I cold brewed the Golden Flower and it had a prominent oolong taste with a beautiful bright color to the body of the tea.

I just love this tea. Among about 15 Adagio flavours that have, this one is my most frequent choice. I am not good in describing flavours, sorry. But you should definitely try it!

I like this but it can get bitter if I let it sit too long.

I bought this in the tea bags because it was all they had left. I hope they get this back in soon. Of all the oolongs I have purchased, this one is my favorite. Makes the perfect cup! No sugar or cream needed.

Very nice -- floral and sweet, but not *too* floral and sweet. I wanted a less expensive alternative to jasmine tea, and this fits the bill nicely.

The only way I can describe this tea is if spring flowers came to life in a cup, I really enjoy it!

Faintly sweet and floral. This was my first oolong and it was nice, I'll probably branch out to others if they're anything like this.

I am drinking a tea right? It s not water still? Huh. Jokes aside, what a barely there tea! It s good, don t get me wrong. Very good. There s just no color and very little favor at the recommended steep time. Instead of 3, give it 5 minutes.

A really delicious oolong, with a very fresh flavor.

My first taste of this tea was lovely! The slightly floral taste was enhanced by my cast iron tea pot. I decided to buy more and take it to work with me. This tea is good for at least 3 steepings without a noticeable flavor drop.

Loved the tea, reminds me of Pouchong which is a lot of times out of stock

This is a great green tea! Wonderful flavor. I usually add honey to my tea, but this one is already sweet, and I often don't add anything to it.

When steeped, this almost has more aroma than taste...creamy and floral. Even though it s quite subtle, it s very nice to sip slowly and resteep multiple times. And to me, it feels more expensive than it is!

A delicate tea that steeps well even if left in too long. Floral, even some citrus notes, great in the afternoon.

This tea is very pleasant, it has a sweet, vegetal scent and flavor and a little bit of this tea packs a nice punch.

A very light oolong that's characteristically floral. The price per pound is almost theft.

Flavor is really good. It has a delicate aroma, and when brewed correctly has a natural honey-like sweetness.

Thus tea both smells and tastes similar to English breakfast tea although it has a nose of Jasmine or honeysuckle. When drinking this though the definite oolong characteristics come out over the initial Floral tones.

Seriously delicious, and as an oolong lover I mean it! Its warm and creamy and a wonderful oolong for regular drinking. Has a wonderful cha qi that i had not experienced from an adagio tea before, and i ended up buying a large bag after the sample was gone.

A warm and inviting flavor. It has the orange liquor of an oolong we've all come to identify. Recommend as a staple since it's not too fruity and has no mineral aftertaste.

This particular tea is exceptionally floral. It's as if someone stuck a freshly cut bouquet under my nose and distilled it into liquid.

A wonderful tea with flower notes that evolve over repeated steeping. A bit more green for every day but fresh and soft for mornings.

LOVE IT! Golden Flower is probably my current favorite oolong tea and my go-to after a nice dinner. Very flavorful, delicate, and floral. Normally I'm not a floral tea fan, but this is an exception!

A lot of reviews have likened this to your average Chinese restaurant’s oolong. That’s not wrong. It’s robust, tasty, and simple. It’s a good workhorse, but my socks have never been knocked off by it.

★★★★☆

Vet good tea for a mid afternoon boost. A little tea goes a long way.

The Golden Flavor was too light in taste for me. For those who enjoy a lighter tasting tea, you will most likely enjoy the Golden Flower tea.

Quite in love with this one. Delicious and refreshing all in the same. Might be my new favorite cuppa

I love black tea, but this oolong is right up there in my top choices. It’s herbal enough for a traditional oolong, but there’s a deep earthy tone to it that makes this tea magnificent

Granted that I am a bit biased considering that I drink Japanese green tea religiously, I found this to be a bit too bland for my taste. It certainly doesn't taste bad, but it felt a bit...empty. It had hints of a flowery taste that danced around the periphery of your tongue, but nothing that really holds your taste buds' attention.

Very nice lightly oxidized oolong. I honestly prefer the Tie Quan Yin, but this is almost as good at a lower price point. I mixed this with the Key Lime Herbal and Wild Strawberry from Adagio and it is such a refreshing, tart and sweet iced tea blend. I can't believe I already finished the ENTIRE amount!!! So delicious

A nice Oolong tea, I like to leave it steep in almost hot water. Other times I will use 180F and a few minute steep. Ooolong is very flexible in this way. Let it cool enough to enjoy the aroma, it is not a high flavor tea.

So surprised with this oolong. It's relatively cheap so I figured it couldn't hold up to other oolongs I've tried. I tend to favor lightly oxidized, highly floral oolongs and my favorite at Adagio is the Pouchong but I will have to take that back now that I've tried Golden Flower. The floral aroma is strong and the flavor is smooth and more flavorful I think, than Pouchong. I often put a tiny amount of honey or agave in my tea to enhance the flavor a bit but I find that this tea doesn't really need it as it has a light sweetness without. It also re-brews well so I'd say it's an excellent value.

I totally agree with the review by Kathyrn Walling on June 18, 2018. She hit it on the spot and cannot add much to it. I ordered this tea bc wanted to try an oolong bc my usual gunpowder green tea was out of stock. This oolong is more of a cross between a green tea and a white tea as it is not very dark like the Honest Tea oolong (sorry had to compare it to something!) I like it but would not reorder it as would definitely try a different oolong. The flavor is light, delicate, and floral! The leaves really expand (bc they are rolled not very tight) so be careful with the amount you use with your teaspoon. I lost about 3 ounces of water bc I used too much. Also the dry texture resembles marijuana which I thought was funny!
