A surprisingly gentle but cheerful blend, this has become my 'go to' quick cup favorite. It's even more incredible iced. :)
Invigorating grapefruit and fruity Taiwan oolong. Zesty and warming, full-bodied and slightly dry finish.

A surprisingly gentle but cheerful blend, this has become my 'go to' quick cup favorite. It's even more incredible iced. :)
Very good aroma. Smells at first like grapefruit and tobacco. Smooth mellow taste with a nice citrus note
this was really nice, it smells so good while it's steeping and it tastes even better!
The scent reminds me a bit of the sticky-sugar candies used to make fruit cake. It's okay as a hot tea, but I bet it would make a really good iced tea for summer.
This tea had me from the second I opened the bag. Wonderful, strong grapefruit aroma! My first oolong, and now I'm looking forward to trying more. I love the second steep of this tea, the grapefruit flavor is more pronounced.
Immediately upon opening this tea I knew it was going to be great. The citrus smell is wonderful and tastes equally great.
I wasn't crazy about the white tea grapefruit, so I was a little hesitant trying this. I was pleasantly surprised. The grapefruit flavor complimented the tea really well (I think it overpowered the white a little).
Very good. I really enjoy the oolongs. I want to try this iced in the summer. Although I do enjoy it hot.
Nice fruity tea. It was a little bit dark for oolong tea though.
Pretty wonderful oolong tea, I got a sample but I wouldn't mind buying more of it. It smells nice, tastes nice, and the flavor is mild without one taste overloading the others.
wonderfully sweet and citrus-y perfect for a winter afternoon
The grapefruit smell was strong (in a good way) when I opened the bag, and when being brewed. Taste was perfect.
With enough sugar you can make anything taste drinkable.
I love grapefruit teas, and this one definitely packs a punch! It's got a bright, distinctly grapefruit taste backed by a woody and mineral oolong. Not a combination I would have though of buy they balance each other so well!
Really citrus-y. Tastes good with lots of sugar but not exactly the type of tea for someone who doesn't dislike most teas. Very bitter without sugar.
Grapefruit teas are quickly becoming some of my favorites! The citrus flavor is crisp and bright and the oolong is lovely and smooth. Absolutely delicious first thing in the morning :)
I crave this tea! The oolong is nice and smooth. The grapefruit is very true. I love the kick it gives the tea. The aftertaste is very refreshing, like a grapefruit should be.
This one is my go-to tea to start off my day! I originally received this tea in the Oolong sampler and used that bag up in about a week! It's just a great mix of flavors with the oolong taste and then the hit of citrus at the end. I wouldn't say its a grapefuit taste exactly because it's not sour, it just adds a little zing that does an amazing job of waking me up in the morning!
This has a nice grapefruit taste without being too fruity. I like drinking it in the morning.
Wow--this is BY FAR my favorite Adagio tea! It so reminds me (and my husband) of Ruby Red Grapefruit juice--without the sugar involved. I don't LOVE citrus flavors normally, but generally enjoy some lemon tastes--so I was surprised how much I'd love this.
If you are curious AT ALL, you owe it to yourself to at least try the sample. You won't go wrong.
Good but not my favorite. I prefer the other flavored teas
This smells fantastic, so fresh. A very smooth Oolong.
I introduced myself to Oolong through this tea. It scared me the first time I smelled it, I was upset with myself for ordering grapefruit, but it actually turned out very well.
The first cup wasn't the greatest, my pallet was just adjusting to it though. I soon got used to it and I drink it quite often. It's pretty darn caffeinated too. I think it would be a good start for people switching over from coffee.
I'm not typically a grapefruit fan but this is excellent. The only way I like dark oolongs are with these bright fruit flavors. Another winner!
This is a nice oolong. It is more citrus flavor than grapefruit. I can see how oversteeping this would make it go bitter very quickly. It reminds me of the best parts of a honey lemon cough drop. I would definitely drink this one again!
I like grapefruit, so I really wanted to like this tea. However, the blend of grapefruit flavor and oolong tea didn't really work for me - it was too 'zesty' and citrusy.
