This is my new favorite tea. It was everything I wanted the lemon soleil tea to be- citrusy and tart. It is fantastic and I cannot recommend it highly enough. It is good both hot and iced, and is tasty with and without honey.
Invigorating grapefruit and fruity Taiwan oolong. Zesty and warming, full-bodied and slightly dry finish.

This is a fantastic tea. A very crisp, smokey tea with bright citrus flavor. A little tart but not overly. Love this one.
I love all the oolong teas but this one is really unique...it kinda tastes like someone sprits a bit of fresh grapefruit into a cup of oolong.
this is one of my favorite morning teas, just love it. true grapefruit taste.
My mom loves fruity oolong teas, so this was a great addition to her collection!
This was a WHOLE lot better than I imagined. I wasn't sure how an earthy oolong would pair with something as citrus-y as grapefruit. Opening the bag the aroma is overpowering. Smells great... it's just strong. I expected citrus to be the dominate flavor. Brewed, the citrus is subdued and blends well with the oolong. Again, something I didn't expect. Proper brewing times and temperatures yield a golden cup with no need for sweetener. Is amazing iced!
This tea was delicious! It also makes a great iced tea. It is extremely refreshing!
grapefruit is probably one of my favorite fruits.. but i can't have it as much as I would like because it interacts with medications. nice flavor. very happy with this one.
This is a really delicious tea that feels like a treat whenever I drink it.
This is a great oolong, not my favorite but still worth purchasing. However if you don't like the flavor of bitter grapefruit, steer clear of this tea. I personally think the bitterness of grapefruit flavor plays well here.
This tea seemed a bit mediocre. It has the aroma and fragrance of a good grapefruit tea, but the flavor was subtle. I will have to try this again and update the review.
This is definitely better than the grapefruit black tea. The flavor is punchier, and the oolong has a pleasant taste that carries the citrus much better.
Adagio's oolongs have all been really delicious. A bit tricky to make properly.
The perfect balance of citrus and oolong. Tangy. Sweet. Yum!
Very refreshing. I find the grapefruit very subtle. Great with or without sweetener. Hot and iced. Great oolong tea.
This tea did /not/ taste like grapefruit to me at all. And it wasn't for lack of giving the sampler I got a few tries to give it the benefit of the doubt. I felt betrayed because it smelled like Grapefruit, but definitely didn't taste it.
I love this tea. The grapefruit flavor comes out so well. That distinct grapefruit bitterness comes out, while the mild oolong balances nicely. Does not get too bitter, can get nicely sour.
I liked the grapefruit taste in this tea. Oddly enough and maybe im insane, but it also tasted VERY SUBTLY like there is mint in the background.
I wish the tea itself had more in common with its distinctive sharp, almost bitter grapefruit aroma. Not that I actively seek out bitterish fruit tea, that is, but it's a strange experience to drink a tea that smells like one thing and tastes like another. I thought the flavor of the tea itself was mostly kind of woody. I brewed this at temperatures recommended for Oolongs, somewhat less hot than 212, though.
A great, complex flavor. It has a slight tartness to it, which could be off-putting if you don't enjoy that sort of thing.
In the bag, this tea is very sharp! It smells very citrusy, but in the dried-peels kind, rather than the juicy kind I was expecting. Brewed, it's a very, very gentle floral oolong that has a lovely grapefruit rind bite behind it. If I were a bigger fan of oolongs, this one would be a favorite, but it's good enough to almost convince me! This tea is great for people who like just a hint of fruit in their tea but still prefer a drier note.
I got a sample of this tea in my first order and it has quickly become my favorite flavored tea. The orange peels give just the right amount of citrus without becoming too artificial.
Crisp, refreshing, and aromatic. I especially like this one iced on a hot day.
No matter how much milk or sugar I put in this, it was still bitter and left an odd taste in my mouth. Not like real grapefruit at all.
I LOVE THIS TEA! It's so goooood. The grapefruit flavor if pretty strong, so it has a bit of tartness.
Like previous reviewers said, there is a dissonance between the way this tea smells and the way it tastes. It smells WONDERFUL, sharp, sweet, zesty, just magical. The taste, though, is simply good. It is a mild and sweet flavor that lacks the punch that the aroma promises. That doesn't mean it isn't worth a try. The grapefruit is not tart or bitter. I still greatly enjoy the oolong and grapefruit blend. I just wish it delivered a bit more.
I ordered this not knowing what to expect .It is wonderful a lovely grapefruit taste with the oolong earthy tea.
