lighter than the black darjeelings. I like this with a bit of sugar in the afternoon.
Very rare oolong from Singbulli Estate, Darjeeling, India. Muscat grape and apricot pit aroma (also the mark of fine Darjeeling black teas). Dried fruit flavor, lingering floral notes. A lesson in 'terroir': the place where the tea is grown.

lighter than the black darjeelings. I like this with a bit of sugar in the afternoon.
I was really excited to try an oolong from darjeeling.
It was definitely interesting to try this, but unfortunately I didn't think there was a lot to offer here.
I wouldn't say this was a bad tea, and you can definitely notice the darjeeling flavor in it, but overall it seemed like a somewhat forgettable tea.
To be honest, I think that this is more of a statement to all of the incredible tea options that we have as opposed to what I actually thought of this tea, because my overall review is that I thought it was good but not interesting enough to ever merit me ordering it again when I consider all of the other options on the site.
If I was to describe the flavor of this tea it would be that it is smooth with a pretty generic oolong flavor and a pretty standard darjeeling flavor.
Lovely Darjeeling characteristics of white peach and honey. Brisk enough for a morning cup but a truly outstanding afternoon teatime tea. Bolder than a first flush.
I love all darjeelings and this one is no exception. It has that bright taste that you look for in a darjeeling and is smooth going down.
We really enjoy this tea. This blend of teas has a unique flavor. I especially like the fact that there are no additives
I tried ooooh darjeeling for the first time, great tea!
This tea is very smooth, no bitterness. I have had other brand name teas with a fruity floral note like this however they use artificial flavors, I was surprised and happy after my first sip to see this is tea is all natural.
Probably my favorite tea. It is a wonderful cross between oolong and Darjeeling.
Not my favorite but it was good. My first darjeeling/oolong.
The first to go of all the teas I order, great afternoon tea
Now one of my favorite oolongs. A nice complex flavor without being overbearing.
This is a strong oolong tea. It tastes almost black.
crisp clean taste not very strong fjsdfhdskjfhkjsdfh
I have three favorite oolong teas - wuyi ensemble, grapefruit oolong, and Formosa oolong. After trying ooooh Darjeeling, I've decided to stick with my favorites. The other three are just so good, that this Darjeeling had a hard time measuring up to them - slightly bitter - just not appealing to me.
I didn't particularly like this tea-- it was a bit too astringent for me.
Such a sweet, smooth flavor. I have a hard time not drinking this all day!
This is a lovely tea that has a delicious flavor. I lightly sweeten my teas and this one almost doesn't need it as it has it's own sweet taste. It has a lot of subtle flavors. A definite must try for all tea lovers. This will likely become a go-to tea for me.
a delicious darjeeling oolong blend for tea lovers!
What a gorgeous tea! So many levels of subtle beauty. This is most certainly a favorite of mine. Not one of the notes was too overwhelming and each one came separately to the tongue. Oooohhhhhhhhhhhhh darjeeling :)
I'm not a fan of black teas so I was hesitant to try this, but the smooth oolong aspects of this tea have won me over. An excellent tea I will order again!
Darjeeling, but a little floral. It stood up to overbrewing like a champ, by the way, which makes it a good choice for mornings when you get sidetracked getting the kids dressed and fed and oh crap my tea!
I sense that this year's production is less oxidized than last years, more oolong/less darjeeling ... but nonetheless it offers the best of both worlds.
This tea is lovely! Light bodied but full of flavor! Try not to over steep this one or it gets too strong!
Excellent Darjeeling tea, a bit on the greener side but very complex and tasty!!! Thanks Adagio!
The complexity of an oolong AND the complexity of a Darjeeling? I'm in. This is niiice.
~I am very perticular about darjeeling and this one did not disapoint. Be careful not to over steep. I found it perfect at four minutes.
Smooth as silk with a soft mellow flavor. Fantastic.
This was a great darjeeling, the name pretty much says it all.
Great/almost great? Let's say really good and a good deal. Oolong is by far my favorite tea and although the best is still a high mountain Taiwanese, this stuff is quite good, especially if you like Darjeeling tea too.
This pleasant tea would be the offspring of someone mating darjeeling with the tea served in Chinese restaurants. The dry leaves smell woodsy and nutty with slightly sweet undertones. Once brewed, the tea gives off subtle wine-like aromas. The taste is mild and a little sweet, but the muscatel flavor typical of darjeeling is masked by the more distinct oolong flavor. The flavor is more pronounced when brewed with the recommended 2 teaspoons of leaves, but it does not re-steep particularly well. Sugar and honey both compliment the tea. Though it's not my favorite tea, I'm still glad I tried it.
I love Darjeelings and Oolongs. This one is really good, but TKY is still my first love.
This was my first experience with Darjeeling tea, and while I'm not blown away by it, I do enjoy its distinct flavor
Mild flavoured. Suitable for any time of day, but I love to have a cup of Ooooh Darjeeling before going to bed.
This is a great tea to try if you're a fan of darjeeling tea and oolongs too. No atringency and lots of flavour. It definately reminds me of oriental beauty every time i drink it.
Really bland compared to other Darjeelings I've tasted. Because of the name I really expected more. I'm glad I only bought a sample of the tea. It seems it's sweet spot is 2.5g/6oz of water. The good thing about this tea is that it won't go bitter if you go beyond 4 minutes. In that sense it's a good tea for those who are either just starting brewing loose leaf or need a good forgiving tea, if you can't be bothered with brewing specifics. That said there are much better Darjeelings out there, but after trying what Adagio had to offer I was a bit disappointed at the quality of their selection. While other Darjeelings Adagio offers aren't bad, I'd say this one was at the bottom. That said, this is hardly bad tea, just compared to the quality of other Darjeelings out there I wouldn't recommend this one to seasoned loose leaf tea drinkers.
a very easy to drink tea, would not buy again because to mild taste.
I've been waiting forever for this tea to come back into stock so I could try some. It's DELICIOUS.
Wonderful darjeeling. I'm sorry this isn't available any longer, or I would have purchased more while at the store. One of the best I've had in a long time. I love the taste!
I was expecting more of a darjeeling taste to it but found it was quite bland.
A nice smooth Oolong tea with plenty of flavor but not too sweet.
I really like this tea. It's definitely darker compared to most oolongs, but I'm still a big fan.
This tea was pretty awesome. It has that decliciously unique Darjeeling flavor, but with the smooth character of an oolong rather than the astringency of a black tea.
Pretty good considering the price point of this tea!
Very very good tea!!! Expensive, but awesome special occasion tea!!
I have been looking for a tea that tasted like the oolong you get in a good Chinese food restaurant. This tea is it!
This is honestly one of the best oolong teas I've ever had. I can get several good infusions out of it and the flavor is very rich.
My new favorite darjeeling. Fruity and spicy and tremendously sexy.
Very tasty. Has the characteristics of an Oolong, with the sweetness of Darjeeling.
A very light tea with subtle flavor. It brews to a nice, comforting cup of tea!
Ooooh darjeeling is a match made in heaven. It has the feel of an oolong and the complex flavors of darjeeling black tea, which is exactly what I was looking for!
