I was about to give this 3 stars, but read in another review that milk really helped the tea shine and that was definitely true. Add a splash of milk and suddenly the tea chocolate-orange flavor comes together as the mouth feel matches the flavor and scent as everything becomes a bit richer and more pronounced. Its not a bad tea without milk, a solid 3 that would be good for the holidays, but not my first choice on any given day.

Aroma: Unbrewed, the orange aroma is prominent. Brewed, the tea gives off a lovely chocolate-y scent.

Hot Tea: Brewed at 190 degrees F for 3 minutes. The orange is a tad too subtle – I would’ve liked a stronger orange taste, but the citrus does come through. The chocolate taste is perfect and not overly sweet because it’s balanced by the earthy pu-erh leaves.

Overall, it tastes like one of those Christmas orange chocolate balls you smash open, just with a little less orange-y taste. A perfect winter tea to warm you up. And one of my favorites. Also, the re-steep value of this tea is insane – I’ve gotten 4-5 cups per brew.

Amazing. Tastes like a chocolate orange candy, with a deep, complex finish. My new favorite breakfast tea!!!

★★★★★

This one knocked my socks off! The chocolate aroma was what won me over. This one makes the regular rotation and is fabulous with a dribble of honey and a dollop of milk. Very comforting.

★★★★☆

Strong flavor of chocolate. Took a couple sips to get use to it, but liked it.

Pretty good. It really does taste like a chocolate orange. Might order more in the future, although I still prefer the Pu-Erh Hazelberry.
Update: Upping from good to great. Ordered more. This is my husband's favorite pu-erh of the flavored ones we have tried (hazelberry, chorange, chocolate chai). It's also growing on me.

Very strange taste. First expire nice drinking that kind of tea. Very good when it cooled

This tea is absolutely perfect. It is rich and sweet and full-bodied. It is everything I wanted (needed!) it to be. I was looking to replace a similar tea from another company, and I am so thankful this one measured up! I will be buying this one again very soon.

This is my favorite tea by far! Love the taste, smell, and the digestive assistance! I take this tea everywhere!

I received this as a free sample I was a little Leary to try as I’m not the biggest fan of chocolate orange flavor. However it smelled good and I was curious. I’m so glad I tried this. The flavor is amazing chocolate flavor is rich but doesn’t overpower. The orange is subtle but nice tasting. As a coffee lover this blend is amazing and I have already ordered a large bag. Highly recommend!!

★★★★☆

A really fun tea that can lose its top notes and orange flavor easily, so be sure to use a lid while it's steeping.

Such a delicious and heavy tea. Deep and earthy, yet sweet. It's something you feel like you could almost chew, but not in a bad way. A perfect cup if you want something heavier or closer to coffee.

This is such a nice flavor of puerh! The earthiness of the tea works with the orange and subtle cocoa notes. A good digestive after a substantive meal.

★★★★★

This is my favorite tea! It has a chocolate flavor, with hints of orange. It tastes great with no sugar or milk!

★★★★☆

I really enjoy pu-ehr tea and was excited to try this one based in all of the reviews. I enjoyed it, but can’t say that it is my favorite pu-ehr tea. I found it to be creamy, and fairly orange flavored, but the chocolate did not come through as much as I would have preferred. I probably will purchase again.

★★★★★

Not only does this have a subtle chocolate flavor, but it leaves my kitchen smelling of chocolate too. It's not heavy, which I love. The orange flavor is milder, to me, but it's a lovely combination. I'm new to tea, so I still use sugar and soy creamer.

★★★★★

I love the way the earthy pu erh mixes with the citrus flavor. Possibly my favorite pu erh.

★★☆☆☆

This tasted earthy and kind of like dirt. I didn’t really care for it.

★★★★☆

The chocolate and orange go well with the pu-erh tea.

Not quite as chocolate orange as I would like but it is a lovely tea.

Very flavorful, delicious prepared with any combination or lack of milk and sugar.

I accidentally ordered this - I meant to get the Pu-Erh Hazelberry which is one of my favorites. The Chorange is too bland for my tastes - I keep steeping it longer and longer to try to get more flavor but it never seems right.

