If you are looking for a vanilla tea, this and the vanilla black are both viable options. This one is richer, tasting like a toasty oolong, while still a little sweet and with a tasty vanilla prevading all else. It's not as strong an aroma as the flavored black, but it's a good tea, and has a unique taste, unlike the other, which is good but generic.

A nice, mellow tea with a smooth texture. Excellent for mixing with other teas or just on it's own. I highly recommend it! :)

After trying out this tea at the store, I purchased it. I like this tea with a little sugar in it. Either way its nice and light in taste and does not taste like the artificial vanilla teas out on the market.

My first Adagio oolong. Smooth, delicate, full flavor without being too strong.
★★☆☆☆
I just can't get over the medicinal taste of the natural vanilla flavor. Judging from these other reviewers though, I just must be extra sensitive to it.
★★★★★
I love vanilla teas. I love oolong teas. Yes, I love vanilla oolong! I can't really explain why, I just love it!

I wish I could have tasted a bit more of the 'vanilla' in this tea. Overall, it was a pretty mild cup. Not that that's a bad thing...just maybe not the best choice if you like your tea strong.

I don't often drink oolongs, but I decided to try this one. It's so light, and sweet and vanilla-ey. With a little bit of sugar, it really is like drinking a cookie.

Gist: like chocolate.
Before this foray into loose leaf tea, I had not heard of an oolong. One from the Adagio team said an oolong was her favorite. I smelled all of the oolongs in the store and could tell they would take some getting used to. Rookie that I am, I decided to go gradually, starting with a flavored oolong. I took vanilla.
When I first made this oolong, I tried it without honey. It wasn't amazing, but I attribute all of that to the fact that I haven't acquired the taste yet. Then I added honey to the second cup. To me this vanilla oolong has similar qualities to chocolate when honey is added. I bought a 3 oz. bag, and I brew a cup just about every afternoon at work.
I am a fan.

This smells like cookies and tastes sweet without being overwhelming. A great dessert tea.

I've never tried oolong before, so I decided to go with a flavored one to start. I loved it! A little rich and a little smokey.
★★★☆☆
Wowsa, this seemed really strong to me. Much more of a baked vanilla cookie than the black vanilla. I think I'm just not a fan of vanilla teas straight up but this will be good when I'm wanting a really flavorful vanilla in my blend.
★★★★☆
Maybe it's just me, but the smell in the bag reminded me a bit of kettle corn. This was very tasty, the sweetness of the vanilla going very nicely with the nutty complexity of the oolong. Not sure if it's a tea I'll drink very often, but it was still quite good.

This tea smells like frosting in the package, but I was pleasantly surprised that the vanilla didn't overpower the oolong. The two flavors blended well together for a smooth, almost perfume-like cup.

A fantastic, smooth tea with just the right amount of vanilla. I only wish I had discovered it sooner!

One of my new favorites. A perfect cup of vanilla tea, simple, warm, cream and delicious.
★★★★☆
I really like the flavor of this tea. I have not drunk oolong before, so I don't know if my wanting it to be a little stronger is due to having only black tea before. The vanilla does not overpower, though. I have used this mainly as a dessert tea in the evenings.
★★★★★
I have no idea why I waited so long to order this!? It's delicious! Very vanilla. I've had another company's Vanilla Oolong
★★★★★
I love this tea. It's good on it's own, but I love to mix it with my Earl Grey in the mornings.
★★★★★
Oh finally! A vanilla tea just how I wanted it. Nutty and creamy and not too sweet -- and not at all artificial, which a lot of vanilla teas are guilty of. A medium-strength tea with a light vanilla aroma, but still enough to carry itself through the cup. I never gave oolong much of a chance before, but this makes me change my tune.
★★★★★
Love the smell...great taste...glad I bought this tea. Definitely plan on keeping this one on hand. Smooth cuppa tea.
★★★★★
This is a very strong oolong- not like that's a bad thing! The vanilla is as much a part of the flavor as the tea itself, not just a hint.
★★★★☆
Another typical oolong with a slightly earthier flavor and deliciously potent notes of vanilla. The scent of vanilla pairs up well with the rather strong Oolong flavor (Like the Jasmine aroma does with a green tea), so it's a good combination.
★★★★★
Each tea has its time and place. The vanilla oolong is not going to cut it if you're looking for something that tastes like a latte. You're not going to like it if you are used to sweet flowery teas.
You are going to absolutely LOVE it, if you are looking for a rich oolong with bright earthy tones. This is the kind of tea that you throw the leaves right in the bottom of the cup, and then munch on them when you've finished your cup. A sprinkle of sugar really makes the vanilla sing.

