A delicious green tea. I generally don't like very green tasting green teas, Golden Flower is somehow different and worth trying even if its not your normal type.

My favourite oolong at the moment. It is very mild, slightly sweet, but still unmistakably vegetal. The floral undertones help make it a charming blend — somewhat reminiscent of oolong with osmanthus.

I really like the lightly floral undertones of this tea. It's one I think I could drink every day.

A lovely oolong tea with a very clear flavor. Great for multiple brews. Requires very little tea as they expand to full tea leaves and an amazing flavor

wonderful fresh flavor very unique new taste to my collection

When you first brew this it had really strong floral tones, almost smells like a jasmine tea. It doesn t come through as much once brewed, with a light, slightly sweet floral flavour with just a touch of the classic oolong taste and feel. The leaves also expand quite a lot so make sure you have a big infuser!

I m really enjoying this Golden Flower oolong. It s very nice for its price point. It reminds me of Ali Shan, but of a slightly lesser grade. I m usually not too critical with steeping times when it comes to my infusions. However, this tea is very delicate when it comes to steeping times. A 2-3 minute infusion will give a delicate green oolong flavor with floral and cream notes somewhat reminiscent of an Ali Shan, whereas 3-4 minutes will begin to taste slightly bitter and astringent. I like mixing 1 tsp of White Symphony and 1 tsp of Golden Flower for a nice white-tea and green-oolong blend.

It's not a bad tea, but seems a bit off from the classic oolong flavor to me. I still enjoyed it though!

Suprisingly good oolong tea, has a nice flavor and smell, especially for the price

Beautiful and subtly floral. Even as someone with a sweet tooth, this one is excellent unsweetened, like a hot cup of healing nature!

A very light oolong tea, perfect for those with delicate palates. It steeped well for me 4 times, each bringing out more flavor. A very good oolong if you like lighter teas and don't like astringency.

I love lightly oxidized oolongs like ti kuan yin and jade oolong. This one is reminiscint of jade oolong but replaces the slightly nutty undertone with a more floral taste. Very nice. I may have found a new favorite.

This is a more floral Oolong. I like it. Don't steep it for too long.

This isn't my favorite oolong for western brewing but I absolutely LOVE it for use in a Gaiwan. Its not finicky and gives a reliably good cup of tea. Highly recommended for an easy relatively cheap way to get started using a Gaiwan. I use 5g of tea for 100ml of water @ 190°F. The steep times I use are 30s, 15s, 20s, 25s, 30s, then keep adding 5 to 10 seconds up to around 8 or 9 infusions. I have also had success doing a couple of overnight cold infusions after the 8th or 9th hot infusion. I normally dump the leaves into a 16oz measuring cup and fill with water then let sit overnight (or about 12 hours).

This was a mild tea, with a pleasant green flavor and no bitterness or astringency. Though the flavor was not strong, it held up well to second and third (consecutively longer) brewings of the same leaves.

Very subtle floral flavor, maybe too subtle for me. But thinking this will blend well with something else.

Definitely golden and floral, so it lives up to its name. My newbie tea-drinker opinion is that it seems closer to green teas I've tried than to Oolong. I prefer darker Oolongs so I'm only giving it a 3-star rating, but it was enjoyable.

Not sure why everyone likes this one so much. I tried it several different ways. Different temps, different brew times, different sweeteners, without sweeteners. This Oolong just isn't my cup of tea. I think it tastes musky no matter what I do to it. Musky is the only word I can come up with, although I'm sure that's not the word a tea connoisseur would choose. It tasted and smelled like an old, wet book. Like... something out of an attic. I have written several reviews. This is the only bad one. I'm don't claim to be a tea aficionado, but do I like other Oolongs, and I trust my taste buds. I'm sure I gave this one a fair go - it's a no go.

A lovely, pleasant Oolong with a light taste. Nothing really special, but it's not bad, either.

Yum! I really enjoyed this green oolong. My favorite's are Dancong Aria and Wuyi Ensemble. It's nice to have options in the morning. Will be purchasing again soon!

When I first started drinking tea, I gravitated towards green teas. Now I tend to drink mostly black (always unsweetened). But sometimes a proper oolong hits the spot as a happy medium and this one does just that. Lovely without anything added, and no floral scent/flavor -- which is a big plus for me!

Large rolled leaves. These produce a mild and subtle flavor for a teatime break, and a good conversation starter for a friend being introduced to this style of green, as you watch the leaves unfurl. the second and third steeping are still very good, and not bitter

Yum! I love this tea. It s fresh and floral while still having the delicious butteriness that I associate with a good oolong. Very good flavor, very good depth. This tea has no astringency whatsoever and also has a lovely color and a beautiful aroma.

Very honeysuckle-esque in flavor, and very smooth too. I'd definitely buy this again!

This is a nice, basic, everyday staple oolong. Being that it's my favorite type of tea, I'll start buying this by the pound and stocking it in my stash!

★★★☆☆

Not the most amazing or appealing flavor to it for me. Not sweet like the Ti Kuan Yin that it looks visually similar to, probably a more earthy slightly organic/green-like flavor. Certainly not my favorite of the oolongs I ve had so far. Because it unfurls into such large sections of leaf, I often did around half a teaspoon(estimated using a teaspoon instead of half tsp) for a single cup brew, though this certainly led to a lighter flavor.

This one is new to me. It's lighter flavor is a treat. This green tea will delight your taste buds. Don't steep too long or it will get bitter.

When I first bought this, I reviewed this tea at 2 stars, saying it tasted like NOTHING. In the couple of years since then, I've either gotten better at brewing or acquired a more refined taste for tea because this has a very distinct floral note. One of my new favorites!

Subtle taste. It s good and wouldn t pass it up, just not one of my favorites. Maybe because at the time I was fighting a cold. I will update my review if my opinion changes.

Having a bit of trouble pinpointing the sweet spot, but it has that nice floral, grassy smell that I simply can t get enough of.

Really like this one. It's definitely floral, but not overwhelming. It was the first oolong I ordered that wasn't a sample and it's almost gone already. I also think it's just as good the 2nd time steeping as well.