I actually received this tea by accident. I thought I'd ordered a peach oolong sample but when this tea came in the mail instead, I decided to give it a try. Normally, I dislike grapefruit, but this tea has a refreshing, invigorating smell and taste with none of the tartness or sourness of an actual grapefruit. Additionally, the grapefruit flavor does not overpower the flavor of the oolong, but instead balances with it quite nicely. It has more of an earthy flavor than you would expect. I love it! It has now become one of my favorite teas.
Very nice flavor, though I felt it could have been just a liiiiiiittle bit more grapefruity. Still very smooth, nice body, a slight mineral tang in the aftertaste. I felt that the second steep was better than the first, as well, so definitely brew subsequent cups! (I don't know why you wouldn't in the first place.)
I must not be a big fan of citrus teas, because I didn't enjoy this as much as I wanted to after trying other Adagio oolongs.
Adagio's flavored oolong strikes again! This is another one of my favorites from Adagio. These oblongs are great for when you want to drink something with more body than most green teas but don't want to commit to a black tea. The tea has body, but it blends seamlessly with the grapefruit flavor for a well-rounded cup. When you open the bag, the grapefruit scent might be somewhat overpowering, but don't be alarmed-- once steeped, the citrus flavor is less sharp.
Best tea that I have tried. It truly tastes like grapefruit. really! It is a very soothing tea. I love it.
Fairly strong grapefruit flavor, but can still taste the oolong tea. Both balance together fairly well. Good for after meals
This is a very flavorful oolong tea with the grapefruit. Enjoy this one in the afternoon.
This tea exceeded my expectations! The aroma when opening the package is very grapefruity. Once brewed, the grapefruit aroma retreats a bit and the smoky smooth oolong comes through with just a touch of the grapefruit. I added just a touch of sweetener and it made the tea more enjoyable. Altogether a very mellow tea and one I would defiantly purchase again!
I thought the grapefruit'd be sharper in this one, but it totally wasn't. It actually really compliments the dark oolong used here and works.
DELICIOUS! The grapefruit is just strong enough and SO present in the aroma, it's wonderful. This is an anytime tea and I could easily drink it everyday. I steeped it three times, the 3rd and final time it came through like a grapefruit white tea. Highly recommend
Very decent oolong, but you can barely taste the grapefruit despite the very powerful smell! Not a good choice for blending, which was why I got it, but it'll do for sipping, since I love oolong. Would've appreciated more grapefruit taste, though.
I have been a little afraid to try this because grapefruit, in tea? But it's good! It's not overly tart but it definitely tastes grapefruity, and the oolong is a nice subtle flavor beneath it.
I was surprised with this tea. Usually grapefruit teas are too much for me. This has a nice mellow flavor that blends really nicely with the oolong
This tea smelled wonderful and tasted good as well. Although I love grapefruits, however, I don't think grapefruit flavores tea does it for me. A grest drink, just not something I would go out of my way to drink.
on't personally care for 'flavors' in general, but I must say this one definitiely improved breakfast! I shall get more, I think, in time for summer.
In the bag you can definitely tell it's some kind of citrus, but it has that distinct grapefruit rind smell. The taste reminds me of Fruity Pebbles (I mean that in a good way!), but it's otherwise a light grapefruit flavor without the bitterness associated with grapefruit.
I bought this for a friend and was sad to give it up. I'm usually very picky with fruity teas but this was just the right thing for me. It's definitely not an overbearing taste and it's all the better for it.
I could smell these tea leaves all day! Before being brewed, this tea smells amazing but that exciting smell is largely lost when steeped. The tea doesn't have a very distinct flavor but it is pleasant and smooth.
Very good oolong tea. Need to try some other flavors too.
This is my absolute favorite tea in recent months, I can drink it all day long, perfect grapefruit taste. Throughout the winter I shared this with many people and it is always a winner!
I quite like this tea, but it doesn't taste much like grapefruit. The tea leaves smell refreshingly like grapefruit and the brewed tea has a nice citrus aroma, but it tastes almost nothing like citrus. There may be a very faint grapefruit aftertaste. it's hard to tell. It has a pleasant toasty flavor which I enjoy, though.
This tea didn't taste the way I expected it to. That's not to say I didn't enjoy it -- I certainly did. The grapefruit was a bit subtler than I expected, and oddly enough sometimes the flavor seemed to come off almost gingery instead. That being said, now knowing how it tastes, I think what I was expecting would have been too heavy on the grapefruit. As is, it complements the oolong in a lovely way. I'll definitely be drinking lots more of this one.
I had never had oolong tea until I tried this one, and I absolutely enjoyed it.