I don't generally drink oolongs so I was quite surprised at this one. I thought the grapefruit came through really nicely and paired well with the kind of woody oolong. It does have a somewhat astringent finish but I thought that fit well with the tartness you expect of grapefruits.
I am really not liking this one. It has the distinct oily feel/smell that is present in the coconut pouchong offered here as well. I don't know what it is about it, but it throws me off. The tea has a very odd flavor to it that reminds me more of rind than fruit. The citrus is actually pretty light and is less tart than what I was expecting.
A nice, light, uplifting blend. There could be a little less grapefruit flavor to allow the oolong to really shine. I like this for breakfast, the citrus is a nice, refreshing wake-me-up. Overall a good tea, I just love the pure flavor of tea so much that added flavors aren't really my thing. Second infusion was my favorite.
Delicious! It has a lovely grapefruity smell and it taste sweet. I'm drinking it hot right now, but I think iced would make it really good!
A little weak but otherwise it's really good. The grapefruit doesn't overpower the oolong at all. The aroma is Amaaazing ! :)
This has a nice grapefruit taste that doesn’t overpower anything. If it was stronger I’m not sure I’d like it. Citrusy and a bit sweet, nothing added to this at all. Very smooth, no astringency. Second steeping was just as good as the first.
This tea tastes just like a grapefruit! For me, it's a bit too tart, but it's definitely grapefruit tea.
This tea smelled AMAZING when I opened the sample, and it tastes just as great as it smells. The grapefruit smells strong before and during steeping, but it has a mild taste while you're drinking. You get all the smokiness of the oolong and the zest of citrus blended perfectly. I think it will taste great iced as well... definitely buying the 16 oz bag.
When I opened the bag, this tea smelled great! You could really smell the greapefruit/citrus smell. I didn't taste the grapefruit though in the tea. It tasted more like a regular oolong tea to me. . . Maybe i didn't leave the tea bag in too long???
I am not a fan of grapefruit, but I got this for my boyfriend and he texted me saying it's one of his favorites (along with Passionfruit).
It smells like fresh grapefruit in the bag, but the taste mellows out after it has steeped. A good tea to drink with breakfast.
Very interesting flavour. Not for every day cuppa though.
I love the mix of grapefruit and oolong! The grapefruit scent is really pleasant, not artificial at all.
I absolutely adore this flavored oolong! It has all the citrus sour/slight bitterness of a fresh grapefruit cutting through the smokiness of the oolong. Still one of my favorite teas after a couple years of sampling other things.
I knew just from the sound of this tea that I would love it - I love oolong teas and I adore grapefruit. I haven't tried it as a hot tea yet, but it makes a distinct and delicious iced tea. Sensationally good!
My first oolong, though I was pleasantly surprised. Tasted like a very sweet black tea until I drank a bit more and the grapefruit hit. Definitely there, and absolutely wonderful.
As soon as you open the bag you're hit with an intense grapefruit scent, and the taste is just as sweet and genuine. It's a great way to enjoy the flavor without the bitterness of the fruit, and I can't wait to try it iced.
A very nice hot tea for breakfast time. Though not as good, in my opinion, as its Black cousin it is still very good. If you enjoy Oolong tea over black tea I would suggest giving this variety a try. If not still try it but I would suggest the black Grapefruit tea instead.
Smells great, but the grapefruit taste didn't hold up like I wanted it to.
I'm not even a huge fan of grapefruit but this tea is great. Its flavorful and great for spring!
I wanted to try this because I was not too happy with the buttery taste of other oolongs I tried. That buttery taste was not there, but I don't think the Grapefruit really works in an oolong. I would not buy this one again.
I tried this out to get a taste of oolong since I don't have much experience with oolongs and now that it's been a month or so I would say this tea is nice but not a favorite. The grapefruit flavor is light but definitely detectable and refreshing although I think I'm not as fond of citrus flavors in tea. It's just a little astringent for my tastes despite multiple brewings with different temps and times.
Love the smooth oolong with a splash of grapefruit. Great iced.
One of my all-time favorite oolong teas. Great to wake up with in the morning. The tart grapefruit flavor really comes through without masking the oolong!
