The orange and chocolate notes stand out so well. The flavor of of the tea pairs so well with the confectionery sweetness.

★★★☆☆

It wasn't bad, but i had to add almond milk to this one to balance out the flavor. That being said, not a bad tea for what it was.

Wow! Yum! I was looking to try this one for some time now and was excited that it came up in the Advent calendar a couple days ago as well as in the December Communitea. This is a good blend of chocolate and orange. Like many have said, this is reminiscent of Terry’s chocolate orange.

Okay. I like this tea. It is smooth with a nice chocolately and some nice citrus. I tend to choose more straight black or slightly fruity tea but this is quite nice.

I did not enjoy the plain pu-erh tea I tried in the past, so I went in very hesitant. When I opened the packet, I immediately got earthy chocolate and orange scents, and it smelled exactly like a chocolate orange to me (the whack on a table kind) - which is a little on the artificial side, but in the best way. Brewed, I still got the chocolate and orange scents, and the first sip was smooth, and had a mellow earthiness with subtle chocolate and orange flavors. I was actually shocked that I immediately loved it. The chocolate and orange are both there, in scent and flavor, and the whole experience gives me the 'I'm eating a chocolate orange' feeling. I like that all the flavors are mellow instead of heavy, and that I still feel like I'm drinking tea. As it cooled, it naturally become sweeter, and the lovely scents were there every time I took a sip. Since I don't like to add things to my tea, I love that I can enjoy this plain. Definitely going to purchase this for the tea cabinet. (reviewed through CommuniTEA; 5+ min @ 200F - I actually got distracted while steeping, and I have no idea how long past 5 min it went... but, it was still delicious, smooth, with zero hints of bitterness/astringency)

Smells amazing out of the packet. The taste is not as strong as the smell. I detected light chocolate /orange flavor. Good, but I wish the taste was more powerful.

Followed CommuniTEA Tip to rinse, then steep. first cup, rinsed & steeped 5 mins with nothing added, it’s Chocolate notes mixed nicely with earthy notes, and a hint of orange.
Second cup, re-steeped 6mins, added touch of unsweetened almond milk and Ohhhh the richness of the pu-erh just danced with Chocolate and orange notes! A very soft tea with touch of yum. Since I do love Pu erh, will be adding this to my collection. What a perfect smooth winter morning treat!

But even with the rinse it’s just too earthy for me. Added stevia and still not my kind of tea. But we all have different tastes.

★★★☆☆

Maybe I did my rinse too long and that altered the taste but there was very little orange flavor in my cup.

I do like Pu-erh. But for me this tea was about memories. I remember every year my mom and I would get my grandpa a chocolate that looked like and orange and when you banged it on the counter it would fall into slices like oranges. I do not know if there was something inside like an orange cream or if it was orange flavor? I have never been one to really eat chocolate so I don’t know it I ever tried it. But this tea made remember that, and I would like to believe this tea tasted like that chocolate orange did!
I enjoyed this with some sugar and a steep of about 2.5 minutes.
I loved the orange color that the tea produced as well! I am glad that this was part of the December CommuniTEA. I like my teas to match the season. And this is the perfect tea for this time of the year.

I’m not a Pu-erh fan and this combination just does not seem to mix well together.

Tea smelled amazing and tasted a bit like candy to me. First tried it from the advent calendar and my family loved it so much i had to go buy some more. Very high in caffeine so don't recommend drinking it at night but all in all its a great tea

BEST TEA EVER! I love a good pu-erh, but this one blew me out of the water! I bought the sample size, but hadn't tried it yet and it was included in my advent calendar on Day 5. I thought to myself... I am now wrecked for all other teas. It's truly the perfect mix of chocolate and orange. I added 1 tsp. non-dairy creamer, and it was a creamy delight! It reminded me of the orange-shaped chocolate you buy this time of year. The richness of the pu-erh just added to the delicacy of such a yummy tea. If you're thinking of purchasing, buy more than you plan to. You won't be sorry.

Tried this for the first time in the Advent calendar, and then decided to give it to my distanced family members for Christmas. It reminds me of a German chocolate orange, and it will make my German mom so happy. Smooth, sweet, and delicious as dessert.

I like Pu-erh plain, so why not with chocolate and orange? I find it to be a treat and can usually ge two cups from a regular serving. Has lots of body and flavor.

★★★☆☆

This is not my favorite, although the flavors are strong.

★★★★★

This pu erh is truly 'easygoing' and 'gentle.' The tea itself is earthy but will not overpower the cup - the chocolate and orange come through, but are also not overwhelming. I tried brewing this tea once at double-strength and again for twice the time but still found it pleasant. The tea stood up well to milk and sugar but did not require them. This is not a tea for someone looking for the palate impact of a strong pu erh, but as a dessert tea it rounds out the sweet flavors in a way which a sharp black tea could not, and it can be enjoyed without sweetening additives, which I appreciate. This tea is sweet and soft, out performing orange-infused pu erhs I've tried from other companies. So far, is my favorite pu erh from Adagio.

★★★★★

This is a very pleasant tea. The pu-erh, as usual, is a very mild tea with no tannic bitterness, which means the natural hints of bitterness from the chocolate and orange peel can develop and sing without competing. This tea takes a little bit of sweetener well, developing into something very desserty--this is a great tea for breakfast or after meals, something that feel like an indulgence.

I did NOT expect to love this, BUT I DID. This tasted exactly how it is described. Smooth and delicious choclate and organge tea that tasted natural and delicious. The steep was perfect for my taste, no sugar added but was enhanced with a splash of unsweetened vanilla almond milk.

This tea has an amazing fragrance, although the orange flavor wasn't quite as strong as I thought it would be once brewed. But its still tasty with a good balance between the orange and chocolate.

This was nice- a mild cocoa, almost hot chocolate flavor. There's just a hint of orange, it's not very strong. I added a bit of honey to smooth out the earthiness of the pu-erh. While this was good, I didn't love it. But glad I tried it.

★★★★★

Deeply satisfying, and I feel a guilty pleasure having something chocolate-y for breakfast!

★★★★☆

It s like a smooth hot chocolate with a splash of orange and no sugar! Unless you add your own...

My favorite tea! I especially like it with just a touch of coconut pouchong mixed in. It is warm and comforting and reminds me of dark chocolate with a hint of orange

I thought this was just okay until I discovered that I really like it way oversteeped - 10 minutes or more. A little brown sugar is nice, too.

★★★★★

This wasn't too too strong and had great flavor, the orange really comes out!

★★★★☆

You know those chocolate oranges that come out at Christmas time that you whack on a table to break apart? That's what this tea tastes like.

Its smokey, but has very heavy notes of orange, so it comes off sweet. No sweetener needed

The earthy, vanilla aroma for the pu'erh adds something special to the classic combination of chocolate and orange. Very tasty!

I really enjoyed this flavor combination. It does taste like the chocolate oranges at Christmas, but you still taste the tea. It is a soothing blend, and will be a definite go to when I crave a treat.
