You can get multiple steeps out of this one. Definitely one of my favorite teas of all time- very buttery honeysuckle and floral notes.

Lovely oolong. The flavor is very delicate and nuanced, so it takes careful drinking to pick up on it and enjoy it.

For the cost, this is a great light oolong. I do find that when brewed at higher temperatures (which I normally do with oolongs), it gets a very unpleasant taste. Keeping the water on the cooler side, it has a nice, buttery flavor with a bit of complexity. Not good for as many re-steeps as other teas; four is really pushing it and the third isn't great. But at this price, I can't complain; fantastic daily tea.

There is a lot of flavor to this one, but I don't find it all that appealing. Also, though it is really kind of fun watching the leaves open up, my strainer doesn't fit the huge leaves very well once they open up.

A delicious onlong with a subtle creamy mouth feel. I like to add just a splash of cream and honey to have a nice relaxing cup of tea

Really nice quality tea, very simple but also very satisfying to drink!

I make this iced. I live in the desert and drinking hot tea isn't always desired. Sun brewing this and then pouring over ice is a great way to beat the heat.

My family and I love this tea. In fact, it is my sisters main tea that she drinks above all others. It is such a great oolong. It is sweet and mildly floral in all the right ways. Great hot cold, plain sweetened, & milky not milky. A versatile tea with great flavor. It is a must have tea to keep in the tea stash. Highly recommend!

I couldn't get into this one - it was okay, but for an oolong I prefer Fujian Rain, Jade Oolong, or Wuyi Ensemble. This was on par with Ti kuan yin for me.

It's good. I would drink this every once in a while.

A light, floral and aromatic oolong. I noticed the strong floral scents as soon as I opened the bag. A delightful tea.

My favourite tea on the site. I can't taste, so I'm extremely picky on what I like enough to regularly have. Out of all the teas I've had, this one is up there with a Teavana one I forgot the name of, because it's been years since they went out of business.

★★★☆☆

Of all the oolongs I’ve tried this would probably be the “weakest”, but I still enjoy it! Think bright green baby grass. No bitterness at all.

A really delicious oolong that I got the large bag of, and have been drinking almost daily

What a lovely Oolong. The curled leaves greet you with a fresh leaf scent with just a hint of something floral. This tea has a sweet, flowery, mineral flavor with something buttery, almost creamy to it. Golden Flower seems a fitting name for this luxuriously floral Oolong tea. 🍵

Bought this for my partner. They really like it. Say its a good oolong. Smells good, tastes good, easy to drink.

Delightful broad-leafed tea. An easy, everyday Oolong that doesn’t disappoint.

I tried this in my communiTEA box, and had to buy a bigger bag on my next order! It smells lovely and the leaves unfurl to be HUGE once steeped - barely fit in my infuser when I did a whole pot, lol. But it has become one of my go-to’s for iced tea, hot brew and then chill.
Very lightly floral oolong flavor, it’s quite unique. And this is coming from someone who normally doesn’t like “floral” flavors! It’s got a sweetness of it’s own, but benefits from just a bit of honey or sugar.

Love it! Brewed gong-fu-ish style it's a very clean tea with fruity notes, maybe guava or passionfruit.

Time and temp are approximate. I tempered boiling water with cool tap water to avoid scalding the leaves. First steep around 30 seconds, increased about 10 seconds each time. Held up for 5 steeps.

This tea is a solid choice for lovers of oolong. It has stronger earthy notes than other oolongs I have tried, but it is still a delight. I have found it steeps well up to 3 times. I tend to prefer oolongs with more floral & fruity notes, but I would absolutely recommend this for anyone who enjoys earthy teas.

This is my go to tea. I love the hints of honeysuckle, it almost has a nut like taste to it as well. And a almost savory wet straw taste (but in a good way!) I add honey to mine, sometimes a tiny bit of sugar as well. I also love to add infusers to it, like lavender, lemon verbena, lemongrass, chamomile. It tastes good paired with many things!

A soft golden color in the glass, this tea is softly floral, with a hint of grassy flavor, and is very relaxing. It smelled wonderful when I opened the packet. Honestly I sat there for a little while and inhaled its wonderful scent. 195F for three minutes.

I appreciate how this little sample is enough to make an entire pot of lovely tea. It's got a subtle vegetal quality to it, tasting a bit like a particularly bold green tea, maybe. I like it!

★★★★☆

I enjoyed this with CT today. Beautifully rolled tea is always a joy to watch unfurl. I was a little worried as when it was steeping I was getting more vegetal in the aroma and I was looking forward to a more floral jasmine like cup. I was relieved on first sip to find the latter. It left the most minor dryness after each sip. I do think it is similar to the jasmines floral flavor with a creamier texture than jasmine, but not as buttery as say the golden spring. This is a good tea. It is just not the one I would reach for to hit those flavor notes. I am only one steep in, but am confident I will get at minimum one more out of it. 195° 3 min

CommuniTEA sample: 2 min @ 195 F, two following infusions for three minutes. Very nice, light, floral tea. In some ways, it feels close to a green tea, but in many ways, it feels like a darker oolong as well. I found the body to be surprisingly heavy, given the light aroma and appearance. Very sweet and floral in both smell and taste, and basically no astringency to report! Across the three cups, I felt that the first was mostly floral, but had a little bit of a toasty note towards the back, the second was a typical floral oolong, with some gentle fruity notes, and I think the honeysuckle description fits well for that infusion! The third cup I found to be the most tea like, they weren't all that different in flavor, but this one tasted like a fairly typical oolong, but also had some slightly earthy, slightly greener notes to it. Not quite as much sweetness to distract. Still all three cups were very sweet, and all were very refreshing!

This is a smooth, fruity and floral oolong tea. I've had multiple steeping of the same leaves, and it's just lovely.

This is a great on-the-go tea. My partner likes to steep these leaves directly in a mug. It's not too strong, and brings a nice additional tang to a green tea. Has a distinct floral scent and taste. Love to steep rolled teas -- careful not to use too many leaves, these pack a punch. Good for multiple steeps.

A nice, slightly smoky to me flavor that manages to be just the right strength between mild and strong.

Restaurant-style oolong with tightly curled leaves that expand in the pot. Smooth and rich. Tiny hints of green tea flavor. Delicious with Asian food, great by itself.

Greener than I prefer, but not offensively so. I noticed the flavor changes quite a bit depending on the brewing, but I'm not sure yet what I did differently... one time, it was a 4, and tasted 'elegant'. It has some complexity to it and always a nice texture.

I had forgotten how much I love oolong. My tried and true is no longer sold and I've been looking for a replacement, and this is pretty close- creamy and gentle.

I tried to brew gongfu style in my gaiwan and ended up losing most of the first cup, I don't have the straining technique down at all. The second steep was delicious. Very light floral taste and smooth flavor. Beautiful clear liquor with a hint of green.

One of my favorite oolong teas. Light and toasty, it feels nice on the tongue, warms the soul, and avoids the pitfall of overbrewed bitterness. I can leave the bag in all day and it's just as good as the first sip!
