Two perfect things combined, grapefruit and oolong! The minerality and tartness combine perfectly. What a blend!
I think this tea is best enjoyed when it's cooled a little bit, because it allows the raisiny rich oolong base to be heard over the tart grapefruit flavoring. The two are harmonious and tasty!
For some reason this tea did not do it for me. It was not as good as the others to me...maybe I steeped it for too long? The grapefruit aftertaste was lovely though! It was a little more pungent than I expected, but an overall okay tea, in my opinion.
This smells more like grapefruit than tastes like it but that is perfectly acceptable because this is a FANTASTIC oolong! There is a WOW smell of grapefruit when you open the packet but it is a far more subtle citrus in the cup allowing the earthy minerality of the oolong to take its rightful place. As you sip you get a citrus zing, than an earthy note. It's pretty perfect! This oolong is all right by me! Happy Sipping!

CommuniTEA Sample: I do love oolongs and it's no surprise that I love this tea. The grapefruit flavor is there, but not overwhelming at all. You can taste the complexity of the oolong, followed by a bit of the fruity flavor of the grapefruit. Excellent tea!

Damp earth on the palate’s first impression, smooth and balanced with a sweet, slightly tangy note of citrus on the finish, though the lingering taste is faint. Does particularly well sweetened with honey.

It doesn’t taste quite like grapefruit, but I do love an oolong tea. It has a light earthy taste to it. Refreshing cold-brewed.

There is a faint citrus taste but it mostly just taste like black tea so I personally wouldn’t purchase this one. Not a fave.

I wasn't sure about this tea because of the grapefruit, but it's delicious. The grapefruit flavor blends well with the oolong. I brewed at 195°F for 4 minutes.
This tea is delicious iced and because of that it’s one of my summer favorites. However there is not a ton of grapefruit flavor if that’s what you are searching for. If I steep this, I prefer to steep it at four minutes. If I cold brew it then I do that at least twelve hours.
to be honest I didn t really taste the grapefruit in this, since the oolong is quite strong. I prefer this iced over having it hot.
I love this tea hot or cold. I am not a fan of sweet beverages and this tea gives me just what I am looking for. I love the right amount of grapefruit flavor.
This was generally good, but flavored teas aren't my favorite. Nothing wrong with this and the flavor was nice enough. It's just not my preference.

I think I might prefer other oolongs to this one... perhaps the almond is my favorite. Not sold on the grapefruit/oolong balance. It s not bad and is still pretty enjoyable... just not my fave!

Tried it first as a sample and now its a new favorite! I like serving it over ice and with some honey.
I was really excited about this blend. Unfortunately, the grapefruit flavor doesn t really come through once brewed. I think just a splash of grapefruit juice would really make a difference.
Tried this as a cold brew, steeped about 6 hours, and its really light, but pleasant, I was worried about it getting too bitter if it went too long, but I think next time I will try it a touch longer. Its good, very refreshing, tastes like I just ate some grapefruit and then drank tea.
Update: Now that I have gotten more recent orders of this, I am noticing there are more and more marigold flowers in the mix, and those not being my favorite, it has brought my rating for this tea down since first trying it. The next pitcher I make, I will be picking out the marigold flowers before brewing since it is a flavor that really overpowers the nice citrusy grapefruit element for me.
This is a perfect punch of flavor in the morning to get me started. The deep flavor of oolong accompanied by the grapefruit is just enough to get me going in the morning after I've already had a cup of coffee.
I love the scent of citrus in this blend and the grapefruit flavor is very distinct. The grapefruit works well with the oolong tea. This tea is really great if one is a grapefruit lover like I am.

Love this tea! It's one of the most refreshing teas, but without any astringency. The grapefruit aroma and flavor is delicious and goes well with the oolong tea. I'll be trying this mixed with other teas as well.
Great, next time I would try a different combo of fruit and tea and the grapefruit didn't shine too much but the oolong base made up for it.

My wife and I have a pantry full of various Ice tea varieties from many different Tea Companies.
Grapefruit Oolong still tops them all for our favorite. We have tried many different seeping methods, Hot and Cold and all work great.
Only thing different I do is put 1 lemon slice in while the tea seeps.
Love the light sweet flavor and touch of grapefruit. My favorite tea for the evening.
I had high hopes for this tea but it is really tasteless. I won’t be buying this again. It is the first tea from here that I haven’t enjoyed. I will make Iced tea out of it and mix it with some other teas.
This tea sounds better than is actually tasted. Light grapefruit taste which makes for a okay cup of tea. Not something that I would go back to over and over.
The first infusion captures most of the citrus flavors, with a tartness associated with grapefruit. The oolong tea adds a nice brown color and a smooth finish and backdrop to the bright citrus. The second infusion has the citrus as more of a backnote, but is still a bright cup of tea.
This is my new favorite tea. The grapefruit flavor is bright and blends well with the other flavors. I like it hot but I love it iced. Will buy again.
This was a tea absolutely outside my comfort zone. I bought the sample on a whim, and I am glad I did. The Grapefruit smell really stands out, too!

I am a tiny bit disappointed with this cup, but only because of how amazing it smelled. I had it with key lime and sweetener, and it was mildly citrusy, and very tasty.
My new favourite tea! It tastes exactly like fresh grapefruits but without the bitterness! It's an amazing tea to drink in the morning or afternoon. I have never really tried oolong tea before so I was curious about this one and I do not regret getting a sample a single bit!
This may be my new favorite of Adagio’s grapefruit tea offerings. It has a nice grapefruit flavor without the astringency of the black/Ceylon grapefruit version. Smooth oolong flavor. I usually sweeten it with agave but less of it than I do for the black/Ceylon version. Even better as it cools to room temperature.
The first thing you get when opening this tea is a very very strong, almost overpowering scent of grapefruit. This is not present in the tea. Instead the grapefruit blends with the mellow oolong for a nice floral tea with citrus back notes. Tried on a whim and I love it now.
The aroma of grapefruit comes through when opening the bag and remains after steeping. I wasn’t sure what to expect from a grapefruit flavored tea, but it intrigued me and I’m glad I gave it a try. Yummy!
I love this tea. The grapefruit flavor can easily be tasted. This tea is what I drink every day.
