This might be my new favorite oolong. Fragrant, soft yet bold and delicious. I only recently discovered oolong, but I have a feeling I will keep coming back to this one!
This greener, less oxidized oolong from Fujian, China caught our attention with its pronounced floral notes at an entry-level price.

This might be my new favorite oolong. Fragrant, soft yet bold and delicious. I only recently discovered oolong, but I have a feeling I will keep coming back to this one!
Lovely tea and I will definitely order this tea over and over again
Quick rinse of leaves, you smell sweetness; like walking in a meadow after a light rain. Wet leaves after.a brew; that sweetness smell intensifies. Play with the temp and times for brewing to your liking. I like Gong fu style; which is more leaves, short brewing times with many sessions - and adjusting temp as needed to get flavor of your liking. There is a smooth flavor to this tea, mellow..but any tea might become a bit astringent and bitter if brewed incorrectly.
Decent oolong. Wish it were a big stronger, but a really solid daily drinker
Smells like maple syrup...Not my fave oolong. It isn't bad but the smell throws me off.
This is a very light floral tea. I got up to 5 good steeps out of it and then I had to stop. It wasn’t as good for a cold brew as I hoped but as a hot tea it was great.
This one is great, no grassiness detected. :) Next time I will add in some flavor bursts.
My family enjoys this tea quite a bit, and although it isn't the single most outstanding tea on the market, it is a pleasant tea that provides good value for how many cups of tea you get. I have found that this tea can be re-steeped a couple times before I finally have to toss the leaves. All-around, the flavor is enjoyable and the tea also has a pleasant aromatic scent. This has made for a good staple for myself as a tea I enjoy daily with breakfast.
A very 'green' oolong! I thought when i smelled the dry leaf that it reminded me a bit of matcha, and to my surprise that same flavor is present in the brewed tea as well. No astringency or bitterness. A very pleasant easy sipper, and I think it'd be good as a cold brew as well.
Such a lovely tea with a literal hint of orchid. It's light but flavorful. Delightful.
A pleasant, smooth cup with a tidy brew (lovely leaf curls with no little crumbles).
Upon opening my bag of Fujian Orchid, I thought it looked very funny. I brewed it hot with burdock and manuka honey. This is the kind of tea that expands A LOT when you steep it. It's a very light and smooth tea. The honey added a subtle sweet flavor to it. I think this will be a good tea to experiment with. I would definitely recommend this tea!
One of the first loose leaf Oolongs I have tried and I am glad to say that I really enjoyed it.
Love this tea. I didn't expect it to have such a rich flavor. I love the way the tea unfurls in water. I'll definitely be ordering it again!
Delicious oolong with mild mineral and floral notes. This is a beauty to watch unfurl. The open leaves are so pretty. Stands up to multiple steeps, perfect for gongfu brewing. A must try if you enjoy oolong tea. Sip, sip away!
Really nice, flowery, sweet, complex green oolong. Similar to a tie guan yin but without the sort of sour/tart edge.
This didn’t arrive in w/ my order. I ordered when your app and website were not working correctly.
I was looking for some lighter teas now that Spring is here and Summer on it's way. I am generally not a fan of green teas; however, after reading the reviews of Fujian Orchid I decided to give it a try. It is the best green tea I have tasted, and will definitely order more. It has a soft, floral tone that is not overpowering, and it needs very little sugar to bring out the floral flavor.
I enjoyed it a lot. I prefer fruity tea but this was good.
This is an excellent Oolong tea! Smooth dark tea, it was tasty.
I love the taste of this one! Almost nutty but mellow.
Floral and smooth. One of my favorite oolongs so far.
An excellent cheap oolong tea. You can't beat this for the price. Great floral aroma, sweet and smooth.
Not quite as nice as the jade but it is fine. More floral less milky less sweet same mildness
Not happy for an oolong here. Darker in color and a light earthy flavor is not what oolong is about
A fine tea but with nothing distinguishing about it.
good basic oolong. smooth earthy, rocky flavors. resteeps 4-6 times
This oolong was beautiful, floral, light, and cozy. I loved it steeped western-style and in my gaiwan.
