june 2024: yep, still special. Really enjoying as afternoon pick me up

agree that this reminded me of certain green teas, the 'toasty straw' thing that I like... and that the floral scent was like jasmine but different/lighter. Not sure I would have picked up on honeysuckle had I not read reviews. Steeped it 3 min because I got distracted, still mild and delicious. a little sweetener brings out the flavor I think but you don't need it. I actually think there isn't much flavor at all but it's very pleasant. A nice post-yoga cup of tea.

Was hoping for more robust and lasting flavor out of this tea than it yielded in the end. I will be sticking to the Fujian Orchid for such matters in the future

Enjoyed this one a few days ago. It allows the delicious flavor of oolong to take center stage, with a lovely golden color and appealing aroma. I add a touch of sugar to all of my teas, and this is no different. Truly a keeper, and I'll be ordering a larger size next time.

Delicious floral notes on this one! I had not really read any of the description and only purchased a sample of it because of the name. I would order a larger bag when I run out.

Love this stuff. It's not too green, a little floral, a tiny bit dry. Feels like the last flowers of summer in a cup of a tea.

Beautiful, smooth oolong for day-to-day drinking. I bought this on sample to try initially, and promptly decided to have it on hand as my regular oolong blend. Less bitter notes than some of the others that I've tried, and has a wonderful floral undercurrent that honors its name.

This tea lives up to the discrption. I like oolong teas. The savory not sweet taste of this one is welll rounded. I put a bit of raw honey in just because im a big fan of honey and it pairs well. I just recently stepped up my tea game. Out of the 6 samples I started with this was the first one I finsihed and Its on my reorder list. I don't do 5 starts lightly, maybe after I have tried more to compare it to I will give it a 5 because I DO LIKE this one.

Phenomenal oolong tea. This being said, steep for longer than given on the packaging. I found that it improved the cup, by strengthening the great flavors. Adjust your brewing temp slightly to balance out the bit of bitterness you may get from an extended steep.

Let me get this out of the way - I cannot taste things like a normal person so I will refrain from describring tastes however, this is good tea...
As someone that frequented Teavana years ago I loved the monkey picked oolong. When searching for this, Golden Flower popped up so I researched both the tea and the company. Bought some and enjoyed, as usual. Now my directions LOL:
I have an old Teavana steeping mug - similar to the ones sold here (actually the same thing.) I use a clear kettle and a clock.
Bring the water ( which has been sitting for over 2 hours) just where you see small bubbles forming at the bottom and starting to rise. Remove from heat. Don't ask but somewhere close to about 170° ~ 190°
Pour into cup with a heaping table spoon of tea - steep 3 minutes.
Enjoy :-P
Why do I add a heaping tablespoon you ask? I get about five cups from this.
After steeping, I put the steeping cup in the fridge. 5 mornings of enjoyment.
I do not add anything but my lips to the cup and slirping noises... Hey I'm not a complete adult
Thank You Adagio!

I ordered this on its own after trying it in the oolong sampler and adore its presence in my rotation ...smooth, light, aromatic. A great tea for when I'm ready to level down from the caffeine in my early morning black tea.

The Golden Flower oolong really produces a delightful cuppa. Complex finish, a little on the sweet side, but not overly so, and not much astringency. I will definitely be buying more of this when I run out as well as trying the other highly rated oolong teas Adagio and their Masters site sell.

I prefer more oxidized oolongs and this one is too grassy for me. Green tea drinkers will probably love this one.

This tea seams to lean more on the green side with its slight vegetal tones but also has a light, floral taste that is smooth with its own distinctive taste. I was glad that I was able to try this one.

I didn't know what to expect with this tea, as I had a sample from a while ago put away, and it came with my communitea, so trying it was a strange experience. Oolong teas are some of my absolute favorite types of teas. For as long as I can remember, I've always loved oolong...but even though this is an oolong tea, it doesn't have the classic oolong taste to me. It was very floral and different. The experience of it though isn't marred by that, I just can't say that I see it as an oolong, even if it is an oolong. It's a great tea though, and honestly I wish I had a lot more of it. It's very floral and light, an easy tea to drink without sugar or honey or anything really, which is saying something coming from me, because I love to do 2 teaspoons of sugar in each mug of tea I have. Even cold, this is a delicious tea.
