One of my favorite chocolates is a chocolate covered orange peel and this tea tastes just like it. I highly recommend this tea

One of my favorite chocolates is a chocolate covered orange peel and this tea tastes just like it. I highly recommend this tea
!!!
This is a delightful blend of pu-erh tea. With a good blend of dark chocolate and orange flavor, it's smooth, earthy and doesn't have any bitterness to it. There's no need to rinse this pu-erh like you would with plain pu-erh.
Amazing flavor! Will keep trying more because how good this blend was
Love this blend! The chocolate and orange flavors are balanced very well together, neither overpowers the other.
It perfect for cold weather. This tea has a lovely gentle chocolate flavor that is comforting. I don't notice an overwhelming orange flavor, but I wasn't expecting one.
This is far too chocolatey for me. If I combine it with another plain black tea it works better. But I don;t think I will re purchase.
Love this tea with or without a spoon of honey. I’m a big fan of Pu-Erh tea in general.
This tea might be my new fav!! It’s very different and I didn’t really know what to expect. It’s somewhat hard to describe but here goes. I’d liken it to the slightly dehydrated fresh orange slices that my grandmother would then dip in melted dark chocolate. She said this was a Dutch tradition made for holidays during her childhood. The tea had a somewhat malty taste which worked well imo with these flavors. If you like oranges and chocolate, I believe this would fit your bill.
A surprisingly delightful cup of tea. It taste like candy without all the sugar. A decadent tea on its own or with a touch of sweet & cream
The pairing of the chocolate and orange is shear perfection! Add a little whipped chocolate honey and I'm in heaven!
An excellent black tea with a hit of orange and chocolate. I really enjoy pu-erh teas and this one is a lovely choice for the early mornings.
It’s just OK. Not much orange or chocolate flavor here.
I wasn’t a fan of this one but I think it may be more to do with my palate not appreciating pu-erh teas. Other than that the flavoring was really good.
this was enjoyable, subtle chocolatey undertones, the brightness an orange adds to tea, and your classic pu-erh pulling it all together.
Andrea: Neither of us have brewed our own pu-erh (or even drank more than a couple cups of it) so I followed the directions on the packet to brew this tea. It smells good, but there's not a lot to it flavor-wise. The deep tea and chorange blend together really well, but it feels like there's something missing. Overall it was an enjoyable cup and I'd like to try it blended with something else.
Lynn: Just not enough TEA taste. The pu-erh was nice, but I was surprised how much I liked the chocolate orange aftertaste. I'm always hesitant on chocolate in tea. The orange was great though and I'd like it stronger.
So I will preface this by saying chocolate and orange isn't my favorite flavor combo to begin with. This tea is light in both flavors to my surprise since I actually let it steep closer to 9 minutes accidentally. The chocolate reminded me more of semisweet or bitter chocolate than rich creamy sweet chocolate which actually worked better for me. The orange was light and natural tasting. I found the orange was more prominent on the cool down than while it was hot. The one part of this tea that pushed it to 4 stars instead of three was that pu-erh base. It is smooth, earthy, but not overwhelmingly so and forgiving of steep time. Decent tea today just not one I would keep on hand. 212° 9 min, oops
While I don't usually care for chorange this was actually quite nice. My sister stole it but the sip i took was quite lovely
The packet has a wonderful chocolate orange aroma. It has a nice mellow chocolatey orange flavor similar to a chocolate orange candy without the calories.
This was a fun blend that I quite enjoyed. It was very chocolate-forward, but the orange was still present. Definitely a nice treat!
The tea itself was nice, I think I was just not a huge fan of the chocolate flavor.
If you like chocolate and oranges, you will like this one! We are not orange flavor profile fans here - so we gave it a neutral rating due to personal preference.
CommuniTEA sample: 10 second rinse, followed by 1 min @ 212, second cup at 2 min @ 212, 3rd cup for 3 min @ 212, etc. A delicious and sweet Pu-Erh blend. Orange and Pu-Erh naturally pair well together, and I was surprised with the chocolate pairing well, but it helps bring out that rich, creaminess in Pu-Erh. I will say, I think the chocolate overpowered both of the other flavors, especially the orange. I like the savory, earthy, rough like taste of Pu-Erh and I would have liked more of that. But, I'm glad that this held up well to five infusions!
Lovely tea blend. I enjoy the pu-erh teas that I've tried and this is a great one
This has a great chocolate flavor with just a touch of orange. I am really enjoying my sample, and this will probably become a must have for me!
This brews a rich, dark cup that never bitters, even when you leave the tea on the leaves. The chocolate and orange complement the smokiness.
This is my go to after breakfast and lunch because of the chocolatey smell and taste. It's marvelous and cures any sugar cravings.
This is my favorite black tea. Smells and tastes amazing.
All I can say is this is one of my favorite teas ever. The mix of chocolate , orange and pu-erh is just perfection in a cup of tea for me.
My new favorite tea, if you like chocolate oranges you’ll love this
This will always be a fan favorite here we continue to purchase time and again. Orange and chocolate in a strong tea, what’s not to love?
I love pu erh tea and orange and chocolate. Perfect combo
I love this one when I’m missing coffee and need something with extra depth.
This tea captures the essence of the chocolate orange eggs you often see around the holidays. If anyone is familiar with the British Club Orange chocolate bars this is certainly reminiscent of that flavor as well.
Mm, I like the chocolate notes. The citrus was very light, and I'm not sure if Pu-erh is really doing it for me.
I was excited to try this one, but it didn't have as much flavor as I wanted. I won't be buying this again.
This tea has a real depth with the chocolate and orange in it. It smells great, too, and we can get a good two steepings from it, which increases its value majorly in my eyes!
A good introduction to pu-erh if you’ve never had it. A nice balance between pu-erh, chocolate and orange. I enjoy this as a mid-afternoon pick-me-up.
Really love this tea! The combo of chocolate and orange with the pu-erh is great. Household staple.
This is my absolute favorite of the teas I’ve purchased from adagio. Smells like a chocolate orange but not too strong.
Probably the most versatile flavored pu-erh-- pleasant but doesn't taste strongly of chocolate or orange so it can easily merge with a lot of other teas to create unique blends with subtle flavor accents and twists.
I actually forgot this had chocolate in it, o it was a very pleasant surprise! All of the ingredients sound so random but the taste is quite wonderful and coherent and blends very well. An instant favorite
This is one of the favorites of the recent additions to my tea collection. To me it tastes like a dark chocolate orange. I tend to brew my teas strong, and this one is better the more tea I use, generally a full 3 grams per 8 oz of water. It can stand being steeped for a long time too, and as it cools to a drinkable temperature the flavor builds. I will be buying this one again in the future.
fantastic blend of chocolate and orange. i have 3oz already in my cart since i only purchsed a sample
I love this combination of sweet chocolate and tangy orange. I tried a sample and went back for more.
This is a perfect tea for autumn or winter. Great flavors!
I really like this blend, you really get the chocolate and it compliments the Puerh well. I would have liked a touch more orange flavor but I will be grabbing more.
Pu-erh Chorange, a bold delight,
With orange zest that’s just right.
It’s a tea with a citrusy zing,
That makes your taste buds dance and sing.
I like this one hot but it’s not my favorite iced. It’s very chocolatey
At one cup I had to review. This Puerh is great...smooth..the orange sweetens it. I love teas not 'requiring' any sugar. The orange is subtle..does not take over yet it is there...you will taste it. The Puerh is Smooth with layers of flavors that keeps delivering. It is one of the best Puerh combinations I have tasted! I make it with 2 bags and twice the water for a morning pick me up!
