I was very hesitant to drink this tea when I first opened the bag. The grapefruit smelled VERY strong! After brewing for 5 min, it became something delightfully fragrant with a surprisingly light citrus flavor.
Yummy!! The grapefruit is such a refreshing flavor. And being an oolong tea it is very mild.

One of my favorites. When I originally got some of this as part of a sampler, I didn't expect to care much for it, but I was pleasantly surprised. The astringency of the citrus is wonderful for waking me up, and pairs very well with food containing cranberries.
Not my favorite. The Formosa Oolong that I bought as well was better. The grapefruit yet again was a little too subtle of a flavor for my pallet. Probably won't buy this one again.
The scent of grapefruit was more powerful than the flavor but is a lovely invigorating hot tea and I am sure it would be refreshing iced, too.

The grapefruit flavor in this tea is very very subtle and tends to add more of a tartness to the tea rather than a specific flavor profile. Still a nice oolong
This was the tea I was most looking forward to in this particular order - the one that precipitated the order, in fact - but wound up my least favorite in the box. It's not a bad oolong at all - there just isn't much grapefruit character here. Grapefruit oolong still sounds like a great idea to me ... I just don't feel like I've actually had one.

This tea was incredible! The smell of the stuff was so strong and wonderful and the taste was so bold and flavorful. I didn't taste the grapefruit quite like i expected but i'll definitely be buying this kind again.
The first brew has an extremely strong flavor, the second and third brews are more to my liking.

This is a wonderfully unusual tea. The woodsy oolong is given a surprising tang with grapefruit. LOVE this one!

Was not a fan of this. The flavor did not remind me of grapefruit at all. One of my friends liked it though, so I was able to give it away to someone who could appreciate it.
When I took this out of the bag, it smelled sooo strong, I was pretty excited. The final product wasn't as fruity, but still a nice taste. I will order this one again.

This tea has a great fragrance when you open the bag. The flavor isn't as strong as the scent, but it's very nice.

Great flavored tea. Grapefruit smell is much stronger than the taste. My bag lists 'oolong and orange' as the ingredients... I'm hoping that's a misprint.
This particular tea was order with the significant other in mind. Although I’m not a huge fan of grapefruit, this blend isn’t horrible. I’m old fashioned and prefer my oolong as is (my preference being the Formosa Oolong #8 blend found elsewhere on this site). But, the person intended loves it, and she has since her first cup. The rating reflects her opinion, and if you don’t mind a subtle hint of grapefruit in your tea, this is worth trying.

I bought this initially as a sample that I made for the first time when I was fighting a cold. The flavor was subtle and, as another reviewer pointed out, not sour at all. I enjoyed it so much that I returned to buy a regular size bag.
(In terms of time and temperature, I cheat and use an electric tea brewer.)
I love this tea it has the perfect blend of oolong and citrus flavor.
I keep buying the flavored stuff but really just like good ol'oolong #40. can taste the citrus but not overwhelming.

I really love this tea. It has a nice full flavor and will almost always satisfy my late night cravings. I also have many digestive issues and this tea almost always calms my tummy.
