I loved this tea - pretty much what I'd typically expect from an oolong. Nothing special, but perfect in a simple way. Highly recommend to well - pretty much anyone. Oolong is the best.
It's not as strong as a black tea, but it has more flavor than green or white teas. It has a slight earthy taste, but not overpowering. I like to drink this when I want the taste of black tea later in the evening without the amount of caffeine that's in black tea.
This reminds me of a lighter version of hojicha. It's roasty and mellow and smooth. Good for multiple steepings.
This was my first time trying an oolong tea and at first I wasn't very impressed, but after a few cups the flavor does grow on you. It has a very dark earthy flavor to it, while the floral aspect of it almost gives it an astringency. While I'm not quite used to the sharp flavors yet I keep finding myself reaching for this tea.
This just screams Chinese restaurant to me. It's pretty decent when brewed western style. I did attempt to brew this gongfu style once, and it became quite bitter, quite quickly, so definitely stick with western style.
This is a fine, smooth oolong. Nice smokiness and great finish.

I really appreciate this tea. It has been a long time since I last ventured into oolong. I think I picked a perfect tea to come back to. The flavor is botanical (That is to say grassy), but not disturbingly so. I enjoy it most with a meal, though it is equally pleasant on its own

This oolong wasn't bad but i didn't find anything especially amazing about it. i found the flavor to be a little flat and bitter, not the complex taste one expects from a good oolong.

I really enjoy this tea and have ordered this several times. You may want to pay attention when you pour the loose tea out of the bag. I have found small snail shells in two different orders of this tea. After the first time, I emailed the company to ask if this is normal and was told no. I ordered it again and was more careful about watching when I pour the tea into the filter and found another one an order or two later.
This is a pretty solid choice. My one small complaint would be that it is a touch on the raisin-y side but I still like it, and if you like oolong you will like this one. Plus it has a cool name.
I am newly into an oolong phase after discovering it's benefits for weight management. I tried this as part of my 'kick' and enjoyed it...though the vanilla is my favorite.

Some formosa oolong teas are too bitter and abrasive. Adagio's formosa oolong reminds me of the loose leaf tea we used to purchase at the old Marshall Fields in Chicago. Strong but smooth without the overpowering taste similar to coffee that some of the oolongs have. Well done!
Enjoyable but nothing too exciting. Not anything that I would make a staple in my home.
This tea is probably one of the most smooth oolong teasy I have tasted. The prices at adagio are very good as well. Win win.

This is my first Oolong since I've developed an appreciation for tea, and I might be a little in love. Great flavor that makes a nice morning drink when you want something that isn't milky, super smooth, and I definitely pick up on the leafy, raisin-y flavor mentioned in the description. Would absolutely recommend.
I didn't like this tea much when I first got it. I found it weak and lacking in flavor, more watery than I'd like. I can only drink it with two or three teaspoons per cup of water to get it to the strength I like. At that point it's good, but if you want a strong tea, perhaps look elsewhere.
A bit more 'oolong-y' than the Fujian Rain. the 'mineral' aspect is more prominent (though I'd characterize it more as a combination of Brussels sprout and forest duff, rubbed briskly over a wet granite boulder) That's clearly be a plus for many, which is why I'll give this a 'good'.
Looks and tastes like cheap Lipton tea. Glad I only got a sample.
I love oolongs and this has a mild flavor. Just a good oolong.
Refreshing, clean taste. I brew it in a 32 oz. teapot using a wire mesh infuser (one tablespoon) for 5 minutes, remove and add (1 tablespoon infuser) of citron green for three minutes. I will purchase this tea again.
Moit was a good tea in the morning with no sweetener. Liked the color. Wasn't bitter.
I am somewhat neutral about this tea. I liked the flavored oolong tea's so I gave this on a try. It is just okay for me. I will stick to the flavored ones.
A fairly good tea, but my impression was that it tasted almost the same as the summer darjeeling I have, but not quite as good. I couldn't really make out what made this particular tea unique. If you like this kind of tea, you would be better off with the darjeeling, or another kind of oolong.
The tea smells very earthy and rich when brewed. The taste is very woodsy as well. Not unpleasant though.
I couldn't wait for this tea to arrive. Unfortunately, I ordered a sample and it arrived stamped, 'Expire 03/22/2015.' It arrived 06/17/2016. I took a chance on it and it was awful. Very unfortunate since this was my first order from Adagio Teas.
I like oolong, my husband not so much, but this one he likes.
We put about one oz by volume not weight into a drip coffee maker. Makes a whole pot. Cannot control the temp.
It's good if you like smoky teas that taste a bit like fall leaves. Not particularly my cup o' tea, though...

A mainstay of my tea collection! Formosa is everything I enjoy in a tea. rich, dark, and flavorful, with a slightly dry, woodsy scent that in no way prepares you for how lush it is. It's sweet enough to be perfectly enjoyable without sugar, but sugar and milk would probably be fine too! I've been enjoying it for years and will keep right on doing so.
Not my favorite oolong, but it did smell amazing after brewed, the leaves are as pretty as the name suggests, and it was a decent, if a bit simple cup.
I especially enjoy oolong in the afternoon when I don't need too much caffeine.
This is a decent Taiwanese oolong. I brew gongfu style and yield a few cups. It is a good introductory into the world of formosa teas but much better awaits. Nonetheless it is warming, honey like, and grounding. 7/10
I really enjoy formosa oolong, especially just plain. I find it quite relaxing that way.
I am new to tea, and so also new to oolong. But I really love this tea.
