The grapefruit adds a level of tangy flavor to the tea that is interesting but somewhat detracts from the traditional flavor of the tea.
This flavor is a tiny bit earthy, but not overwhelmingly so.
When I make tea before work or class my boyfriend always perks up if he smells this tea brewing. We just love the light grapefruit flavor.
Not that great. Tastes almost minty, rather than citrusy. Perhaps it would be better as an iced tea.
Fruity and delicious. Like ruby red grapefruit. I prefer this tea hot, but it's also delicious as an iced tea.

My oh my, do I love this summery tea. Don't be put off by the (mouthwateringly) overpowering grapefruit smell from the bag. The finished product is faintly oolong, with a subtle, delicious fruity tartness. I make it by the pot. Marvelous.

I have sampled this tea before in the sampler that it comes in, and to my surprise I loved it! The grapefruit flavor just comes out in a nice smooth manner, not like the punch in your face of a real grapefruit. It also tastes very juicy to me which I like very much!
SO so so so good. I got this one as a sample with a previous order so it didn't last more than a day. After trying it I was really craving grapefruit oolong so I went to Teavana and tried theirs. NOPE. I believe this one is far superior because of the quality of the grapefruit flavor in addition to the fact that the blend is primarily tea.

This has become a surprise favorite in my house! The tangy grapefruit flavor complements the earthy oolong tea very well. I have to be in the right mood for it, but it is my wife's favorite tea!

I don't regret buying this tea but i don't think I'll be getting it again. I love grapefruit so I thought I'd love this tea but to me it was just okay. I will say the grapefruit was a perfect amount though, neither too strong nor too weak.
My dislike of grapefruits was trumped by my love of oolong teas. This has a nice citrus punch with that underlying oolong earthiness. Would be very good iced.

Nice, simple Oolong tea sweetened up with just the right amount of grapefruit essence. I like it with just a drop or two of liquid stevia extract. This makes for a nice 'anytime' sipping tea.
As with most of the teas I get from Adagio, I couldn't wait to drink the tea once I'd smelled it steeping for a few minutes! It had an amazing grapefruit taste without the tartness and the other citrus flavors were a great compliment!
Holy wow! This is my newest favorite - I drink it hot, warm, cool and iced. It is sweet, ultra floral and smells just like a fresh, juicy, cut grapefruit. There is no bitterness, and is as floral, in my opinion, as the Jasmine teas. This brews very light, and it has quickly taken over as my go-to summertime tea. Delicious!
Not as good as the peach oolong, it just didn't seem ass fresh or flavorful.
Very strong grapefruit scent that mellows out once it's brewed. The flavor is bright and refreshing.
Good, but I enjoyed the peach oolong much better. Grapefruit was a little more subtle, but there is a light citrus flavor. I enjoyed this one and will try it again.
I ordered a sample of this on a whim, not really knowing what to expect. I don't have a strong opinion of it one way or the other. It tastes bland to me. I'll finish off the sampler but I won't order this one again.
I was pleasantly surprised by the taste of this tea considering after opening the bag and smelling it for the first time I thought about giving it to someone else. The taste totally makes up for the not so impressive smell however.
The tea is rather light and not not too acidic. The grapefruit flavor is there but not too overwhelming and upon a second brew actually comes across even better than the first time.
Very glad I gave it a try before mistakenly getting rid of it.
one of my favorite fruit teas! It has the right balance of grapefruit and oolong. It's sort of... tangy?? I can't describe it. But it's very comforting. And the smell... goodness the smell is amazing!
Sweet citrus flavor. This tea does not appear to contain grapefruit but still has a grapefruit aroma.

I got a grapefruit tea not knowing what to expect. It is not overwhelmingly citrusy and had a good flavor. I like the combination with the oolong and it was pleasingly strong. I think for a grapefruit tea it is good and not to fruity but still with undertones of citrus.
Definitely one of my all time favorite teas. I love some good oolong, and this is awesome. The smell reminds me of the Halls Vitamin C drops. As soon as you take a sniff, it gets your mouth watering and craving a cup.

It's yummy! It's not exactly grapefruit in flavor, but it is citrusy sweet which goes really well with the oolong.

This was a very surprising blend. It's definitely not as grapefruity as I thought it'd be, yet it's certainly an oolong. The green 'veggie' flavour is satisfying, and also very different. It's herby, but not too strong either. I'd say this would be a good food-tea, especially with Asian foods. It's a good palate cleanser too! I'd be interested to try this mixed with something else citrusy.
OK, but I think this could use a stronger grapefruit flavor.
