A lovely delicate floral tea- just sweet enough that I don't feel any need to add honey without it being too sweet. Very pleasant smooth/buttery tea with maybe a hint of citrus underneath.
Taiwanese pouchong is the most lightly oxidized of all oolongs. Inviting sugary-floral nose from the emerald leaves, yielding pale golden liquor with a soft, melting butter texture. Uplifting honeysuckle aroma lingers on long after the last sip.

I really enjoy this for a morning or afternoon tea. It’s mild but still flavorful. Would definitely recommend
This Taiwanese oolong tea is lovely, floral and slightly fruity. It is delicious over ice, brewed 3 minutes 175 degrees. If you prefer hot tea, brewing it gongfu style is a pleasure itself. The heat of the teaware brings out the fragrance of the leaves and sipping it from small cups is serene. Gongfu, 45 seconds at 190 degrees, 60 seconds for the second infusion.
I wasn’t sure what to expect but I just LOVED this oolong. It’s so robust and aromatic! Truly an unexpected favorite.
I feel like this is about the same butterly taste as the milk oolong. Both are very good
Too robust for me! It’s is Howe ever better hot than iced
A wonderful oolong with great complexity and depth of flavor. Brewed Gong Fu style.
This was okay, but Adagio has better tasting green teas.
Simply the Best oolong tea there is. High Quality!
Very light flavor for my taste, but what I do taste is good. I do get some floral lilac before a butteriness kicks in. I’m going to have to play with the tea to water ratio and steep time to up the flavor for my tastes. I brewed 2 tsp per 16oz cup and I’m wishing I added more tea or brewed longer than the suggested time.
Another good tea that is in constant rotation and on auto renew.
This tea has a wonderful mouth feel and a light flavor. I really enjoy this tea
This tea might look like water, but it is divine – it tastes like honeysuckle with a melting butter aftertaste. A first steep at 180F had a hint of jasmine, and a re-brew at 165F was more vegetal, crisp, lovely, and mouth watering. After the 3rd steep, I noted less floral and honey notes but more buttery flavors; greenish taste was gone for good after that. I began to steep for longer periods at higher temperatures all the way up to a lovely 7th steep. This tea is light, sweet, refreshing, and perfect when cool. Brewing in a clay pot increases mineral taste while retaining smooth honey mouthfeel, and brings forward an addicting saltlike finish. Excellent for a relaxed, mindful morning with multiple brews.
Definitely will be ordering again and again and again! Such a smooth, mild yet rich oolong! Amazing!
This tea packs a punch! If you like the smell of flowers, this tea has a strong floral taste yet somehow still maintains a lightness that is really refreshing.
I am not used to trying teas other than ones that are fruit or spice flavored. I was quite surprised at the smoothness of this tea. Definitely a unique flavor that I could get used to.
A delicate oolong, but very flavorful. It has a floral, almost lilac, scent and flavor. It is one of those teas where you just hold the mug up where you can continually inhale it between sips. A lovely tea to sip and savor. I did find it a little weak at the recommended 3 min, but 4 min was perfect.
I was captivated by the enchanting floral aroma and found myself just repeatedly inhaling the olfactory deliciousness of this brew. What followed were delicate cream and butter notes that reminded me of a milk oolong.
The downside is it’s a two steeping only tea, and the price point.
I am not a Chinese tea expert - yet - but I think this Oulong tea has great flavor - easy to drink - makes me feel good when I drink. I would highly recommend it.
The tea has a very nice aroma and I really enjoy the taste left behind in the mouth after the tea is gone. I tried the cheaper Pouchong oolong as well - the Formosa Pouchong is definitely more refined in terms of aroma and taste.
this is a seriously good oolong. it won t win any awards but it is priced reasonably and has a very complex yet balanced taste.
At first I wasn't sure about this one, as it brews up very lite in color, but one taste with just a drop of milk or cream, and I was sold. Very smooth taste, reminded me of the milk oolong, which is also a favorite of mine!💖
Grassy taste hits the back of the tongue nicely without being too strong.
I found this Oolong a little boring and almost too light.
The Formosa Pouchong Tea is a nice tea in my collection of Oolong teas. It is very good.
This tea is quite good, though I'm not quite sure I would justify the price-point again. It does have a smokiness that is simultaneously bright which is pleasant and unique.
A bit better than the regular pouchong, but again, it s a bit difficult to get much flavor, especially on 2nd or 3rd brews.
Not the best, not the worst. I might also just not be a fan of pouchong!
Very rich and complex. Holds up well to multiple steepings. Interesting looking leaves.
Delicious lightly oxidized green. Easy to brew with a distinct taste and floral aroma. Gaiwan brewed 3 times with consistent flavor.
Beautiful tea leafs, this is a bit lighter on the flavor, but that does not make it bad. It is similar to other butter or milk oolongs in that the flavor is slightly creamy. Excellent.
Very nice green oolong tea. The leaves were emerald green with a light flavor.
I steeped 2 teaspoons at 195 deg F over 3 min, but was not able achieve much flavor. The tea lacks the body, flavor and aroma of other oolong varieties, such as Jade oolong. Very disappointed. Not worth the added expense.
A very very light and delicate oolong. There's a slight sweetness but nothing overt. The enjoyment of this tea comes in its cleanness. Still great on the second washing.
This is a very mild tea, easy to drink, with a delicious flavor. On the pricier end, my daily will be golden flower, but will indulge with this higher quality tea every now and then.
Really good, subtle tea flavor that's a bit more savory than regular green tea.
A light and delicious cup. I find I'm preferring greener oolongs more and more!
Easily my favorite oolong and I’m picky about oolong! This is such a delightful and delicate floral body and is just sooooo yummy!!
I've had this in the past, and it was quite good. Not sure if I got an old batch, but it was seriously tasteless. I've tried overbrewing it to extract some kind of taste out of it, but it merely approximates 'tea-flavored water' as one of my fellow tea-drinking friends put it. It really is disappointing. I might even throw it out at this point.
Another gift for my daughter who loves your teas.
Another winning gift!
Another amazing oolong, definitely try it if you haven't yet!
Excellent tea. Happy to have tried it. Would order again.
Exquisite. Complex flavor and aroma profile. Soft coconut with hints of warm spices and subtle lingering floral undertones. A real treat.
Different, and was a pleasure to taste. I enjoyed the uniqueness of this tea. Floral if I had to give it a description, but not overly so. Try it for yourself and see what I mean.
Great oolong, mild and floral taste. One of my favorite Taiwanese oolongs from Adagio so far.
Good all-day tea. Light but flavorful. Excellent when sweetened and chilled.
This is quite possibly the best tea I ve ever tasted. There s no mistaking it s a high quality tea.
Light and smooth, this is a very mild green tea with floral notes.
I brewed it gongfu style. Absolutely divine. It's velvety, thick, and very warm. So silky, it didn't even feel like liquid was going down my throat. Just this lovely sensation of warmth!
I found this tea very weak in flavor ... will not order again.
