Ordered this for my daughter-in-law. She really liked it, saying it's taste is unique and high quality, but that the first steep is a bit strong.

very good, smooth with earthy undertones. better with shorter brewing time or gets bitter; also doesn't survive multiple steepings as well as the green oolongs. I still like this tea for it's complex unique flavor and will continue to order it.

I'm not a huge fan of black darjeeling tea, but was curious about this oolong version. It definitely still has the light, floral characteristics of a darjeeling. I drink it every morning as a great pick me up.
I usually brew this one a few times, and each time it's still pleasant, though gets a bit more mellow by the third time. Nice aroma, no bitterness.
Like this tea a lot! Just a very nice, anytime kind of tea.

I love this tea and infinitely prefer it to the heavier darjeeling black tea varieties. It is lighter in color and flavor balance with just a hint of apricot. You can definitely taste the muscat characteristic of darjeeling teas. I love it hot or iced, just a wonderful tea.
I wasn't sure what to expect from this. I've never had an oolong or a Darjeeling before, at least not to my knowledge. So I was quite surprised by it. First of all, the caffeine hit is intense, or at least it was for me. I've been forced to sip it pretty slowly.
On the plus side, it tastes magnificent hot or cooled, so that's not too big a deal. The aroma and flavor of the brewed tea surprised me a lot by being similar to a green tea - not grassy, but sort of mineral-vegetal. The body is very light, close to pure water, but the flavor is not at all weak, which is an interesting combination.
This is not something I would brew on a daily basis - it just feels too special for that. I can't imagine using it casually to wake up in the morning or just sip at while working or going about my day. But if I were having a fancy meal or trying to impress someone, this would be a great selection - I'd feel all mature and classy. XD I didn't time the brew, but it was no more than five minutes.
This is by far my favorite tea that this site offers. It has just the right hints of fruit in it and tastes excellent with or without any additives.
Very good flavor. Easy to drink through out the day. No sweetener is necessary for this one.
This is my first oolong and darjeeling tea to taste. The smell is very light and is reminiscent of a mild black tea. The taste is smooth and also reminds me of a black tea without the astringency and a very toned down flavor profile. Overall, a very enjoyable, delicate tasting tea.

This was a nice and peaceful cup of tea. I enjoyed the second cup (with the same leaves) as much as I enjoyed the first one!
When I first tried this tea, I was disappointed. It was so light and flowery that it reminded me more of a smooth green than a genuine oolong. But I didn't give up. I steeped the same batch for a second time for a full 15 minutes and then: oh my Glob! Woodsy with a more subtle, but unmistakable muscat odour. It's darjeeling, but without the acid bitterness and caffeine rush that, in my opinion, mars even the most carefully prepared black darjeelings.
If you are expecting an oolong then you might be disappointed with this tea. But if you love darjeeling and are willing to pour out the first brew and then wait 12-15 for the second steep, prepare yourself for a wonderful experience.
I love this tea! I steep it 4 or 5 times throughout the day and it tastes strong - but different - each time. I also like how it doesn't get that over-steeped flavor :)
Really nice tea. A little honey seemed to bring out the flavor. I'm still trying to perfect exactly how long to Steep this to get the best flavor.
An oolong for people who like black teas. Has the combination of sharp bright topnote and malty base I associate with black teas, and is a big more tannic than Taiwanese oolongs. Better steeped with more leaves for a shorter time - long steeping brings out the tannin.
Very lovely, one of the nicest teas for making in the morning when everything is a little hectic because no matter how long I accidentally leave it steeping it doesn't taste oversteeped.

This tea will never do you no harm! A very simple sip, but comforting in a way only a straightforward tea can be.
I'm not a huge fan of this yet. But I just got started with the oolongs. It has a decent flavor, but nothing like what I was expecting--which is my fault. So far this is interesting, but I don't like it too much. I have enjoyed the black teas much more (darjeeling sungma summer, fugian baroque, earl grey moonlight, etc). I'll have to update this review later after I've figured out how to appreciate oolongs a bit more. As it stands, this is ok, but I wouldn't order it again (maybe I just don't like oolongs? I'm not sure yet!)
There's nothing too special about this oolong. I liked the orchard sampler better. The grapefruit and the almond was super good. I guess if you like really plain, this is OK. But thats' about it. I like a LITTLE bit of flavor, this does not have any.
My new go-to Darjeeling. Full-bodied yet light. Delicious!

This was NOT my cup of tea. I can't say there is anything really wrong with the tea itself...I just did not like it at all. After trying it once, I gave it away.
I really like this one-strong like a black tea but more smooth. Great with some milk in it
I personally didn't like this as much as some other oolongs from Adagio. It just didn't seem as floral or refined.
As good as Darjeeling Puttabong Summer tea is that is how bad this darjeeling is. The flavor is missing as is the desire to have a second cup. I'm glad I just got a sample of this tea.
Enjoyable but nothing too exciting. Not anything that I would make a staple in my home.

Oolong and darjeeling already have some similar qualities to me, anyway, but the juicy, slightly fruity taste gives the oolong an interesting character.
I do enjoy a nice cup of oolong tea and this one is definitely my favorite. The apricot flavor is so subtle with the grape.. very easy to drink!

I've enjoyed this oolong. It doesn't have the smooth finish of TiKuanYin but it's nice for an occasional change of flavor. It does have the winey taste of Darjeeling.
I love this flavor! It tastes very light and springlike to me, and works well hot or cold. I'm happy with 3 brews of a teaspoon. Be careful to not overbrew. this adds bitterness/astringency.
I'm a fan of both darjeeling and oolong, so this tea is FANTASTIC.
Good but not great Darjeeling. Fishin tea has a Darjeeling that is better.
Delicious. The perfect mix between oolong and black. I don't like it as much as some other oolongs but I use it as my black tea.
This tea is unlike any I have ever tasted! It is the perfect way for me to enjoy my love of oolongs with the unique floral crispness of a Darjeeling. I highly recommend this one for a refreshing change of routine! It is wonderful the first steeping, but does not do as well the a second time around.
