there are very little chocolate and orange flavors in my cup.

I really like Puerh tea. It's just so versatile with a wonderful earthy taste that you can get multiple steeps from and it makes a great base for the flavor profile for this tea. The flavors are very well balanced and are just so yummy! Who doesn't love chocolate and orange!

I love this tea so much! I usually actively dislike chocolate teas, but this one is fantastic. The chocolate tastes like real chocolate. The orange tastes like real orange. The pu-erh is not fishy. Excellent purchase.

I picked this tea for its flavors and only later realized that I never had pu-erh tea before, I love it. The flavor depth is amazing and the taste stays long after the cup is empty.

pu erh chorange is a tea that will make you feel like you’re indulging in a decadent chocolate orange treat. This tea has a complex and rich aroma that combines the earthiness of pu-erh, the sweetness of orange and chocolate, and the floral notes of cornflowers. The flavor is smooth and full-bodied, with a balanced and satisfying taste of pu-erh, with hints of citrus and cocoa. This tea is high in caffeine, so you can enjoy it as a morning or afternoon boost, or as a dessert after a meal. pu erh chorange is a tea that will make you say “yum” with every sip.

To be honest, I'm not the biggest fan of chocolate teas, but I thought why not give the pu-erh base a chance? It might change my mind. Unfortunately, that wasn't really the case though I have learned that adding a bit of oatmilk to my cup helps with the taste. I barely got any hint of orange flavor so this one is a miss for me.

The pu-erh itself isn't very strong, but the underlying flavors are delicious. More orange than chocolate.

A wonderful pu-erh! I ordered this after having the pu-erh sampler box. It's still full of flavor on the resteeps (I've done up to 4 resteeps in an afternoon) and is one of the closest teas to the Year of the Tiger tea, which I loved.

I am very much a chocolate tea fan and this one was delightfully different. The flavors were balanced. The orange is subtle but there. Did a great job on a second brew. And the flavors intensified when I brewed hot and then chilled overnight (without the tea bag). Highly recommend you try chilling after a hot brew.

The first thing I noticed was the aroma of holiday chocolate oranges. That carried through to the flavor, albeit much more delicately. The puerh flavor takes a back seat to the chorange in a not entirely negative way.

I've tried doing several infusions with this (with and without rinsing), but I think that maybe 'flavored' pu-erhs just aren't my cup of tea. There also isn't as much chocolate flavor as I was hoping.
