Another wonderful tea but as a word of warning, the tea is a faceful of vanilla.
Naturally sweet oolong from Taiwan and pure vanilla. Brown sugar, honey notes and warm cookie-like flavor.

Another wonderful tea but as a word of warning, the tea is a faceful of vanilla.
Absolutely wonderful! Smooth, nice vanilla hints, enticing aroma - this is a great-tasting tea, even when I overbrewed it!
This is a good introduction to oolong tea. I enjoy it in the afternoon.
Wonderful flavour, the vanilla flavoring isn't so strong to overwhelm the light oolong. Very well balanced.
The vanilla in this one was just too over powering. I gave it to a friend who cut it with another tea, but...just not the tea for me.
This tea has a lovely, mild vanilla flavor, with a hint of nuttiness. I drink all of my teas with honey, and this gave the tea a nice caramel aftertaste. If you like oolong and vanilla, you will enjoy it. Thank you, Adagio, for the sample. I look forward to sharing it with my family.
Nice smooth and sweet tea. The oolong is very good paired with the sweetness of the vanilla.
This tea is very sweet. If you like sweet tea, you will love it. Definitely vanilla.
Who needs dessert when you have this tea? Vanilla and oolong belong together now in my mind after sampling this tea. Sugar and cream make this tea a delight.
This is a comforting tea. Mixing it with herbals, such as wild strawberry or berry blues is quite enjoyable.
What you expect as far as oolong taste, with a hint of vanilla. Smooth, subtle.
Wanted to try some oolong so got a sample. I quite enjoyed it. It smells wonderful and was refreshing with a hint of vanilla underneath. As far as the sugar cookie thing goes, I don't get that at all. Nice cold but it's best hot.
Love the smell and flavor! I can easily get 2-3 cups out of a single serving.
vanilla flavor is not to strong, but has a nice sweetness and aroma.
In the bag it practically smacks you in the face with vanilla smell but once brewed that smell isn't nearly as strong. The vanilla only comes through as an aftertaste or when cold. Not really what I was hoping for with a vanilla tea.
this was super !!! So many oolongs taste so different, and some not so pleasant but this was a lovely surprise, the first sip is just a wonderful hint of vanilla and each thereafter you taste a little more. I can really say I saved this for when I wanted a comfort moment to myself, I was truly sorry when it ended. I only ordered the sample but it will definitely be a larger size next time. This is a keeper.
This tea is OK. I had high hopes for it as I love vanilla and I love oolong. The initial taste is a nice toasty vanilla flavor but the finish, like many adagio flavored teas, is strangely bitter.
This tea was very nice in aroma but not great on flavor
One of my favorite teas. Great mouthfeel with the perfect balance of vanilla flavor. Really great cold as well.
Like a warm sugar cookie. Just the thing for afternoon tea.
It tastes quite supple with a spoonful of honey or two.
I have been trying a lot of teas lately just to figure out what my preferences are...this one I found to be pretty decent. I use it to mix with some other teas that I feel need a hint of sweetness.
I really like the flavor of this tea. I have been wanting something with a nice soothing vanilla flavor, and this hits the spot. I like it a bit better than the rooibos vanilla, too
It's alright. It does the trick, but I'm not excited about it. *Edit* I gave this tea a few more tries and I'm moving the rating up to good. I like it and It's nice to mix with other teas like my full leaf oolongs. It adds a nice warmth.
I added some honey and a little cream and it was just perfect! A little sugar or honey makes it sweeter and brings out that vanilla flavor a little more. The vanilla isn't too strong or overwhelming at all. A great tea for the afternoon.
While I like the vanilla black tea, I like the vanilla oolong better. Oolong is such a soothing tea. The vanilla is pretty much what you'd expect, but still wonderful.
I LOVE oolong tea. And with that hint of vanilla, it made for a bit of a sweeter after taste, but not overbearingly so.
Vanilla wasn't too strong. Smells nice, but I did not get much vanilla in the cup. I may get another sample to see if it was just that batch.
There's a very subtle undertone of vanilla that permeates this tea--and it's delightful! It was one of the first oolong teas I tried, and I found that it blends really well with other simple teas!
I decided to try this tea on a whim. When I first tasted it I was somewhat put off, but after a cup or two I became a fan. It's an acquired taste for sure. The vanilla notes are not exactly subtle but do not overwhelm the taste of the tea. They add a nice counter point to the tea and overall it has a calming effect. After my initial tastings this has grown to be one of my favorite teas
Ingredients: oolong tea, natural vanilla flavor
Smell: Warm, but dry, vanilla.
Taste: It tastes like plain old tea, no vanilla. Adding Truvia makes this sweet and palatable, but it's nothing special.
Thoughts: I steeped this for 5 minutes. Perhaps vanilla is just a weak flavor for me? But so far, all the vanilla iterations from Adagio have been disappointing.
Rating: 1 cup
I found this tea to be perfect for mornings after work when I just wanted to wash the day off of me. Everything about it was comforting, and the flavor was so rich and distinctive that it grabbed my full attention. Also, it's delightful with very plain sorts of cookies, and it makes the house smell wonderful.
honestly the best for my EXTREME constipation it just leaves me so relieved
Vanilla oolong is yummy. I find it sweet. A nice tea for in the evening.
Not as good as tiger eye, however has great overall flavor and good aroma
I had never tried the Vanilla Oolong tea before but it is now my favorite. It has such a rich taste and goes perfect with some honey.
A delicious tea, very mellow with good vanilla flavor.
very interesting taste for a tea but it tastes great
A very easy drinking, simple pleasure of a brew. The wholesome earthiness of a brown oolong, with hints of roasted grain and autumn leaves, with a touch of sweet vanilla. I like using this in blends where I want a little sweetness but as a change from the standard black tea.
Not very strong. I can barely taste the vanilla at all. maybe it'll taste better blended with something.
Why have I not been drinking oolong? This is a grievous crime against my taste buds. The smell in the bag is heavenly. Brewed, it's a mix between sweet cream and cigarette ashes (but not unpleasant? might just be my weird smeller). The strange smell does not affect the taste at all. This might be my new stock tea - the tea I have on hand at all times.
This has become one of my favorite teas! It has just a hint of vanilla flavor, and I enjoy it even without sugar.
It's ok, nothing else, if you like oolong tea and a hint of vanilla then try it.
Not a terrible flavor, but a little too over bearing on the vanilla, for me.
This tea is one of my absolute favorites. Wonderful anytime of the day.
Not a bad everyday oolong. Was not what I exspected but was not bad at all.
subtle whisper of vanilla over a nice basic oolong- lovely afternoon tea- can be re-steeped for a second cup- would be great with a little honey to bring out the sweetness
This tea is amazing! Delicious. The vanilla is subtle, but really adds a nice creamy taste to the tea. It's my favorite oolong so far!
This was exactly what I would expect from a vanilla tea, especially oolong tea!!! It has a very smooth and pleasant vanilla flavor and I enjoyed it very much!!!
This tea is smooth and light, and I liked it just find. I have discovered that I do prefer my oolong to have a little extra kick of foxtrot, or mint, but it was fine as a free sample.
