This was amazing! I was adamant about ordering it because I thought it was expensive but it was soo worth it! Buying so much more now!
Taiwanese pouchong is the most lightly oxidized of all oolongs. Inviting sugary-floral nose from the emerald leaves, yielding pale golden liquor with a soft, melting butter texture. Uplifting honeysuckle aroma lingers on long after the last sip.

Very smooth and buttery. I loved the flavor of this and will def buy again.
High quality tea with deeply sophisticated flavor. Very smooth taste of oolong with a slight floral note.
An excellent pouchong with a bold but not astringent flavor.
like this tea very much. i could drink this tea all day. it is one of the best teas i have ever tasted. will be ordering it in the future.
This has a very light floral aroma and flavor. I do notice the light buttery notes as well. It is a very mild tea if that is what you are after.
Amazing, simply delicious. Best oolong I’ve ever tried.
This tea was fabulous. Not bitter and not overly strong. It is one of my favorites that I purchased from Adagio.
As said in many other reviews. If you love the smell of flowers you will love this. It tastes like you are drinking roses
I like the subtle taste of this tea. Very nice in the morning.
slightly floral notes, but nothing overpowering. I don't think I would pay that much again for this tea.
I didn't like this one at all, it was way to subtle for me.
Light and soothing but with good body. Plus you can get more than 1 use out of the leaves.
Light, grassy notes, lightly floral-sweet, mild butter mouth-feel. A clean sophisticated Taiwanese light oolong with a beautiful leaf. Held up for about 2.5 steeps. Out of curiosity I inspected the leaves when I went to empty the strainer and I was pleased to see that almost all of them were at least an inch long (many over 2') and nearly intact. So pretty!
This is a favorite of my wife. The flavour is a little subtle, as is the aroma.
Delicious. I regularly get multiple infusions out of this fulfilling and nuanced tea. Flavor holds up in follow-up steeps as long as steep time is increased. Very smooth tea with no hints of harshness.
Soft mellow flavor, especially on second steep and beyond.
This tea is really flavorful. I really like it and drink it often.
I had never tried this, or any, oolong so I was not sure what to expect. It was good, although I had to use a lot more tea than usual to get a good flavor, even when following the heating and steeping instructions. Still good though.
Outstanding! Such a wonderful complete flavor. It has a light floral, sweet taste that is so smooth. This is a must try tea. I will be ordering this again for sure.
My friend shared this tea with me before I came to purchase. I love way it brews up. The soft aroma that curls into my nose before I take a sip, the subtle taste, and the way it makes my shoulders relax are all reasons I had to come buy more.
I really do love this tea...Very smooth and quality tasting. To me tastes a little like honeysuckle. But very expensive.
Nice flavor that is not too strong. I would get this tea again.
The tea itself was favorable, but the price did not reflect the quality. I am afraid that the batch of tea I received was excessively dry and brittle that may be sign that it has been stored for a long time or improperly. I might try this tea again if it goes on sale or I buy a fresher batch.
This was one of the first oolong I tried. I enjoyed it but I really prefer green tea.
I have lived in Taiwan for ten years and have enjoyed their tea for as long, and from people who knew their leaves and knew how to brew. I recently returned to the US and have been craving something more than the sad pounded powders in a tea bag can offer. Formosa Pouchong has a lovely fragrance, it is my favorite aspect of this tea. The taste is clean and just right, the color bright and clear. If you are curious about what Taiwanese teas can offer, this tea is a solid place to start.
Large pieces of dark green, beautifully-twisted dry leaves smell faintly of jasmine as does the tea, which brewed at 3 minutes is pale green with delicate floral notes and a very mild taste. I chose to brew to 5 minutes, though I tasted at 30 second intervals. The clear pale gold brew developed a hint of a tang but retained the subtly sweet floral scent in the background. This is a gentle tea, with zero astringency. If you like teas that taste green (I don t generally), this falls nearer to that than a black tea. Nevertheless, this was quite pleasant and I ll definitely finish my sample! (5 min@195)
This tea is easily one of my favorites! I love the floral aroma and taste, it's incredibly pleasant! It also still retains that buttery, earthy flavor I love so much oolong and green teas.
I love oolongs! This was interesting. I got a bread-like taste to it. I even tried it iced because why not, and it was also pleasantly refreshing.
Anything from the masters collection is absolutely delicious. Seriously. This is always worth the price.
The smell of this tea is heavenly. It's very floral and I could just smell it all day! It also tastes good, though for me the taste didn't quite live up to the amazing scent. A very solid, enjoyable tea though.
This was a nice tea, but for me not really worth the price. I preferred the Tiguanyin.
This a smooth, delicate tea. Definitely to be savored.
Really bland and fairly uninspiring, not very nuanced and sadly only had about one steep in it.
Excellent flavor, just like the other reviews said. First steep is very buttery, second and third are floral. Don't steep it above 200, just keep adding time. Expensive, but definitely worth the cost.
I don't get why this one is so popular. It's a bit too 'earthy' for me.
I haven't tried this, my daughter has, and I think she likes it. She follows the directions listed for temperature & time.
My favorote adagio oolong offering, very good body and long finish
Excellent oolong with sweet grass and white fruits, excellent mouthfeel and good for 3 infusions
The sell of the leaves is intoxicating, but the tea is not as good as it smells. the first steeping is nice with very complex nutty tones. subsequent steepings lose some of this character. For the price, I will be buying a different oolong next time.
There are few things that can completely reboot my soul as well as the smell of this brewing.
Wow. Such a beautiful tea. Even my mom likes this one, and she is a loyal coffee drinker! Even though it is expensive, I will keep on re-ordering.
I love this tea. It's very smooth with a slight floral note. I normally pour my teas over ice but I like this tea so much that I drink it hot before I pour it over ice.
This is a good green tea, but I think I prefer the Ali Shan.
This tea is great! I really enjoy drinking it in the afternoon.
This is among the best I have tried. Very aromatic with a strong mouth feel that finishes clean. Lingering floral notes are followed by a light earthiness that lasts for minutes. Very nice.
I can definitely taste the raisin and autumn-leaf notes. A very good tea. Different instructions on the little tin versus the web page, so I went with the former.
This oolong tea was ok. I given this tea as a gift.
Very light and floral blend. Was not expecting such a minimal flavor for a oolong. Though tasty it was not as strong as i would like. Still a good tea
Buttery and smooth. A nice enjoyable cup of tea. Floral notes are nice.