★☆☆☆☆

I do like flavored teas, and I like pu-erh hazelberry. But the chorange flavor just did not do it for me. Didn't like the combo of flavors. It was bad enough I literally threw it out, alas.

★★★★★

Full bodied excellent cup of tea. I appreciate the depth of the flavor. For those who like coffee, this cuppa with be a delight. Try it with cream and sugar

★★★★☆

Not my favorite honestly but I put some cream + sugar or condensed milk in this and I really enjoy it :)

★★★★☆

I just received this tea so I'm still experimenting with it. It's good, but for me it's a little too much like a chocolate/orange for a cup of Pu-Erh tea. I really, really enjoy the Pu-Erh Tahiti

Tasty blend for an assertive, smoky tea (Pu-Ehr). Orange-y and dark, a wonderful pick-up mid-day.

I am in love with this tea! Delicious and very balanced.

The few pu-erhs I have tried have a nice robust earthiness with a wonderful aroma when first opening the bag. In the first sip after brewing, the chocolate was present with just a hint of the orange. After adding a touch of honey, the orange came forward and changed the flavor significantly, closer to what I expected from the scent. My favorite pu-erh is still the Hazelberry, but I did enjoy the Chorange and will keep it in mind when I want something a bit different.

Just as good as it was the first time I had it so many years ago. Tried it from a friend's batch of tea. Absolutely delicious! A nice, citrus chocolate flavor mixed with a hint of earthy-ness to help me get through the work day.

Chocolate, orange and tea... what's not to love?

★★★★☆

I've never liked black tea before! I always felt unwell after, and found it too bitter. No more- pu erh tastes how I always imagined other black teas would! Chorange is refreshing and delicious. It tastes great and doesn't make me feel jittery.

★★★★★

Didn't think I was going to like it but my bf and i enjoyed it very much. The chocolate and orange just blended well together.

★★★★★

Delicious and refreshing! Just enough citrus to keep it light but sweet.

★★★★☆

Nice taste. It has a hint of chocolate and orange along with the nice earthy pu-Erh flavor.

Chocolate flavor is strong on the front with a beatiful citrus finish as the lingering taste!

★★★★★

It really tastes like chocolate orange! With that goof Pu-Erh funk

This is truly a favorite of mine!! Enjoy a cup to calm those morning, afternoon, or evening chocolate cravings. All the satisfaction without the calories.

My husband likes this one a lot. I'll have to guard my stash! Delightful iced. Haven't tried it hot yet...too hot outside at the moment, but I'm sure it will be yummy.

My new favorite ... who doesn’t like a chocolate orange and now it’s in tea form ... delicious

★★★★☆

I like it. Not quite a substitute for the blend discontinued by another tea purveyor but I can blend it with another mix and get pretty darn close.

★★★★★

Nice mellow flavor. Just a sligh hint of citrus. Not too earthy either.

I like the citrus flavor in this one, I was hesitant as this is my first loose leaf Pu-Erh but I ended up really enjoying it!

★★☆☆☆

I wasn't sure how I'd like actual chocolate in my tea, and to be honest it wasn't great. Leaves a weird after-texture in your mouth

★★★★★

This is a great morning brew. I would recommend trying a sample first, especially if you haven’t had Pu erh tea, because it’s got a unique flavor. I might also recommend trying Pu erh Hazelberry before this as I enjoy that the most out of the Pu erh teas, but this is still a tasty blend of chocolate, orange, and that warm and earthy Pu erh flavor. I enjoyed this one!

Mild orange flavor, but the orange isn't lost. Chocolate plays well (not too bitter) with the Pu-erh, to my surprise!

★★★★★

Reminds me of an orange Tootsie Pop. A wonderful meddling of flavors.

I love this tea. Chocolate, orange, and that smoky Pu-Erh flavor.

I haven t tried much Pu Erh, so I m probably not noticing everything I should about this tea. For one, I m still not sure what I should add to it, if anything. Still, it s tasty, and I definitely taste chocolate and orange, so I give this one my seal of approval.
