Nice and smokey. A good replacement for morning coffee. Good for a nice cold fall or winter day. Try this one. You will not regret it.
I love the aroma of this tea . . . toasty and nutty.
The flavor ain't too shabby either! Smokey and smooth . . . no rough edges. A good anytime tea.

Wuyi oolong wouldn't be for everyone because of its slight, mild smokiness. I like it just for that reason. It adds variety to the oolong line of teas and is perfect on a cold day when the smokiness imbues a warmth and comfort that makes you look forward to another cold day!
This is my very favorite Adagio tea...so far! Rich, smoky flavor, but also makes a nice light tea if you use fewer tea leaves.
i really adore the flavor of this oolong, and the large beautiful pieces. i like to put the loose tea right in my cup and drink after they've sunk to the bottom.
If you like the strong, nutty oolong flavor, then you aren't going to beat wuyi. This is the best I've tried, but I personally like more body to balance the earthy nuttiness.
Just a tiny bit boring for me...Maybe a little to mellow...but still good, just not my favorite.

A good solid oolong. Nothing to object to, probably a good value. I tried these multiple infusions that people write about and swear by, but for me, it's one pot, and the leaves can then be thrown out.
In my experience oolong teas can range from something resembling black tea to more a green tea. This one seems to fall right in the middle.
I bought it with the hopes of it being a good iced tea. It's ok, but I don't think I'll order it again.

Round, bold and aromatic. Brings me back to my days in China (or at least a good Chinese restaurant :). A great 'comfort' tea.
I love this tea. The smokey aroma and taste aren't overpowering. This is the only tea I drink regularly.

Wuyi ensemble is probably the worst of the oolong teas. I will stick to black tea.
This tea is very pretty and does not have a bad taste, it is clean and nutty, however I find it lacks 'personality'.
This wasn't bad but was far from one of my favorites. The more teas I try the more I am coming to realize I am a fan of the white teas. Some may really like this tea, though.
Very good, but a bit too smokey for my taste. An interesting cross of black and green teas in flavor.

The smell of this tea is fantastic, but it doesn't translate into taste. A definite Oolong, tasting more green than I'd like. I think I must be a true black tea fan.
I liked this better than the green and white teas I have tried, less 'grassy' taste.

This tea is magnificent. The flavor is very bold on the first steep and light and refreshing on the second. This one has been added to my list.
*Update* 19 years later and this tea is still my every day cup. Just the best from a company that only deals in the best.
This oolong has a wonderfully nutty flavor that just makes my mouth water every time I drink it. It is dark and rich but has an excellent flavor.
Nice tea with undertones. I did blend it with other teas, so my next time I will try it solo
Smoky but mellow and sweet, good for several infusions. This one would be great prepared in a little yixing pot.

I'd buy this one again, and I don't usually like oolongs ata ll - in fact, this is the first one I tried in years & ws pleasantly surprised.
A very enjoyable tea, that brewed a light amber cup, with slight lemony tones to it. This is a good self drinker, but is excellent for blending. I highly recommend it.
Wonderful blend of Oolongs that taste good as a morning or evening tea. You can get two or three brewings from the leaves before you throw them away. Each after the first is a bit lighter but still flavorful.
This is a treat to drink.

This oolong tea is a perfect combination , for me, of a distict taste yet mild enough to drink any time of the day. I also enjoy the mellow color of the brewed tea.
One of our favorite breakfast drinks. A rich and mellow flavor.

This is a solid, medium oolong that makes a great everyday tea. The large leaves support multiple infusions, each yielding a slightly different brew. But like many oolongs, you have to use quite a bit of tea to get good flavor. Follow the directions on this one; it can steep for 7 minutes without becoming bitter.

An earthy brew with a woody-grainlike flavor. Very interesting and very good.
