Nice slight refreshing citrus flavor but not too much as to break cream if added.
Invigorating grapefruit and fruity Taiwan oolong. Zesty and warming, full-bodied and slightly dry finish.

Nice slight refreshing citrus flavor but not too much as to break cream if added.
Amazing! This has a really wonderful grapefruit flavor in it. I was almost worried it would be a bit bitter or sour because of the grapefruit rind in the tea, but it is absolutely not! Favorite!
A delicious zingy flavor! Smelled amazing, and tasted every bit as good!
My favorite sample from the fruity oolong sampler.
Definitely one of my favorites. Plan on full sizing it next time.
This tea is super aromatic and it's great! This was actually the first oolong tea that I tried, and i's all-around pretty pleasant!
So good, tastes sweet and has a zezty flavor to it
I think that this tea is really good, however my only criticism is that there wasn't enough citrus flavor in the tea (although it smelled amazing). Next time, I'll try steeping for a little longer and see if that helps. And surprisingly, agave nectar is really a good choice for this tea in my opinion!
Bright, fresh, with a very pleasant aftertaste. It's my first oolong and I'm impressed. Also, the bag smells exactly like I hoped it would! Second steep was just as good.
I did not particular care for this oolong, but my mother really liked it. I thought it had a sour taste.
Oolong and grapefruit equals great combo, zesty and earthy blends really well
What a wonderful way to wake up in the morning! I love the fresh citrus flavor.
I lved it very much. One of my favorites. Would buy again.
this tea is great. probably one of the best teas i've had yet
First off, this tea smells amazing. I immediately wanted to disappear into the scent. If you're worried about it being too bitter or too grapefruit-y, don't be, it smells stronger than it tastes. What it does taste like is a pleasant, light, citrus-filled bouquet. It's sweet without being saccharin, full without being over blown and a perfect mid-day cuppa. Enjoy!
Grapefruit and oolong are two of my favorite things. This tea blend has a subtle flavor - I use closer to a tablespoon for each cup to get a more concentrated flavor.
Ok grapefruit taste with a warm earthy taste only oolong can provide.
My cousin who loves grapefruit did a tea tasting with me at Adagio as my wedding gift to her-I ended up buying her this tea and the Jade oolong at the end of it. For Christmas I got a bag of the grapefruit oolong for her mom so she'd stop stealing Lauren's tea haha-again, it was a hit!
a nice hint of grapefruit. can't really say that i'm surprised but i am glad that it's not bitter.
My first try at oolong. The dry smelled amazing. The brewed tea smelled ok, but honestly tasted a little burnt. I'm not sure if I steeped it wrong, so I'll have to try again. Besides that slightly burnt taste, I liked it. I wish the grapefruit was stronger. I plan on trying the grapefruit white next, and hope that I get a more 'grapefruity' tasting tea.
My favorite tea from adagio so far, smooth and delicious with none of the typical 'tea' bitterness you get from black or green. Really nice hint of grapefruit at the end. Grapefruit and tea, who knew it'd be this delicious?!
I'm not ordinarily a fan of grapefruit, but in this tea it completely works! And the fact that you can re-brew it more than once is an added bonus.
Just opening the package offers an amazing lift! It smells scrumptious. And tastes the same!
The grapefruit smell is simply wondrous, and the flavor is not far behind, but the pairing simply doesn't gel as well as some of the other flavored oolongs I've tasted. Also, adding a bit of cream to it pretty much does not work with it.
Really like this! The grapefruit flavor really comes through but is not over powering at all.
I was hesitant to try this tea, but the grapefruit is a terrific addition. It's refreshing and delicious. I've been sharing it with friends and so far all have liked it.
Oolong just happens to be my favorite tea for study time, for some odd reason, and I love grapefruit. Really can taste and feel it.
The oolong tea itself was nicely oxidized and maintained strong cultivars. However, the lack of grapefruit and/or peel (and going with orange) had me deducting a point.
