Didn't quite do it for me. The flavor was very mild, and I was allergic to it.
A darker oolong tea from Taiwan, formerly known as Formosa (which means 'Beautiful'). Deep raisiny and ripe fruit aroma, autumn 'leafy' note. The lingering flavor and smooth, refreshingly fruity astringency and a lovely introduction to Taiwanese tea.

Didn't quite do it for me. The flavor was very mild, and I was allergic to it.
This was my first taste of oolong, and I loved it.
Darker, heavier oolong - tends to be a bit bitter at first, mellowing with subsequent steepings.
My favorite and cheap oolong that is avalible for purchase
Been on a big Oolong kick lately, and this goes right along.
Loved this tea. It did not over steep. Perfect for fall. Very smooth taste.
This was purchased as a gift, so I personally have not tried this, but the friend I purchased it for has told me that it is their new favorite tea.
Not my fave oolong but still decent. Fam likes it.
It was a good tea if you let it seep long enough, reminded me of a slightly fruity hot water.
This is certainly not a favourite of mine. With that said, my partner really enjoyed it. I have loved other oolong teas but this one just isn't for me.
Love this tea. It reminds me of the tea that was served at Chinese restaurants in New York in my youth. I taste a slight smoky taste which I love.
A delicious form of oolong. Not super strong, but just right. Can be used multiple times!
This is a nice oolong tea. Subtle and not overwhelming. Very good flavor.
It s a very dark tea, so I drink this one with some vanilla flavored creamer. Nothing extraordinary, but still pretty good.
This is the best oolong I have had - absolutely love this every night after dinner, so smooth and yet very good flavor, not bitter at all. I will be reordering soon!
This was a solid, clean-tasting oolong. It didn't excite me, but I would recommend it for someone looking for a nice oolong tea.
One of the better formosa oolongs I've had. I enjoyed the aftertaste.
Disappointing on first sip, this tea gains some in comfort as the cup goes down. There is an earthy, wood-like undertone that I hadn't experienced before in an oolong (the product description calls it 'leafy' which I now understand, but initially took to mean something quite different), but I would prefer it were backed up with some richness to even the flavor profile out a bit. I'm glad I tried it, but I'll stick with Fujian Rain if I want a robust oolong.
Bought this bc I heard the tea you get in Asian restaurants is Oolong and I wanted that taste at home. I had it with some sushi and it was delicious. It was strong but not bitter.
These are not large leaves, but you know what? It makes no difference in the brew whatsoever! The result is a smooth, hearty cup of amber tea with zero bitterness and also quite delicious for the second steeping. Tasting of freshly-mown hay, rich, dark-ripe plum and raisin, followed by a hint of mineral (as the scent of rain-wet stone, pleasantly-clean and fresh), this oolong pairs well with both sugar and milk - or alone with Chinese cuisine. This also makes a crisp, refreshing iced tea that does well with lemon (one of the BEST iced teas I ve ever had). My Nana s favorite tea was Oolong, so I had to give this a go - and it has become one of my very favorites. I drink this each morning and will definitely re-order!
It has all the earthiness of a good oolong plus a freshness from the formosa flavor.
This type of tea is unique to me. It is very woody and spicey a lot like potpourri. Just a little fruitiness in the background. Reminds me of Darjeeling a little bit.
A solid choice for an oolong, if not particularly amazing. It has a definite sweet raisin taste as it cools, but when freshly brewed the taste is a bit metallic and flat for me. I prefer it iced! All in all, if it's your first foray into oolong, it wouldn't be a bad choice.
This is a decent oolong for the price. You get the faint undertones of muscatel or peach, very lightly though.
It was OK. Not as complex as I generally like my oolongs to be. Just average, nothing special.
I really love this one! It's got a soft flavor, a little grounded and a little smokey. But it's got a wholesome flavor that will perk you up in the morning.
Really nice smoky, dark flavor without being overbearing. I usually get the Irish Breakfast as my regular, but I am thinking of mixing this in more as well.
Awesome as before. Good depth and complexity. This is a favorite for afternoon tea
This one I drink when I am at work. It is great for curbing hunger. As I went further into the bag I discovered mostly stems and chopped up leaves. good oolong is whole leaves that unfurl as brewed. avoid this one.
This is a really nice tea - I'm enjoying it hot and iced. One of my favorites.
Not a favorite...I will mix it with yunnan for a better flavor
This a case where you get what you pay for. If you are nostalgic for oolong tea that reminds you of that giant urn of tea at your favorite 70's or 80's Chinese restaurant, this is spot on. The tea is a mix of leaves at different oxidation levels and different sizes. Mostly cut or torn leaves. Adagio is correct that this tea needs to be steeped in boiling water (unlike most oolongs) to get the most out of it. If I were still a student I'd probably regard this tea as a great deal. If you are blessed with a few extra dollars to spend on tea, there are better, more enjoyable choices.
62/100
This Oolong will remind you of the tea you can expect in the finest oriental restaurants. It is robust and full bodied and yet very smooth. A delightful tea to enjoy with food, or merely as a relaxing drink any time of day.
This is a really nice oolong, we enjoyed it a lot.
A plain dry leaf oolong with limited palate, easy drinker
Good oolong for the price! Warm, buttery and makes the room smell great. Works well in a gong fu style, though there are tiny bits of leaf in the bottom of your cup if you don't use a strainer. Will be reordering as a daily drinker oolong.
~6.5g in a 110mL gaiwan.
Very good earthy tea. Gets better as it cools down a little.
This oolong was much darker than I expected, comparable to some black teas. For the price this isn't a bad choice but if you have a little more cash I would recommend the milk oolong over this tea.
My go to morning and mid-day tea. Overal earthy flavor enjoy.
This tea wasn't bad, but it wasn't great, either.
This is a delicious, every-day sort of oolong. It's got a complex taste and that nice buttery flavor I associate with oolongs. While not as amazing as some of the higher priced ones, it's definitely a deal at the price.
In my mind, this is a prototypical oolong. It is not as robust as a black tea, but carries a bit more depth than a green. I could sit all day and drink this tea as I read a good book.
Formosa Oolong issolid go-to tea for everyday enjoyment

Very nice introduction to oolong teas. I enjoyed this one and will definitely buy again.
Love the mellow oolong taste on this tea - highly recommend this.
My MIL loves this tea so I make sure to 'gift' as often as she needs.
I really enjoy this oolong. Great flavors and goes great with honey.
This is unequivocally the best oolong I have ever tasted. It's everything an oolong should be: mulchy, toasty, medium bodied, smooth textured, and lightly caffeinated. The recommended 1 tbsp is a little weak for me, so I add two, but at the price they are selling it for, that's no sacrifice. I also steeped it for a second time and was pleased to find that while the mulchiness had faded, what remained was a sweet liquor that reminded me of the mineral water I used to drink as a child from our well. Highly recommended!