I love this tea. I’m very much an oolong novice, but I’ve really enjoyed this tea for my mid-morning breaks at work. Simple taste, but that’s just what I need.
This is a lightly oxidized lovely green oolong, with a gentle, floral flavor. The pale liquor is beautiful and clear teaware and watching the leaves unfurl as they steep is quite serene. This will become a permanent member of the t stash.
ooooo I love this oolong (pun intended). It has a super delicate floral flavor/scent that you don't notice at all before steeping. I expected it to be blah and was pleasantly surprised. I do love Jasmine teas too, so be aware there is a floral taste to this tea too, but it's a bit more subtle. If you're not a jasmine fan this one might not be for you, but some of the floral notes fade a bit as the tea cools and sits. I didn't pay attention to how curled the leaves were and almost didn't give it enough room to unfurl in my strainer. I didn't think i was a fan of most oolongs, but after trying them from Adagio they are quickly becoming some of my favorites.
A nice green oolong with a floral nose that translates well to the flavor. Delicious and affordable too.
Wow. Love this tea. It is absolutely fantastic and will be ordering it in larger quantities. Lots of flavor. I love the straw like taste of white teas and the smokiness of some Oolongs (though not too strong). Fujian Orchid is just great and subtly combines those flavors. I don't notice the floral tones mentioned but that is a good thing for me as I do not like floral teas. If you love white teas like White Symphony and want to try an Oolong then I highly recommend this tea. Gentle, not smoky, not bitter. Truly a great tea any time of day. Also gentle on the stomach if you are prone to heartburn or reflux.
This was a flavorful, smooth tea that was lovely to drink in the evening in a glass mug, the smell was also very nice for me.
I love the sweet fresh floral taste of this tea. Light and refreshing!
Nice, subtle flowery flavor with a little bit of an earthy smell. I'm a fan
My water at work is horrible and so I hate spending on expensive teas to drink there. This is a lovely tea, even with the very bad water, and it's cost effective enough that I can drink it all day.
I'm TRYING to love oolongs and was very pleased with Fujian Rain, so I gave this one a go. It's fabulous - light and floral. A great and cost-effective intro to this type of tea.
A fine tea but with nothing distinguishing about it. Just kinda boring.
I tried it months ago in the comminutea and couldn t shake the urge to have some more. So here i am. I love this about as much as i love jasmine silver needle and pi lo chun. @adagioteas
Perfect taste and easy to brew. Would recommend to brew it at a slightly lower temp than recommended.
This tea has a comforting, light floral scent. In taste profile, it is slightly sweet even before additions. I would recommend it for all fans of oolong teas
I didn't get too much of a floral taste from this tea; to me it tasted more like a sort of green than anything else. Still not bad though! Was nice to use mixed with herbals and other sorts as well
Delightful oolong tea. Floral slightly grassy flavored with an almost honey-like sweetness.
I really like this for an afternoon tea with cookies. It has a very light floral taste but it’s so mild I nearly notice it
Easily one of the most aromatic and sippable warranties I have tried in a while.
Oolong + floral! I love a good oolong, and I love floral teas. Both meet in a cup of fujian orchid! It combines the rich roasted taste of oolong with the light, sweet taste of flowers. This tea is silky and delectable with a lovely mouth feel. I would totally buy this again!
I love this tea. It is delicate and mild, perfect both hot or cold brewed.
I was searching for a new favorite oolong and tried 8 different samples (using a tournament bracket), and Fujian Orchid was tied for first place! It is a remarkable tea at this price point, as the description says, and has a wonderful traditional floral oolong flavor. I will enjoy drinking more of this!
Entry level oolong that's great for experiencing the joy of watching curled leaves unfurl into beautiful tea leaves. Fairly simple taste of basic oolong for a very affordable price.