The bright citrus of the grapefruit works well with the woody oolong, though it's milder than I would have liked when brewed, with only a slight spicy note to hint at it's inclusion.
One of my 1st oolong teas, but was so pleased! The grapefruit mix was wonderful! I loved it so very much that I ordered more for all my friends to go in their Christmas baskets. So far the reviews have been great! Tastes clean with a touch of Ruby Red Grapefruit. If you enjoy Earl Grey, I believe you'd enjoy this too. I actually mixed Earl Grey Lavender with it and it was wonderful!!! Yummy!!
I am in love with adagio's oolong teas. So far, I have had only positive experiences with them, and the grapefruit one is no exception. I love grapefruit and am very picky about it, and don't like when it isn't done well, be it a drink or candy or whatever. This tea smells just like grapefruit, and when steeped, the grapefruit flavour kind of takes a step back, and you are left with a pleasant citrus mouthfeel. I will definitely be ordering more of this tea.
It was a fair tea. Brewed nice just don't over steep (No longer thatn 2 minutes should work)
My second place favorite with strong grapefruit notes which fit remarkably well with the woodsy finish of this oolong
This tea was not very flavorful after following the listed instructions. A second steeping, however, was more flavorful after steeping for 7 minutes or so, but even then, there wasn't enough of the oolong flavor that I'd expect, so this just isn't my favored oolong.
For those looking for citrus and not wanting lime or lemon. Not overly bitter and great iced!
Very refreshing without being too tart. I enjoy it with a scoop or two of rock sugar. It's delicious both hot and iced. It's a nice, light flavored tea.
This had a strong grapefruit flavor with a fairly natural taste to it.
I loved this one. Aromatic and flavorful. A good morning brew.
I was really looking forward to this tea, especially when I opened the package to a strong scent of grapefruit, but there is very little grapefruit flavor, and one additional steeping and this oolong is done. Very disappointing.
The tartness of the grapefruit goes well with the smooth oolong!
Really nice grapefruit flavor without being overwhelming.
I'm not a bit fan of 'flavored' teas anymore. I found them to be a bit too 'artificial' in taste. However, this one is an exception. I absolutely love the taste and smell of this Oolong. Great for a late afternoon refreshment and wonderful iced. I'll be getting a 16 oz as soon as I run out :) Funny, I don't like Oolongs that much but because it's flavored, I love this tea.
This tea was good, but really wasn't anything special. I wish it had a little bit more grapefruit taste. I mean, the grapefruit is there, but it's more of an aftertaste than something you taste immediately. It's still nice, though.
I really like this tea! I did not expect to really like this tea! I got it because I thought it would be perfect for a blend (spoiler: it was), but I don't even like grapefruit that much. But you GUYS. This TEA.
I guess I prefer the natural flavor of oolong, this is okay, but The grapefruit disrupts the flavor of the oolong!
As one who isn't very familiar with oolong teas, I found this to be a great introductory one. It has a wonderful grapefruit citrus aroma and taste, with an oolong background. Not too powerful on either account, so just right. I will be trying some other oolong teas in the future.
I first tried White Grapefruit about a month ago and really liked it, and I like the Peach Oolong a lot, so I was pretty confident about this purchase. This tea was everything I thought it would be! I drank it without sugar or milk and was pleased to find that they were completely unnecessary. The grapefruit flavor strength is just right, and it's dry rather than tart (so if you're an anti-grapefruit person because grapefruits are so sour, you might be pleasantly surprised). The tea itself is light-tasting, minimally astringent for a black oolong. Overall, yummy. I might reorder when summer rolls around.
This tea was great! It had a light taste, and it gets better the more times you brew it. I usually get three cups out of a teaspoon of tea!
Flavor is not exactly grapefruit, but a definite hint of citrus. Slight bitter aftertaste, as with most teas, but not a strong one.
I love this so much. So fresh and tart on ice! Perfect for summer!