The vanilla oolong is a great tasting tea that I like first thing in the morning. I like that oolong is a little more caffeinated and that I can just pour boiling water on it instead of waiting for the water to cool. Helps me get out the door more quickly. The vanilla flavor is very good.
★★★★★
A very smooth tea, it is sweet enough without any added sugars. It works delightfully as an iced or hot tea, though the vanilla pops out more when it is hot.
★★★★☆
its good but almost at the ok mark. Tasted really funky without milk and sugar and the vanilla was weird. I probably will not buy this again.

This is my favorite tea. It is good cold, it is good hot. I find that I don't need milk or sugar with it, as there is plenty of vanilla flavor for me.
★☆☆☆☆
The smell from the bag was a bad enough start. Once I put it in my mouth it was only a little better. I threw out the bag and will not be buying this one again.
★★★★☆
I like the vanilla oolong much better than the vanilla black, which can be kind of chalky. The oolong is smooth and warm and the vanilla flavoring makes it taste a bit like cookies.

Anything that contains vanilla seems to win for me. However, even more so, I am finding I love to drink oolong teas! The beginning of the spring had me really craving first flush greens and brighter oolongs. I still do, but have found a craving for the deeper flavors of a darker oolong, and this vanilla oolong has the right depth I'm looking for.
★★★★★
Great vanilla flavor. Leaves can easily be steeped twice to get the most flavor out of it.

This was one of the least memorable Oolong samples that I have ordered to date, though I can recall that the flavor was not too off-putting.
★★★★★
This tea was my favorite in a recent order. I enjoy flavored oolongs so this was kind of a no-brainer. I got the tea bags because they are convenient for me to use at work. Will definitely re-order and next time I want to try the peach oolong, too.
★★★★☆
Good but not great. I had to order in tea bag form which seems to weaken the flavor a bit for me.
★★★★★
This is one of my new favorite flavors. I'm a huge fan of oolongs, and this is a perfect tea when I want something light. Great cold or hot. Half the time I don't bother sweetening it.

I wanted to like this tea more, but there's not enough vanilla and the oolong is a little too earthy in flavor. I'll drink it again though
★★★★☆
I love oolongs, and this is no exception. It has a mineral-y taste to it, and the vanilla is a very gentle vanilla--not too strong. I haven't tried resteeping this yet, but it's on my list.
★★★★★
This tea is my first oolong and I am glad I picked such a good one to start out with. The sugar cookie described flavor is very nice.

On first taste, I didn't think this was a very good tea. However, since I had 4 oz to drink eventually it just grew on me. I still think oolong tea lends itself to fruity flavors more than 'creamy' flavors.
★★★★★
I love the vanilla flavor in this tea. Kind of a creamy taste to it.

This is one of my favorites -- a comforting way to welcome the morning. Highly recommended!

This tea was super delicious! I tried this warm and it was a nice treat. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a new flavor of oolong tea.
★★★☆☆
I'm not sure if I made it incorrectly, but the vanilla flavor was very overbearing. Will try brewing again and adding more sugar.

A new favorite of mine. Smooth, flavorful and slightly caffeinated.

Vanilla oolong is my favorite of all the teas but for some reason doesnt work out well using the ingenuiTea but in a larger device it is perfect.

This is the first oolong I've tried - nice vanilla flavor, sort of a green edge to it. Not bad.
