I m still trying to decide if I this tea is love or not. It has a sort of earthy quality to it, and I think I may try a shorter steep time to reduce the earthy quality. The orange is definitely visible with just a hint of chocolate. I added some sweetener and milk and it tasted a lot like an orange chocolate truffle. Overall, I think it was a nice dessert tea.
This is seriously my favorite tea. I'm already obsessed with chocolate and orange together, and this tea is the perfect combination of these flavors without being too overly sweet. I'm definitely going to be buying this one again!
Friend recommendation. Said try with different times and it will change taste. True! However I enjoy all 3 different times with longest best since I like this one strong.

This tea is really excellent both hot or cold. It is also tasty as a sweetened or unsweetened beverage. I made some hot Chorange with liquid Splenda and the tea tasted very chocolate with a hint of orange. The taste was almost a heavy honey type taste. I also made this tea in my iced tea maker. My wife prefers this tea sweetened with Splenda but I think this tea is a great unsweetened stand alone.
Tastes you will recognize: Strong chocolate, hint of orange and almost honey like taste even unsweetened.
Earthiness: Most pu-erh teas will have a measure of earthiness, like dirt or slightly fishy taste or smell. In this tea, you will not at all taste the earthiness at all.
I found out the hard way that I am not a fan of chocolate tea. Will not buy again.
This tea is very aromatic in the bag. It smells just like a chocolate orange dessert, with the orange being slightly stronger than the chocolate.
I've drank this tea on it's own, with sugar, and sugar and half and half. It's great all 3 ways but definitely shines with sugar added. It really brings out the orange flavor of this tea.
Also it never gets bitter. I've steeped the leaves for 15 minutes before and didn't notice any increase in bitterness.
This was my first time trying a Pu-Erh tea. I am impressed. The aroma as well as the flavor are really nice.
I don't know exactly how to express it, but this tea has some quality about it that tastes almost identical to those chocolate oranges that you break apart into pieces. It's weird, but really tasty!
great taste and flavor with cold brew. 4grams of Tea with tea bag and 1 Liter cold water, Keep it in Refreezer over night and fantastic cold brew tea That I found
LOVE this tea! A nice smooth blend that reminds me of Fall. Great for those times you just want a nice hot drink to relax.
I enjoyed this tea. But since I'm a fan of true noon-flavored pu-erh, I do not think I will purchase this again. However, the flavoring really errands out, so it might be good for someone who likes all the 'extras.'
Delicious! Tastes just like the Terrys chocolate oranges. I originally just got a sample as I wasnt sure I would like pu-erh teas but will definitely be going back for more!

Next to Pu-Erh Hazelberry, this is one of my favorites. It's got that classic Pu-Erh flavor with a hint of chocolate and orange, but not overpowering.
My sister has been urging me to try this tea for nearly a year and I m sorry now that I waited so long. Very rich chocolate orange taste. Tastes as good as it smell. It s my new favorite!
I love Pu erh Chorange. It's one of my favorites (along with Tiger Eye & my own blend of the 3 nut flavors). I steep it in a 4-cup Pyrex measure, then pick out the pieces of orange that are still floating and put them in my mug before I pour the tea. That way I get a stronger orange flavor after a while. I like the flavor right away and as the orange flavor increases.
My friend picked this tea up first and I’m happy she put a bag in my hands, too!
Wow... After it s steeped, it smells like a wet cardboard box. The flavor is almost as bad. This is the FIRST tea I ve bought from Adagio that I couldn t even drink. I gave my cup (and the rest of my sample bag) to a tea-loving colleague. Even he isn t a fan!
A tea that made me lose interest in coffee. This tea does not get bitter, leaves good for a few cups and has a rich flavor with an orange finish. Lovely morning brew.
I m apparently not a fan of pu-erh. The chocolate orange flavor isn t bad but the earthiness of the pu-erh is going to take some getting used to. Another reviewer on the Pu-erh Dante page compared it to rich earth and that seems accurate to me.

Of all the teas I have sampled on adagio, this is in my top 3. Complex, rich and satisfying.
It s alright but the tootsie roll like chocolate flavor is too artificial for my liking.
Took my first sip and thought, 'Holy cow, I could give up coffee for this.' Dark, earthy, and bonus: Chocolate Orange! I don't take milk or sugar in my tea, and as result I don't typically enjoy flavored teas, but this one has been a very pleasant exception. The orange and chocolate notes are smooth, natural, and don't overpower the Pu-erh, unlike the artificial confectionery referenced above. Years ago I used to enjoy Numi's Pu-Erh, which is much more pungent and robust; this tea has a much gentler flavor profile and I prefer it over Numi's. That being said, I found the recommended single teaspoon per cup a bit lacking, so I bumped it up to a full tablespoon, which seems perfect for my taste. Only downside is, now I need to buy more! I highly recommend this tea.
This really does smell and taste like a chocolate orange! It makes a great autumn tea.
My FAVORITE Adagio tea is by far the Pu-Erh Chorange. It is my go to tea. Love this tea with honey and almond milk.
Love this flavour! The combination of pu'erh tea, plus cocoa nibs and orange rind is amazing. And it all feels very natural -- nothing artificial in the flavouring.

I didn't think I would like this tea, but the reviews made me curious. I purchased the sample and I'm sold. It's rich and delicious.
I love the combination of orange and chocolate, so I had to give this a try. I love it! It smells wonderful and is very smooth. This is my favorite Adagio tea and has taken the place of regular chocolate tea in my pantry.
I ordered this for a friend and we both were a little disappointed with it to be honest. She expected something a little more chocolate-y, and I just expected it to be a little sweeter all around. Probably not a bad tea, it just wasn't for us.
2/11/19 Update - It's kind of grown on me, still not a favorite, but a little sugar and honey added was enough to fix it for me.
I first got this variety in the pu-erh sampler, looking to try out the Pu-Erh Hazelberry, but it 's the Chorange that sold me. It's a warm chocolate orange hug with that lovely pu-erh grounding everything. It holds up well to re-steeping - I extend the time a minute or so each time I do. I had to order more as soon as my sample ran out - I love this stuff!
A rich blend of the musky flavor of pu'erh and a holiday chocolate orange. I enjoyed this most with some sweetener and milk. The smell after brewing is much more funky than in the package, fair warning. If you are new to pu'erh, I would recommend starting with the more dessert like Hazelberry.
If you're into Pu-erh, this is definitely one to try!
I really enjoyed this tea, as I have enjoyed all of the chocolate teas from Adagio. Good for re-steeping as well!

This might be my new favorite tea. It has lovely flavor and keeps getting better after each brew. I consumed an ungodly amount the first evening we had it (not something I d recommend, didn t sleep well due to the caffeine), and enjoyed it tremendously.

My first go-to tea! It is a delightful blend of chocolate and orange in a Pu-Erh tea which is slightly dense like a coffee, but richer, more mellow, and less acidic. The satisfying taste is a daily delight I never tire of.
I was really hoping for a stronger orange chocolate flavor. I still love this tea, but it is more orange than I was expecting.
I love Pu-erh and I love this one! Not too strong on the chocolate or orange flavors. The flavors blend well. To me this is perfect ~ a nice treat!
